- Mairead (3/5): Good location but poor overall experience. Would not rebook this property. - The location was very central and had shops and public transport close by. Upon booking, I was provided with instructions to collect the keys from a lockbox located approximately 300 metres from the building entrance. The image supplied clearly showed a labelled lockbox; however, upon arrival, the label had been rubbed off and there were around ten similar lockboxes present. This required me to try the code on multiple boxes before locating the correct one, which significantly delayed our access to the property.
Only one key was provided, despite prior notification that five guests would be staying. This caused considerable inconvenience, as our entire weekend revolved around coordinating access to the apartment. While I understand there was a lockbox nearby, it was located down a poorly lit road away from the main area and did not feel safe to access alone at night. I contacted property management to request an additional key but was informed that only one was available.
There were also several maintenance and cleanliness concerns. One of the showers drained extremely poorly, with water rising approximately an inch within minutes and overflowing the shower frame, flooding the bathroom floor. There were no sanitary bins provided in either bathroom, and only one small bin was available in the entire apartment, which was nearly full upon our arrival. The dishwasher appeared to be faulty and had not been properly cleaned, as there was stagnant water in the base and a clogged drain. Additionally, the balcony was heavily soiled with bird droppings and appeared not to have been cleaned for some time.
Overall, these issues significantly impacted our stay and should be addressed to improve future guests’ experience.
- Williamson (8/5): Great location - Location and communication Cleanliness. While there appeared to be a surface level clean and bedding was clean, the drains and grout in the showers needed cleaning. There was also layered dust on many surfaces (eg: behind bedroom doors)
- ATUL (7/5): Great location but the actual apartment is decent but some facilities were not working. - The location was very convenient. One of the bedrooms dint have the air con went. The common bathroom had a water clogging issue. The internet was working intermittently. Also the common bathroom couldn't be locked as the lock was broken.
