• BaronOfWigan (5/5): Could have been so much better with a few changes - Easy to deal with host Property was dirty Cupboards and rooms were full of useless junk. Kitchen drawers full of broken cutlery. Not enough comfy seating, could benefit from an extra couch. Attic space could be utilised better, put a bed in there? Garden was unusable, needs tidying and seating. Boiler very noisy. Rough neighborhood.

• Julius (2/5): Horrific, do not recommend, please avoid making the same mistake as us and invest in a better place! - Free cookies were nice, there was also a roof which is also quite nice to have, apart from that nothing more to add. In addition, the manager was very polite and nice, unfortunately, that did not reflect on the property Quite a lot. First of all, it is apparent that the property has been neglected for many years and the apartment has not been cleaned for a while. The cleanliness was nonexistant: carpets stained with vomit, lots of dust, bathtub filthy (with a strange smell of what is probably a dead racoon), sheets stained, chewing gum left above the bed, sticky floors, dishes sticky and unclean, unusable utensils (many broken and dirty), garden basically abandoned, unmowed lawn, garbage all over the place, a strange red liquid in the box in the middle of the garden. The basic hygiene is non existent, not enough sheets for all guests: after contacting the manager, she told us to get the clean ones from the attic ourselves. What we found there was truly horrible - a lot of bags all over the place with stained sheets which all were not usable anymore. Half of my friends had to freeze during the nights in order to avoid getting infections from uncleaned sheets. Manager went to the property during our visit to check up on things, yet she did not notice something out of the ordinary, we had to wait and change out plans to give her the keys.

È stato fornito un unico asciugamano per ognuno Mancano appoggi in bagno o nelle camere.

• Silke (1/5): DON'T BOOK THIS FLAT!!! - Wir wussten, dass das Haus etwas außerhalb liegt. Die Anbindung ins City Center ist gut. 1. Jedes Zimmer, die Teppichböden, das Geschirr und Besteck, Kühlschrank, Backofen waren sehr schmutzig. Die Handtücher waren eckelerregend dreckig, auf den Bettlaken und Kopfkissenbezügen waren Flecken und Haare (siehe Fotos). 2. Duschkopf, Kühlschrank, Badezimmertür waren kaputt. 3. Das WLAN funktioniert nicht zuverlässig. 4. Die Heizung wurde erst nach unserer Reklamation eingeschaltet. 5. In der Küche gab es keine Trockentücher, kein Küchenmesser, kein Sieb, keine Schere, keinen Korkenzieher. Auf Anfrage sagte die Vermieterin, das gehöre nicht zum "standard requirement" und wenn wir ein Küchenmesser haben wollten, sollten wir uns eins kaufen. 6. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war schwierig: zwar schickte sie umgehend eine Cleaning Lady, die sich für all die Unannehmlichkeiten entschuldigte (unaufgefordert unsere Sachen aufräumte, aber nur ein frisches Handtuch da ließ), gleichzeitig warf die Vermieterin uns vor, wir hätten die Dusche kaputt gemacht und - falls nötig - würde sie uns die Klempnerkosten in Rechnung stellen. 7. Die Vermieterin ist während unseres Aufenthaltes unangekündigt ins Haus gekommen (wir waren zu dem Zeitpunkt nicht da), was wir als unerlaubten Eingriff in unsere Privatsphäre werten. 8. Auf unsere Frage nach (preislichem) Entgegenkommen, reagierte sie uneinsichtig mit "The flat is at good pricing"... Das sehen wir anders: die Unterkunft kann unserer Meinung nach so nicht vermietet werden. Abgesehen von all den genannten Makeln, ist sie lieblos eingerichtet. Wir haben uns überhaupt nicht wohl gefühlt und wären gerne umgezogen.

• Michael (5/5): Spacious, nice kitchen, not for elderly people - Spacious Place. Okay if you arrive by car. But be prepared to haul your luggage 500meters up a hill if you arrive by public transportation. The place needs some attention by the hosts: the bathroom is a health hazard with extremely slippery polished floor tiles and a shower fixture detaching from its anchors when you try to hold on to it. The light switch of the steep stairway doesn’t work - I had to use my phone’s light. The upstairs bedrooms have no chairs or tables, whatsoever. To sum it up: it’s a soulless place good for sleeping - but you wouldn’t want to spend any time here.

• Gema (5/5): Inmobiliario demasiado básico y en mal estado algunas cosas. - La.cercania un tren 30 min directo a Londres centro y andar 15min. Había tiendas cerca. Por precio es de lo más barato pero calidad mala. El inmobiliario de la casa en mal estado medio roto , todo muy básico para lavabos y para cocinar. Con moqueta sucia.Es una lástima porque cuidándolo estaría muy bien
• Carlos (3/5): Sorry but not the best place - The location was good and having the parking spot was a plus The house is not in a very good shape and it wasn't very clean, the photos show how the kitchen sink was when we got there, and the floor was also with dirt on it. The sheets were full of wrinkles.

• Fábio (10/5): Exceptional - We just needed a place to sleep and store bagages. For the price, this place fit those needs perfectly. Beds are comfy, location is close to bus stop and train station. Only negative was the almost unusable internet.

• Hannah (6/5): Bromley house - Price for our stay was reasonable for London. Transport links would've been good, except the weekend we were there the station was closed and so were some of the bus stops. The welcome basket was a nice touch. Beds were comfortable. Towels were clean and fresh. Owners of the property kept in touch through text and popped over to bring us coffee pods. The The bathroom looks lovely, but an attachment to hook the shower head onto would make it even better as hair washing is tricky without. When we arrived we had to vacuum as the carpets hadn't been cleaned up to the walls. The vacuum wasn't very effective and could do with being replaced. Several of the kitchen cupboard door handles were loose or came off in your hand. This is a simple fix I would've sorted if I'd had a screwdriver with me.The toilet looked like the base seal had gone and had been leaking. The spa bath had a bad standing water smell around the bubble outlets, so we didn't use it, but it made washing hair over the bath quite unpleasant. The sofa bed is rock hard, which is fine if you're not planning to sit long, but I wouldn't have wanted to sleep on it. The welcome basket included a packet of opened biscuits, which felt odd.

They allowed us to park in front of the house before check-in free of charge. Thanks again—I really appreciated your availability via messages! - The house is well located, about a 20-minute walk from the train station (There's also a bus line to get there). If you want to go to London’s city center, it takes approximately 30-45 minutes. - The neighborhood is great and quiet at night. - The house is well-equipped with useful appliances, including a washing machine, TV, and air fryer. - Checking in was really easy, as the key was located next to the door—the same for check-out. - The welcome package was great. Spending two days in this house was a great experience. As a French family, we really enjoyed discovering a typical English home. Thanks! - However, the carpets (especially the red carpet) really need to be cleaned. We weren’t comfortable walking on them. The same issue applied to the bedroom, where there were dirt stains on the floor. - None of our beds were ironed, and our pillows were crumpled, which raised concerns about cleanliness (The bed were cleans, and smelled the fresh laundry). - In my opinion, the beds were soft; this can be a pro or a con, depending on personal preference. - The bath was really complicated to use and seemed to be broken. It was difficult to get tempered water—it was either too cold or boiling hot. - During the night, our rooms were very hot, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. To conclude, the house is great for a short stay, but it needs some improvements to be truly enjoyable. Even with the mentioned flaws, we consider our trip to London a success—we had a great time without stress. Thanks again to our host!

• Ludwig (8/5): Pleasant stay in South East London - There was plenty of space for a family, and the location was in a quiet calm area, and everything felt safe. The host had set a table for the guests, which was very lovely, in case they were going to dine in on arrival. The host was also accommodating and helpful, and had made sure the apartment was warm upon arrival. The rooms also heated up quickly. All the carpet needs more thorough vacuum cleaning, which would require a stronger vacuum cleaner in the property. There was no easy means of washing up dishes, like a sponge or a brush, but there was a drying rack and dishwashing liquid. We were also unable to find bin liners. The kitchen has fake drawers, which was a little confusing, but easily managed. A drain pipe in the back yard of the property isn't connected properly, so when someone washes their hands in the toilet, it runs down along the outside of the building. This might need repairing to keep the façade in good condition. The light bulb in the master bedroom was very weak, and the small table lamps in the same room were missing bulbs. The internet (WiFi) was indeed accessible, but very slow. A speedtest gave 2.01 Mbps in download speed and 0.13 Mbps in upload speed.

• James (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent for the purpose of our trip (visiting family in Crystal Palace) and the price was very fair. Parking was on the pavement outside the house and there was always a space. The road was very quiet at night. The house was well heated. A nice welcoming touch from the host was biscuits and bottled water provided.

• Favour (9/5): Superb - My family of 4 stayed at this property. It was nice and very comfortable and worth the price. It was easy to locate and had comfortable parking in front of the house. The owner was nice and allowed us to check out 2hrs after 🤣💃. My kids kept playing in the flat as it is family friendly. I recommend if you are visiting around this area.
