The staff was unreachable by phone or email. To make matters worse, they texted in the evening asking if check-in went well, but did not reply when I informed them of the issues.

Nos hubiera gustado poder disfrutar de las estancias comunes. Pero estaban sin habilitar y el patio de atrás también. Es muy elegante y distinguido. Y el edificio es histórico. Al lado de la catedral- basílica. Son espléndidos con los detalles. Estábamos solos en el edificio. Por la tarde noche. Y de día estaban los albañiles arreglando el tejado Con un andamio. No hemos tenido molestias, muy educados. Pero estaban.

Helaas iets te duur voor wat je krijgt van ontbijt en de hygiëne in de b - Gezellig gebouw, mooie ligging in binnen de muren van de oude stad. Er stond een kinderbedje klaar. De suite was mooi ingericht. De suite was ordelijke, maar niet proper. Dan bedoelen we vooral de badkamer. Het ontbijt was ook niet wat we verwacht hadden (een halve snee hesp in twee gesneden, elk 2 mini broodjes, duidelijk gemengde cornflakes van verschillende restjes door elkaar,…)Bij aankomst stond er niemand om ons te ontvangen, we kregen een mail met to do’s. Gelukkig waren er andere gasten om ons te helpen want die mail zat in spam inbox en we kregen telefonisch geen antwoord.

• Bart (9/5): Zalig verblijf in een prachtig pand - Centrale locatie in een rustig straatje, vlakbij de basiliek. Het is een prachtig pand en de kamers zijn zeer smaakvol ingericht met oog voor detail. Lekker ontbijt. In een hotel verwacht je een gezamelijke ontbijtruimte. We waren op familie weekend met 3 gezinnen en het had leuker geweest om samen te kunnen ontbijten. Bij navraag of dat mogelijk was, kon het alleen mits bijbetaling. Het zou beter zijn indien op de booking site duidelijk vermeld wordt, dat ontbijt alleen op de kamer mogelijk is. We misten ook wel een "menselijk" onthaal. Voor aankomst ontvang je een code om binnen te kunnen. Toch wel een beetje onpersoonlijk voor een hotel. Geen fles water op de kamer....

It took us quite some time to complete the booking and enter the accommodation. It was so cold that day, we waited the staff open the door outside.

The rooms were quaint, beautifully presented, and tastefully decorated — every detail felt thoughtful and homely. The lovely scent of the soap and the overall cleanliness made the space feel fresh and welcoming. The breakfast tray delivered in the morning was such a charming touch — beautifully arranged and full of delicious, high-quality items to start the day off right. The location itself is stunning, set in a peaceful part of Boulogne-sur-Mer. Everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out, and we left feeling relaxed and well looked after. All in all, a brilliant stay — stylish, comfortable, and full of small touches that make a big difference. Highly recommended! Parking in the city can be a little tight at times, but there are plenty of spaces around if you don’t mind a short walk (2mins) or if you’re lucky a free space out the front — it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a fantastic stay.
• Maria (8/5): Beautiful setting but facilities/breakfast need more attention - Location - right in the historic center in a beautiful converted mansion. Spacious beautifully decorated rooms. Floor heating in a beautiful bathroom. Perfect setup for a romantic stay/photoshoot Coffee machine did not work and we only discovered in the morning at breakfast. As there is no staff at the property, we had no one to speak to. Yes of course you can call the number but we knew it’d probably take them 30-60 min to react and it would not matter any more for our breakfast. Breakfast is also rather meager considering the price of the accomodation. The fact that it was served in the room was ok though, there’s plenty of space. Also pleas bring extra tea with breakfast, not everyone drinks coffee (and considering coffee machine was broken anyway), so we had absolutelu no other option for breakfast. Very difficult to park on the street, we had an SUV and it’s not for the faint hearted to drive there. Street parking is also quite far from the hotel (could be an issue for senior/people with pramchairs)

• Mark (10/5): - This is a wonderful property in the heart of the Boulogne-sur-Mer old town. Located within the ramparts and under the stunning Basilica, the property is a short walk to a good mix of restaurants, bars and brasseries. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a handy on suite kitchen overlooking the private courtyard. The breakfast served to our door in the morning was outstanding! Harry, our host, was charming and welcoming and keen to ensure we enjoyed our weekend.

• Martine (8/5): Séjour très agréable qui donne envie de revenir. - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner très copieux et servi toujours à l’heure. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’emplacement de l’hôtel, dans le centre historique, ce qui nous a permis d’organiser nos visites essentiellement à pied. Le site est par ailleurs très calme. La baignoire est peu pratique pour des enfants.
• HELEN (8/5): Convenient stay - The property is very well placed - just a few minutes walk from the centre of the walled town. It is clean and comfortable and with it's gated entrance, we felt safe. The breakfast was fabulous and plentiful and it delivered to your door each morning. There is no TV but that did not bother us too much. The beds are comfortable but on the small side. We had a little issue trying to gain access through the courtyard door as it would not release once the key code was inserted but a phone call to the host sorted it out. Our call was answered quickly and with good customer service - don't email if you have a problem.

Pas de personnel visible.

• pierre (8/5): Logement idéalement situé te - Emplacement top dans les remparts de Boulogne. Logement spacieux, propre, lit confortable, petit déjeuner copieux et bon. Le logement était froid lors de notre arrivée. Inimaginable avec un enfant de 2ans. Impossible d’augmenter la température malgré le thermostat sur mur. J’ai envoyé plusieurs messages au propriétaire, réponse : ça prend du temps. Après 2h toujours 14°C. J’ai donc pris l’initiative de forcer la mise en chauffe sur la chaudière ! De plus, beaucoup de bruit dans le couloir jusqu’à Minuit ! Portes qui claque, les escaliers… pas du tout insonorisé ! Les framboises dans la plateau du petit déjeuné étaient moisie.

• Esther (3/5): Zeer teleurstellende ervaring! - De locatie is goed. Parkeer buiten de poort: de straatjes zijn heel nauw en heel druk met auto’s. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding van dit hotel is absoluut niet goed. Na aankomst (via een code) werden we gebeld dat de boiler in de door ons gereserveerde kamer (slaapkamer + zitkamer) stuk was en het was er ijskoud. We kregen een upgrade aangeboden, maar dat bleken 2 slaapkamers met een tussendeur te zijn. Met een douche, geen bad meer en zonder zitkamer. Niet echt een enorme upgrade zoals de medewerker telefonisch had gezegd. Maar het was wel warm. Het rook overal heel (vies) gronderig, het bed is super klein en hard, de stoelen zijn “antiek” en verre van comfortabel om wat langer op te zitten. De verwarming kun je niet afstellen want de thermostaat werkt niet. Het ontbijt lijkt deels voor 1 persoon ipv 2 personen: 1 servet, 1 glas jus d’orange, 1 plakje ham. Verder geen zout voor de eieren, potje jam en honing die door iedereen gebruikt worden en 2 mini kaasjes. Kortom, wat ons betreft absoluut geen aanrader en zeker niet voor die prijs!

• Megan (5/5): Charmante bâtisse MAIS…. - - Emplacement parfait - Superbe bâtisse pleine de charme et authenticité - Check in facile et rapide - Petit déjeuner copieux et varié - Temperature des chambres froide( pas plus de 18 degrés) impossible de faire allumer les radiateurs des chambres mais uniquement salle d’eau. Nous étions avec 2 enfants donc pas top. - Odeurs d’humidité en rentrant dans la chambre , très désagréable. - Insonorisation inexistante - Lumière couloir non automatique donc restée allumée toute la nuit, il y avait tellement de jours entre les portes que nous avions l’impression d’avoir une lumière allumée dans notre chambre - Cornet de douche inexistant, pas pratique. - Le prix de la nuitée excessif . 305€ pour 2 chambres connectées avec 1 salle d’eau uniquement ( situé a l’opposé d’une des 2 chambres) de nouveau pas pratique.

• Michael (6/5): Een teleurstellend verblijf op een goede locatie. - Verwarmde badkamervloer. Goede bedden. Geen televisie, geen koffie te bestellen, zelf maken en machine werkte niet goed. We konden niets krijgen van drinken. Ontbijt werd aan de deur gezet op een bankske. Niet geklopt en gezet. (Terug geen koffie) ontbijt was niet goed, er werden geen opties gegeven en mijn moeder is suikerpatiënt. Stokbrood veel te hard. Spijtig!

• Kerstin (9/5): Ein wunderschönes Refugium - Die Anlage ist liebevoll renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war optisch ansprechend zubereitet und sehr reichhaltig. Die Lage in der Altstadt ist wunderschön, und die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich.
• Thierry (1/5): Je cherchais un bel hébergement pour mon anniversaire et j'ai eu n'importe quoi. - La situation Le prix exorbitant (180€) pour la qualité du service ou plutôt du manque de service. Pas d'accueil, enregistrement automatique pas ou peu d'équipement et lit très mou => mal au dos le matin, tout est au rabais, il est scandaleux que BOOKING accorde encore 8.3 et un pouce levé à cet établissement qui ne vaut pas plus que 2 et 80€ grand maximum. c'est très très bruyant et non insonorisé (nous avons eu droit à des engueulades anglaises jusqu'à minuit). Après avoir lu les commentaires unanimes à ce sujet pourquoi encore retrouver ce marchand de sommeil classé en très bon classement alors qu'il devrait simplement ne pas être retenu sur cette plate forme qui, depuis quelque temps est en baisse de qualité sur ses recommandations. Dommage

The property has been beautifully decorated and furnished and was such a treat to stay in. Breakfast was out of this world. We booked for an overnight stop-off on the way to the Shuttle but will come again for a weekend as a destination in itself. Nothing

• Christo (9/5): - Only feedback would be to add a mini fridge in the rooms, and have a selection option for breakfast, as we had 2 small kids, and they did not eat everything. So if you have a selection beforehand, the portions would be better and less waste.

• Sarah (8/5): Agréable, apaisant - Jolie décoration et propreté Pas de personnel sur place, pas d’organisation, trop brouillon
• John van Krieken (9/5): Ruim en fijn verblijf in het hart van de stad. - De locatie is perfect, alles is ruim binnen loopafstand. De accomodatie is prachtig, ruim en compleet. We hadden een eigen keukentje met eettafel. Douche, bed en ontbijt waren prima in orde. Ik zou het niet echt een tegenvaller noemen, maar je hebt geen contact met iemand van de accomodatie. Inchecken gaat via een code en het ontbijt wordt voor je deur gezet.
• Leon (7/5): - Het waren 2 ruime kamers, huiselijk ingericht en volledig in oude stijl. De gastvrouw was erg aardig en behulpzaam en het ontbijt was ruim voldoende en erg lekker. Het zijn gehorige kamers en de vloer kraakt, maarja wat verwacht je bij zo'n oud pand, wij hadden hier geen last van. Het enige wat we miste was een koelkast op de kamer.
• Raffaele (10/5): Dettagli e charme in una bellissima struttura in pietra della Normandia - Struttura bellissima con cura nei dettagli. Posizione ottima con bellissime viste sia dal cortile interno che dalle camere.
• patrizia (10/5): Bijou - Es war einfach perfekt! Durchdachte, geschmackvolle und liebevolle Einrichtung, ruhige Lage, Innenhof mit Sitzgelegenheit, umfangreiches Frühstück. Sehr empfehlenswert. Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit „Pffff“ Geräusch jede Minute. Ich konnte es nicht lokalisieren. Es hat mich bis um 2h wachgehalten und um 5 wieder geweckt. Leider habe ich es auch durch die geschlossenen Türen gehört, ich glaube, es kam aus dem Badezimmer.
• Rijk (5/5): Prachtige stad om te bezoeken. - De ligging van de accommodatie. Geen tv. Te zachte matrassen. Te weinig opbergruimte, kast in slaapkamer en badkamer. Geen persoonlijk contact. Nachtlawaai van de vogels, slapen met open raam bij gebrek aan airco.
• Alice (10/5): Perfect beautiful location - Its was absolutely stunning. The owner was a lovely, friendly, accommodating host. The breakfast was the best I've had in ages. Delicious, delivered right outside the door. Drinking coffee from the coffee machine in the courtyard was blissful. Thank you for a fabulous stay
• Matt (9/5): Wonderful, extremely comfortable and very relaxing place. - Beautiful place. Gorgeous design and perfect location Only downside was the noise from the family upstairs running around which was very loud. And needed a few more plugs / adapters for lamps / kettle etc.
• Corry (8/5): Best ok ook al hebben we niemand gezien. - Ligging , inrichting , kamers Dat we niemand van de gastheren gezien hebben , alles via mail gekregen hoe we binnen moesten komen met een code ( ook heel onduidelijk ) en hoe we dan op zoek moesten naar de kamer , ontbijt werd voor de deur gezet , … heel raar . Dus als je met vragen zit , 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
• Monique (7/5): - Lokatie en prachtig pand Bedden , gemis van koeler/ fan , slecht door stromende afvoerput douche
• Cinthya (9/5): - Super locatie. Rustgevend. Identiek. Mooi kamer. Goed systeem om in te checken. Gratis parking. Geen gevoel van hotel. Lekker ontbijt. Romantisch voor als koppel.
