Eva (9/5): Very comfortable stay! - The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Shower was great! Good pressure and nice hot water with many towels supplied! The aircon worked very well as did the WiFi. The small kitchenette was very handy. Balcony with hammock was nice to have also! The dock and swimming area, along with kayaks were perfect. Really good breakfast! Friendly staff! Great stay as long as you are happy to taxi to town (80 pesos) Floors were thin so we could hear everything upstairs guests were doing. Luckily everyone was quiet by 11pm ish, so it was really no problem at all. The floors were heavily oiled, but we asked the have the floors wiped down and that helped a lot! We wished there was a suitcase stand in the room.

arista (7/5): Good for those on a budget but we will not return. - The bed was very comfortable. The deck over the water was nice. The staff was very nice and responsive. There was a generator noise throughout the night making sleep difficult. This may have been coming from the property next door. There were no coffee cups in the room even though there was a coffee maker (.was left with coffee grounds in it). The mini fridge was unplugged so we couldn't keep our bottled waters cold as it took several hours to cool down. i got avocado toast for breakfast which was disappointing. The bread was stale and very hard. The side of fruit was mostly old with only a few edible pieces.

Jan (6/5): - It’s directly by the lagoon Some houses has second floor and it’s wooden screechy if anyone lives upstairs. Wasn’t possible to sleep. We asked to change for free rooms without neighbors and in the beginning we were asked for extra fees but after some arguments and etc we were changed for a calmer house. Anyway we were already upset by communication and lost of time. Be aware that if your room is downstairs you will hear absolutely everything from upstairs. If no neighbors it’s great but not guaranteed.

Bellissima vista sulla laguna direttamente dalla camera L'accesso alla laguna come le scalette possono essere migliorate. I pochi lettini disponibili, 4 di nuomero, non hanno il materassino quindi sono inutilizzabili perchè è come sdraiarsi sul pavimento in legno... davvero scomodo

Angélina (8/5): Très très bien - L’emplacement parfait, un peu éloigné du centre mais en 5min en voiture (parfait pour éviter le bruit de la ville), les kayaks à disposition pour aller sur le lagune, le petit déjeuner copieux, la vue magnifique Accès assez compliqué pour arriver à l’hôtel : beaucoup de trous (chemin de terre/ cailloux), peu de places pour se garer sur le parking dans l’hôtel

Alethia Sofia (10/5): Great place, not enough info about the stromatolites - Excellent location, kind staff It´s a shame they don´t have any information in the rooms or when you book, regarding the importance of taking care of the stromatolites in the lagoon. This is crucial and should be definitely mentioned to the guests. It´s their responsibility to inform people who come to visit not to step on the stromatolites and not to wear body lotion or sunscreen. Should be printed and pasted in every room. Also, they did not have extra pillows and the tv remote was not working and they weren´t able to help. Es una pena que no tengan información en los cuartos o cuando reservas, sobre la importancia de cuidad a los estromatolitos en la laguna. Es información crucial y debería definitivamente ser mencionada a los huéspedes. Es su responsabilidad informar a las personas que visitan, que no pisen a los estromatolitos y que no usen cremas o protector solar cuando entren a la laguna. Deberían imprimir la info y pegarla en cada cuarto. No tenían almohadas extras y el control de la tele no funcionaba y no pudieorn ayudar.
Rob (8/5): Great views, lovely location. - The views of the lagoon from the balcony were absolutely beautiful. It was also really nice to have a hammock on the balcony to look at the view. It was really nice to have breakfast included with the room, along with fresh juice each morning. Had a beautiful pontoon that you could walk down to and the use of kayaks to take out. I asked for a hair dryer as the one from the room was missing but this never materialised - however in the grand scheme of things this wasn’t a big deal.

Kasper (2/5): Overpriced and inaccessible - Lake access Overpriced like a luxury resort, but not at all up to such a standard. We decided to go elsewhere and found a nicer hotel for less than 1/6th of the cost. Location is far away, not walkable to anything. There are kayaks and lake access, but that gets boring real quick. Outside the property they are burning their trash. The floors had an oily surface, tainting our children’s clothes.

Kate1168 (8/5): Une adresse correcte si vous pouvez bénéficier d’un logement en 1ere ligne - L’emplacement sur le lac avec le ponton et les kayac Il y a environ 8 logements, certains sont face au lac et d’autres plus en retrait d’où une vision et un avis différent selon l’emplacement. Bien demander quel logement vous est affecté .Nous avons demandé un changement car notre 1er logement n’était pas conforme à l’annonce sur booking Notre 1er logement était en retrait et avec un autre hébergement au dessus de nous où nous entendions tout, donc pas top. Le petit déjeuner proposé sur place est une livraison sommaire type Uber en sachet, servi entre 9h et 11h, ou bien petit déjeuner dans un restaurant de Bacalar à 2km à 8h

Apart from a comfortable bed, the experience fell short. • Customer service was minimal and issues were met with indifference. • Poor sound insulation and noise at night made it difficult to rest. • Strong chemical smell after cleaning and floor still wet. • Stained linens and unstable hot water. • Breakfast was forgotten. Overall, the quality didn’t match the price, and we wouldn’t recommend in the current state.

Philippe (1/5): Séjour affreux pour des vacances, à éviter absolument - Nous avons juste aimé le bord de la lagune et le fait de pouvoir prendre un kayak, et encore, très lourd à sortir de son logement ! Pas de coussin disponible sur des transats en bois très durs. Grosse musique quand nous sommes arrivés, qui a duré toute la nuit, rien n'a pu être fait pour nous reloger au plus calme malgré notre demande. Surtout qu'il y en avait des libres!!!Le logement pas très propre, je pense que le sol n'était même pas balayé. Beaucoup trop cher pour ces cabañas non isolées. Vers 2h du matin comme on ne dormait pas, quelqu'un est arrivé au dessus de nous, on entendait tout. Vous êtes proches de la grande route, on entend les camions très fort ! Petit déjeuner qui ne peut pas être pris sur place avant 9h30 /10halors que nous avions rendez-vous pour un tour en bateau à 9h. Petit déjeuner possible en ville plus tôt mais il faut une voiture, vous êtes à 15 mn. Un séjour écourté, nous sommes allés dormir dans un hôtel boutique en ville, le bonheur pour 2x moins cher, Casa Chukum. A éviter absolument, rien ne sera fait pour vous si vous avez des problèmes. Le Manque de professionnalisme de la direction que j'ai eu au téléphone à 23h. Le manque de propreté. Pas possible de boire un verre sur place alors que vous êtes loin de tout.
Liebewein (3/5): Keine Empfehlung. Preis Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht überein. - Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht, die übereinander waren, daher konnten wir gewisse Dinge feststellen. Es gab kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen weder im Zimmer im OG noch im UG, Frühstück kam nicht zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt an. Es wurde am Vortag extra gefragt, wann wir gerne das Frühstück serbiert hätten. Ausgemacht wurde 9 Uhr. Um 9.30 und 10 Uhr gingen wir zum Rezeptionisten und fragten nach, der wussten jedoch wieder nichts und konnte uns nicht weiterhelfen. Es wird kommen war die Antwort. Ein weiterer Punkt, den ich hier ansprechen möchte ist die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer. Man konnte von UG jedes Wort mitverstehen und auch das UG konnte jeden Tritt vom OG mehr als spürbar und hörbar wahrnehmen. Im OG hingegen wackelte das gesamte Haus bei Tritten. Also wer empfindlich ist, sollte es lieber vorher wissen. Das Auto im Hof zu parken ist auch so eine Sache. Es bedarf Glück, dass man wieder rauskommt und den passenden Inhaber des Autos findet der einen zuparkt. Die Rezeptionisten helfen dabei nicht wirklich. Hätten wir im Vorhinein gewusst wie der Zustand dieser Cabanas sind, hätten wir sie zu diesem stolzen Preis niemals gebucht.

James (9/5): This was my third stay here this year - always a pleasure, I will be back. - Breakfast was great especially the fresh juices. The kitchen facilities in the room are a bit basic and for example there was no electrical socket in reach of the burner plate.

Charlotte (8/5): Cabane pleine de charme avec une vue magnifique et un cadre reposant - Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette cabane pleine de charme avec une vue splendide sur la lagune. L’endroit est vraiment calme et reposant, parfait pour se déconnecter. L’accès direct à la lagune avec un petit ponton est un vrai plus, tout comme le petit déjeuner, savoureux et copieux, même s’il est servi dans un restaurant à 5 minutes en voiture. En revanche, certains points sont à améliorer. L’entrée vers l’hôtel est assez compliquée, le chemin est très boueux et plein de trous, ce qui rend l’accès difficile en voiture. L’hôtel est aussi un peu éloigné du centre, il faut donc systématiquement prendre la voiture pour se déplacer. Côté propreté, nous avons trouvé les serviettes et le hamac tachés, ce qui est dommage. Enfin, la salle de bain mériterait un petit rafraîchissement, car elle est un peu vétuste.

Slechts enkele stoelen aan het meer voor iedereen, en ook geen andere vrije ruimte daar. Enkel met een eigen wagen of taxi bereikbaar en geen winkel of restaurant in de buurt

Ivan (6/5): Ni volvería ni lo recomiendo - Las vistas. Por ser justos, el hotel es bonito y tiene buenas vistas pero la limpieza deja mucho que desear. Nos encontramos una bola de pelos en la ducha y ya veis cómo estaba el fregadero de la cocina. No hay ningún tipo de bar/servicio en el hotel y está a unos 5 km del pueblo. Si te toca una cabaña encima, el ruido es espantoso porque todo cruje. Además, los precios de las excursiones desde el hotel son bastante más caras. Lo que en el pueblo cuesta 350 pesos, allí ronda los 500, 550. Yo no volvería ni lo recomiendo.
Juan (7/5): - Ubicación y concepto del alojamiento Limpieza. El suelo estaba sucio, recien encerado, pero sin haberse limpiado bien antes. No nos hicieron las camas, ni nos cambiaron las toallas. Se supone que un alojamiento de estas características tendría que dar este servicio.

jeanne (8/5): Très joli - Jolies cabanes, celle prévue pour une famille est très bien. Accès au lagon et aux kayak super chouette , bons petits déjeuners (même si quelques erreurs dans les commandes), personnel super disponible et sympa Il manque de chaises longues au bord du lagon, il faut se lever avant 8h pour espérer en avoir ! Il pourrait avoir des sièges sur les balcons également pour pouvoir se poser et profiter de la vue. L’entrée de l’hôtel n’est vraiment pas engageante !

Van Hove (5/5): Hotel Nul et cher pour les prestations et la situation 👎 mais personnel au top - La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel et la propreté des chambres Petit dej inclus mais on ne vous le dit pas à l’avance mais l’hôtel n’est dite d’aucun bar pour ne serait-ce que boire un verre ou un cocktail en fin de journée ce qui dans ce lieu serait pourtant fort agréable … et le petit déjeuner est en fait soit servi dans un restaurant situé à 8 min de l’hôtel si vous vous levez tôt pour profiter du calme du lagon et que vous n’avez pas de véhicule pour vous déplacer vous devrez alors attendre 10h pour que le restaurant en question vous livre votre petit déjeuner commande la veille… seul problème je me demande comment nous allons pouvoir déjeuner dans notre chambre sachant que nous n’avons aucune table ni chaises en suffisance …. Ensuite le choix des matériaux des cabanes en bois huile et le toit en tôle orange… avec des murs en bétons de part et d’autre de l’hôtel…Ne se fondent pas du tout dans le paysage, vraiment peu charmant… alors certes… wifi et tv dans la chambre mais on ne vient pas chercher cela a Bacalar…L’hôtel ne se situe pas du tout sur la plus belle partie du lagon et en définitif le prix est très excessif pour le charme et les services non proposés par l’hôtel ….

Lauren (10/5): Peaceful, beautiful and comfortable! - It was peaceful and secluded but still close to Centro. My room was spacious with a ver comfortable bed and everything I needed. The breakfast was perfect with fresh natural juice and the toast cake with some really good homemade jam! The lagoon is stunning and it’s the perfect pier to watch the sunrise! Nothing really! More a tip, that if you don’t have a car you’ll need to make sure you bring your own food or order delivery which the hotel provided a list of restaurants for.
Gelu5cotoc (9/5): Relaxing and enjoyable experience. - Superb location, quit and cozy. Access is easy and far enough from the street noise. Facility is new and the accommodation is in individual cabanas with small kitchen and small fridge. Access to the laguna will need furthre development, not sufficient for all the guests.
