Guest Reviews
- Arunava (2/5): - I booked this property via Expedia believing it was a proper hotel in the Park Street area. Unfortunately, it is not a hotel at all, it’s closer to a homestay/guesthouse setup, and the listing is highly misleading.
The property is dirty, and the entrance is in a narrow, shady alley, which feels especially unsafe at night. There is no proper reception or front desk, and no identifiable staff. There are random people constantly moving around the building, which made me feel very uncomfortable as a guest.
There is ongoing construction and noise throughout the day, making it difficult to rest.
The amenities advertised are not accurate. They claim to have a restaurant and breakfast facilities, but in reality it’s just very limited in-room dining. Breakfast consisted of only one item, with no real choice. None of the facilities shown in the photos actually exist. The photos are deceptive and do not reflect the real condition or setup of the property.
To make matters worse, once you’ve made the reservation, getting a refund is extremely difficult, even if you’re uncomfortable and choose not to check in.
As an international traveler visiting from the US, this was a very disappointing and stressful experience. I would strongly advise others to avoid this property and not rely on the Expedia listing.
- Steve (10/5): - The rooms were very large and clean and a good value.
- Anjana (10/5): - Great hotel with courteous staff in the prime Park Street location. Good breakfast, spacious and clean rooms, and convenient room-service options. You can also walk to numerous dining spots, shops, bookstores, heritage sites, and even the nearby U.S. Consulate (if you have the need)
- Devika (8/5): - The room was lovely; large, clean, and airy. Just over the very busy Park street, it was very peaceful. The bathroom was clean and big. There was a little area to make tea/coffee, with a hot water kettle and a mini fridge. Breakfast every morning of your choice from a menu, brought to you at the time of your choosing.
The only down side was that we were on the 4th floor and the elevator stopped working. It wasnt fixed by the time we left, so we had to cart our suitcases down by ourselves since it was 5 am and no one was awake to help.
