Guest Reviews
- Francesca (10/5): - Our stay at Amaya’s Guest House was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth that made us feel instantly at home. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained, thoughtfully curated, and full of charm in every corner.
My husband and I went to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. I messaged the Johnny our host asking if there was any way we can make it feel more special. When we arrived we received a complimentary bottle of wine the most delicious shortbread cookies and Johnny made us a carrot cake !!
What i really loved about this location is out rich in history it is which Johnny shared with us. He also shared so many places we can go for lunch/dinner, sight seeing or just places we can take a walk and explore. It was a bit cold so we can to come back in the spring /summer to visit the hiking paths and spend more time outdoors.
Lastly - My husband and I are big breakfast people so being able to wake up to a hot cup of coffee and amazing food was pure perfection. This was my first experience with any Bed and Breakfast and now it will not be the last.
I definitely plan to make this a frequent destination for us to getaway and reconnect and I recommend the same for others as this is a perfect location for solo travelers, couples and families. 10/10 I truly wish I could tell you everything I love but it's better for you to experience it for yourself.
- Jehann (10/5): - This property is simply magical...and healing! I had an unbelievable weekend with my host, Johnny, who treated every guest with so much tenderness and care. When I arrived, Johnny gave me a tour of the house, which is absolutely stunning! The pictures are amazing, but the house is even more so. My first night was peaceful and I slept like a baby. The river in the back was mediative just sitting out back by the fire pit or in the jacuzzi. Johnny cooked a fabulous breakfast each morning. His avocado toast and french toast is to die for. He gave me excellent recommendations from a waterfall hike to dinner and various towns to explore. I honestly came to Amaya tired and stressed and left feeling rejuvenated. The place is just healing and perfect for a solo trip, family/friends weekend or even an event. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! It wont disappoint.
- Michaela (10/5): - We had a very relaxing weekend at the Amaya Bed & Breakfast. The host was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and was the perfect way to start our mornings. The house itself is so beautifully decorated and the surrounding area was very peaceful. I look forward to staying again in the future.
- Daniel (10/5): - We had nothing short of a magical weekend at the Amaya. Johnny took such good care of us and made us feel right at home. The breakfast is delicious. The beds are so comfortable and we loved relaxing by the fire listening to the sounds of the river at night. Can’t wait to return!
- Michael (10/5): - A lovely stay.
