Guest Reviews
- Stephen (10/5): -
- Ajay (1/5): - Nothing Place smells of piss, staff are a disgrace to the human race & accommodation itself doesn't meet building safety act requirements, hazards galore
- Safinaz (8/5): Great location and value for price! - Amazing location, in the heart of Coventry.
The staff were friendly, they upgraded my room, as it had strong detergent smell, and there weren't others available. So, I got upgraded to a studio free of charge, quite caring for the guest's comfort.
I liked the vibes of the place. It is a student accomodation, so if you are used to hotels with iron and hairdryer ensuite, spare yourself the trouble. These things are available but for rent/hour thru an easy peasy locker system in the reception area.
If you are picky about little hair here and there, also spare yourself the trouble.
- Ritchie (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (6/5): Pleasant - Good value for money, nice little studio including a small kitchen and iron. The hosts did their best to accommodate our needs, providing a fan to us upon request after a rough first night (I definitely prefer hot weather, but a fifteenth floor room in a glass box with no fan was just too much). Just FYI (neither a positive nor a negative) it's a dorm room, which I guess gets rented out over the summer break. In addition to the heat, the room had a strong stale cigarette smell, which was a bigger letdown. But the main issue was the hosts' relentless spamming (one new message per day since the day of the booking) to "confirm my reservation" at an external website (even though I had booked with free cancellation and therefore didn't need to confirm yet) and even threatening to "cancel the booking if you are not able to provide the required information on Guest Portal at least 48 hours before check-in", even after I had already submitted the required information. After all that spamming, I find it especially funny that in spite of all that I only received their check-in instructions AFTER the check-in time.
- Guy (9/5): Very good value for money, handy, clean - Clean tidy friendly staff happy to help bit noisy over the weekend, lots of students about of course, just worth knowing it’s got a buzz about it
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb -
- Amy (9/5): Clean and comfortable - It was a great stay, great value for money. Good size studio, nice view , very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Ms Klaudia who was a great help.
- Mark (5/5): Good price quality - Price wise amazing, really nice staff. But after booking you receive 5 messages per day with instructions via email, booking.com, text.. this is really annoying.
- Amy (9/5): Superb - It was a great stay, great value for money. Good size studio, very clean and comfortable, nice view. The staff was very helpful.
- Croft99 (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Marek (7/5): Great location and good value. - Location - near the city centre, comfy bed and the room was clean. The many doors from reception to the bedrooms need soft closing mechanism - without, they close with a terrible, disturbing loud bang. The bedrooms need a toilet brush and waste paper bins.
- Richie (7/5): A lot to like, a few maddening things - - Good price
- Excellent location
- Straightforward to access
- Nice to have a kitchen, even if it lacked a bin!
- Good view - The ridiculous amount of information needed to register. Front and back of driving licence. Selfie. THEN DO IT AGAIN BECAUSE I'M TRAVELLING SOLO?
- No bins in the kitchen or bedroom
- Got locked out of my room despite having the key due to its poor design (basically the bathroom door and bedroom door are too close together)
- In summer, need to open window as no air-con, but then it's noisy
- Duncan (6/5): Convenient, cheap place, clean and tidy. Beds not the comfiest but ok, and very much no frills. - Convenient, cheap, staff helpful when needed. Only one loo roll for four days seems a bit stingy. Ditto one thing of shampoo/body wash. So I had to go shopping.
- Kaluba (5/5): It was fair. Wouldn’t recommend staying longer than a week - I like its proximity to stores Staff generally unhelpful
- Jayne (7/5): Cute student studios, which was a good value stay. - Amazing view from the 14th floor. Very new interior- neat design. The studio room had most items we needed for our weekend break. Many thanks. Pre-stay administration- Extremely focused on ID. I had to renew my passport, as my old passport was rejected, it was days out of date. Zero flexibility to share other ID apart from driving licence. I’m not a car driver.
Room was too hot 🥵 - the window opening is restricted, so the air flow was not enough to displace the trapped heat. Also the blind closes the window, when it’s drawn.
Mattress - alas was very lumpy.
Room and location Information- I would have appreciated more information aimed at their short stay guests. Alas very little verbal interaction with the reception staff and no in room literature. The combination/microwave oven remained an enigma. I’m on Holliday- emails are for work!
- Alex (6/5): Pleasant - Cold/lukewarm shower and below average shower pressure
- Mascha (7/5): Good - Modern building. No toilet paper!
- Mukhtar (8/5): Over all stay is GOOD - Reception Staff all of them are very helpful and kind to customers, specially ALEX at the time of check-in Lifts were not cleaned and guest did not bother to left the shared kitchen area cleaned
- Ollie (7/5): Good - Easy check in, helpful staff and a good location. It was very clean and some great views. Great for the price. The gym lacked (I opted to go to the PureGym which was a 15 minute walk away).
Do NOT stay here in the heat. It’s no fault of the venue but for my stay it ranged between 25-30 degrees in the day and the south facing rooms were like a greenhouse with no air con. If there is good weather forecast, stay in a hotel.
- Samantha (8/5): Very good -
- Carl (8/5): Very good - Staff very friendly and helpful The shower had hardly any pressure that's the only thing wrong
- Ben (8/5): Perfect room and location for solo traveller. - Rooms great, especially the plug ports/ USB ports. Nice big desk. Great location. Window won't fully open and gets very hot as no aircon etc
- Divya (7/5): Lovely reception staff. Horrible booking experience and unreasonable online staff - The reception staff, if they are informed are very helpful. Shoutout to Maggie, Alex and Ahmed. They helped me a lot as this is my second booking of this place. The entire booking system which is done online and the entire staff that is online is unreasonable and does not understand anything about hospitality.
The booking system is so weird that you cannot extend the same room or make any changes in your booking. They make you change rooms over and over each time you extend. It seems they don't like repeat customers.
Unfortunately I was stuck with this place due to my unconventional situation.
- Tamoor (9/5): Superb - Everything was perfect in terms of location, service, and comfort. The facilities are quire good, and the kitchen were perfect as it should be. A fan running inside the bathroom made a noise, but it was fine.
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Hannah (6/5): Pleasant - Central location Very noisy from traffic and room was too warm.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Tereso (10/5): Exceptional - The furniture was very nice. They allocated me in the 14th floor and the views were amazing!! Everything was good but if I'd to complain I'd say that there were a couple of small things broken and the instructions to reach the room were a bit poor
- Amit (10/5): Exceptional - Janet was real helpful Nothing
- Katie (8/5): Great location, great view of the city. - Location, comfort, amazing view! Groups of people being extremely loud 2-4am every night which kept me awake. No bins in the room. Extremely hot too. Quite a few hairs in the shower.
- Kaya (8/5): Very good -
- Chun-liang (8/5): Very good - 1. Very good views from the window.
2. Nice kitchen and comfortable.
3. The manager is a very nice lady and she is very kind person to help me about a long stay. 1. The bed is very soft.
2. After midnight, there are still some other people talking so loudly outside from different floors that it is difficult to sleep.
3. The reception desk staffs are a little bit cold but the manager is very kind and helpful.
4. The place surrounding the accommodation is a bit complex.
- Denis (9/5): Superb -
- Gavin (8/5): Very good - The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was just what I needed. Great location, very fair pricing and it was a comfortable stay. The en suite bathroom had a spacious shower cubicle and power shower. The WiFi was patchy at times, but for the price of the room, it didn't matter. It was still a very good place to stay.
- Eterna (9/5): Superb - Nice view and spacious room. The room and the towels provided aren’t very clean
- Christiaan (9/5): Superb -
- Sikander (8/5): Very good -
- Denis (9/5): Superb -
- Gordon (9/5): Superb -
- Rami (8/5): Very good - The location The mattress needs to be replaced...
- Wim (1/5): WORST EVER - STAY AWAY - WORST EVER STAY AWAY WORST EVER IN 20 years booking.com
Property is a scam, it asks your passport details via an external website
This is against all booking.com general conditions which is only communicate via booking.com
Property does not want to refund and sticks to their illegal policy
Payment blocked via my own credit card company
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Johannes (7/5): Great accommodation, very good value for money. Centrally located in Coventry. - The location of the accomodation is great! It's a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. There are several restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, bus stops, etc. in walking distance. The people working there are really nice and helpful. The room could have been a bit cleaner. The surfaces were all clean, but there was still a bit of trash in my wardrobe and dust under the bed. Nothing major, but for a perfect stay, the cleaning should have been a bit more thorough.
- Juliana (10/5): Great experience in the heart of coventry - Great location and fantastic facilities.
The bedrooms are in a good size and the bathroom is perfect.
It is close to convenience stores, small restaurants, and bars. The bus stop is just around the corner The only thing that I could ask for improved is that they could make a brom available, so if we stay for more than a couple days that we can make the room clean
- Stefania (10/5): Exceptional - The place was more than I expected. It was like a studio with your own bathroom, there is also a gym and the place is very close to the shopping centre. Easy to coming and go anywhere. Friendly staff. N/A
- Annapurna (9/5): Great stay! - Room was clean and spacious, view was amazing, location was good, staff were friendly, price was affordable. Network and internet connection was poor. Bedsheet was not soft.
- Thomas (9/5): Great stay and good value for money - It was easy after a bit of confusion, as my email was not loading and they were not sure it had been confirmed. However, it was all good at the end when they found my booking, just technology decided to have me panic.
Just to note the night staff was great and put me in a different room when we realised the fan in my original room was not working properly The location is close to the city center, however is quite difficult to find - It would be good to have more details on the booking itself.
- Juliana (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect room and very friendly staff.
You are in a perfect location with bases and super close to the city center
- Avenir (5/5): Passable -
- Gordon (10/5): Exceptional - The location was excellent, the staff was friendly and very welcoming
- Iryna (8/5): Generally very good place to stay. I will come back again. - Nice place, convinient location, with best view to the city.
Room have everything you need, double bed, duvet, 2 pillows. Shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Warm and cosy. The kitchen have all the equipment. Under the bed was very dusty. The lamp on desk didn't work.
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Sameera (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sankeerthana (8/5): Best apartment for short travels. - I liked the location and property maintanance. Unfortunately, the room is dusty because of the window facing towards the road. If the mopping stick is provided, it would have been the excellent.
- Angel (9/5): Great Value for money - The size of the room was very good, the washroom was new beautiful and spacious! For me this was a real value for money considering the location. The only downside was when I arrived I was only shown the way to my room and the staff didn't escort me which was a bit low for me. It's not my house and it's only nice that at least upon arrival, somewhere brings you to your door at leats and then you can take it from there. Aside from that, it was a clean and very nice place.
- Keita (10/5): It was amazing - The space of the room, the ensuite bathroom Nothing
- Alfie (9/5): Superb -
- Chukwuma (9/5): Superb - Everything .
- Hamza (8/5): Very good -
- Hamza (9/5): Superb -
- Hamza (9/5): Superb -
- Prerona (8/5): Very good - Spacious rooms. The kitchen unit had all kinds of utensils and cutlery. Large work table. No housing-keeping was available. We stayed for 5 nights but no one came to clean the room or washroom. Not even to dispose of the garbage bins.
- Femi (9/5): Great, neat and quiet - Quiet and neat Shower light kept going off
- Ying (8/5): Very good -
- Dina (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the staff, everyone was very nice.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the security. I felt like the property was very safe and I felt safe sleeping at night and walking around the premises.
Much appreciation for the night shift workers, Fadi and Shivam made the place feel homey and were very welcoming and talkative, which I really appreciated considering I was traveling alone.
They were very helpful with anything I needed. Very lucky to have met them, hats off! The mattress on the bed could've been better. :)
And maybe AC in the room. Or a fan would be good too.
If the window was able to be opened just a tad bit more so the cold air gets in quicker and cools the room off would be fine as well. But, overall, not a bad experience.
- I-i (1/5): staff were unhelpful, at times rude and disconnected calls. promises by text were not followed up. They should be ashame - the look on the website they did not make clear you had to send all your personal info and ID pictures over online. This was only communicated after the period of free cancellation expired. Staff were unhelpful
- M (8/5): Friendly staff, good facilities and value for money - Lovely staff, secure environment, use of the gym and access to a well equipped kitchen - a good value alternative to a hotel.
- Artur (8/5): Very good -
- Hadasah (9/5): Overall I had a fantastic stay and will happily stay here again - I liked all the facilities in the property and the set up of the room. I also found it quiet and relaxing. Staff were friendly and there is security/staff there 24/7 in the building which made me feel safe. I think the property could have been a little cleaner, the floor hadn’t been swept, the cooker and fridge hadn’t been cleaned properly and the bedsheets weren’t pressed.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (9/5): Great stay - Facilities was great, very central, overall very happy with the stay and would recommend. downside that the floors wasnt clean and shower drain was blocked.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -

- Anita (7/5): Good - Noise in the middle of the night

Broken fridge
- Iveta (8/5): I’m very satisfied with my stay! - Excellent price-value balance! 15 min walking distance from railway station and less than 10 min walk to bus station (X1 to Birmingham).
I had a room on Floor 14 with beautiful view. Well equipped Kitchenette was useful - all cutlery and dishes available.
Comfortable bed, room is spacious. I missed hairdryer - hadn’t noticed the place do not provide the one.
No luggage room if you want to leave your stuff until the evening after checking out.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Gihan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chinwe (7/5): Good -
- Annette (6/5): It did what it was needed to do. - No food was included in this package The hair of another person in the bed and shower. On arrival the bathroom and under the bed were not clean to an expectable standard
- Anastasia (8/5): Great budget option for solo travellers - Comfortable ensuite room in a quiet part of Coventry on one side of the local university campus. Really liked having a desk and access to a shared kitchen, and being within walking distance to grocery stores, shops, train station, etc. Staff were also very nice and the shared lounge spaces were great. The shared kitchen needed more regular cleaning-- or for cleaning supplies (like a broom) to be left out for guests to use. Typical noise problems from heavy fireproof doors slamming at all hours of the day.
