• Mark (6/5): Nice area to visit - The view was good. Pool was good. The hill into the place is a killer. Especially if you have to do it 3 times a day. It's always noisy. I was in 1 of the top units in a block of 10, and the noise carries through the building. Wifi was terrible

• lisa (4/5): - The floor tiles We arrived back to our room and the door had been left wide open after the maintenance staff had been in to access the loft. After complaining, the staff's answer was "it's OK, everything is on camera". This doesn't stop the heat and every mosquito in Kata having a party in our room then feasting on us all night. We are travelling around the world and all our belongings were in the room. Anyone could have walked in. I could go into not being given the correct room, the dirty bathroom, smelly towels etc but this is a budget hotel. After traveling for 5 months this is the first time I've had to wait for a room inspect to be carried out before receiving my deposit of 2000bht. Nothing in the room is worth that.

• maz (9/5): I would stay again. - The room i booked was a standard room then when I arrived I was upgraded by booking .com to an apartment with a kitchenette nice gesture but i didnt like it, it was further down the hill away from the pool in another completely different building I was stuck in the corner with no view it was very dark & dingy, the kitchenette was basically just a sink & microwave more, than the lovely room i was moved in to the room I actually booked right next to the pool which was lovely i had everything i needed kettle, coffee etc water, fridge, air con. I am now so glad of the noisy 5 men above me in the first room because of them i asked to be moved honestly it was further up the hill but i didn't mind that it was good exercise, but it was like a different place altogether i extended my stay the staff were very good very helpful & helped me get a grab bike to the airport. My first room, luckily, only in there one night. Noisy people, but the staff were very prompt to move me.

Scruffy, dirty and smelt horrendous in both rooms we booked. The bathroom looked like a murder scene! I would not have stayed here if you paid me to! Never seen a hotel like it. Vile!

• Sophie (7/5): Lovely holiday, recommend if you don't work online, I would stay again if the Wifi is improved :) - The property itself and location were good - we opted for pool access and I'm so glad we did, even though it almost doubled the price. It meant that me and my son could nip down and up to and from the room whenever needed conveniently without having to packup our lives each time, or worry about drowning. The pool was great, the water temperature was perfect, and it had a shallow area perfect for kids to jump off and practise swimming. The location was just a 5-10 minute walk from anything you wanted really - shops, restaurants, a 711 just at the bottom of the hill, beach around a 10 minute walk. We rented a bike so that we could venture further and check out some sites and beaches, I recommend doing that, as we much preferred Kata Noi beach to Kata beach. The staff were super friendly and as helpful as possible, even though we had a few hiccoughs especially in the first few days. The main issue for me was the Wifi. On our first day, despite us paying for a much more expensive room, the signal was poor, to an extent that I couldn't get my work done. I asked reception if they had a Wifi Extender we could put near the room to help, and they said they would do what they could which was nice. We went out, but upon our return discovered that the Wifi was completely down. We had to wait a full day for the company to come and fix it, so I couldn't do any of my work as my own 5G isn't sufficient for more work. One of the deciding factors for me when choosing that place was the Wifi because it had so many great reviews, but realistically, I think the people who voted high were just using it for social media, because it was fine for that. Anyway, the wifi was eventually fixed, but then after that, still not good enough to use. Pre8am in the morning and post 8pm at night it was fine, most likely because everyone else was sleeping or out. Considering it's low season and most of the rooms were not occupied, I dread to think what it would be like in the high season. So, during the day I couldn't get any work done at all, and had to pay for an extra 30gb on my phone to even be able to get anything done, but my phone operator restricted it as they dont' like customers using wifi hotspot. So that really affected the holiday as I was stressed due to falling behind on my work, and it wasn't ideal taking my laptop out with us as it was difficult to carry on the motorbike/to the beach and so on. So that was it really, we loved everything else. The room features were a bit dated - the lamp behind the bed didn't have a switch so to turn it on or off you had to screw and unscrew the lightbulk, and the kitchen area had a bad ant problem - the first morning my electric toothbrush plus was covered in ants, we didn't even leave any food anywhere - it definitely needs to be treated.

The staff was incredibly helpful with everything I needed including laundry, and a motorbike rental. The bungalow and pool were very clean and felt like home. Again, could not have been better! • Nienke (9/5): Zo wil je Thailand beleven! - KATAONSEA herinnerde mij aan de vakanties naar Thailand met mijn ouders. Bungalows mét een zwembad, vlak bij het strand en met alle gemakken voorzien maar dan wel met de Thaise sfeer van 25 jaar geleden. En geen super moderne uitstraling maar precies wat ik mijn kinderen wilde laten zien en hoe ik Thailand nu weer wilde ervaren. De ligging is super, je moet alleen een klein heuveltje op. Dat is natuurlijk geen probleem, tot dat je dochter van 4 denkt dat ze dat ook op slippers kan rennen. Dat gaf een schaafwond. Maar wij hebben nu wel mooi gespierde benen en onze dochter wat meer wijsheid!

Staff was quite nice beach, cafes, shops - everything is nearby There were old furniture inside the rooms, outdated interior Also… their manager (I don’t know his name) - The short guy might be Indian was not customer's oriented, his face was always tired or something like that. Once I asked staff to sell or give me 1 teabag but he was angry and forbade them to give. But I think it’s not a big deal to sell/give me it.

Mainostettiin juuri remontoituna, meidän asumus ei todellakaan ollut. Parvekkeen kaide heilui, matkaa maahan useampi metri. Ei palohälytintä. Saftybox pieni irtonainen laatikko, helposti varastettavissa.

Veldig bra aircondition og kjøleskap. De som jobbet med "roomcleaning" var veldig blide og hyggelige. Til prisen kunne ikke så mye vært bedre.

Och läget var katastrof en så brant väg upp till poolen och receptionen, inte en chans att vi äldre som inte är friska orkar gå upp för den vägen, taxin jag kom med från flygplatsen kunde knappt ta sig upp.

• Berhan (7/5): Angenehm - Es war zentral, man musste zwar einen kleine Berg hoch laufen, aber ist alles im Rahmen. Am Pool haben die Göste sich besoffen und somit konnte ich nicht mit Kind zum Pool. Das Hotel hat sich dann dafür gekümmert, aber leider haben sich die Göste nicht dran gehalten.

• Hector (1/5): Worst hotel in my life. - Absolutely nothing. Everything. This property uses incredibly misleading photos and completely ruined our honeymoon. The hotel is up a massive, steep hill not mentioned in the listing. They demanded a 2,000 THB cash deposit upon arrival. The staff was completely disorganized, making us haul our own luggage in 35°C heat for 15 minutes to find a room outside the main hotel complex. ​The room was appalling: filthy walls, barely working AC, rock-hard spring beds, and a view of local trash. The shower had no pressure and no hot water; we had to bathe with the toilet hose. After getting Booking.com support involved, they moved us to a second room up an exterior staircase covered in trash. The WiFi in the new room was non-existent, the bed was just as painfully stiff, and the running water stopped entirely again the following day. When we asked to cancel the remaining 3 nights and get a refund due to the lack of basic running water, the hotel refused. Completely unacceptable conditions for a paid stay.
• Jonas (3/5): Absolut nicht das Geld wert - Gute, zentrale Lage. Von den Bungalows hat man eine gute Erreichbarkeit. Zwischen zwei Stränden gelegen und super nah an 7/11, Bars, Restaurants und Massagestudios. Schimmel im Zimmer, dreckige Bettwäsche und Handtücher, viel Staub im Zimmer, ein veralteter Röhrenfernseher, der nicht funktioniert hat. Bei den Schwiegereltern im Zimmer musste erst ein Sanitär kommen, da kein Wasser lief. Die "Dusche" in unserem Zimmer war katastrophal. Sie hing an einem viel zu kurzen Schlauch und ließ sich nicht richtig befestigen. Das Schloss von der Tür klemmte, sodass diese nur mit Gewalt geschlossen werden konnte.

Lasten sänkyä ei ollut huoneessa vaikka piti olla ja ylimääräisen tyynyn saaminen lapselle oli hankalaa, koska henkilökunta oli todella erikoinen. Tänne ei kannata pienen lapsen kanssa mennä. Maksoimme kuudesta yöstä, mutta lähdimme ensimmäisen jälkeen pois. Sängyt olivat huonoja.
• Ioana (2/5): Do not recommend - Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. When we entered the room, both the bed covers and the towels were dirty. We had an extra bed, but it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on, as it did not have a proper mattress—just an improvised sunbed cushion. The coffee cups from our previous days were not cleaned, and when we asked for them to be washed, only one was cleaned. In the bathroom, the window glass was very dirty, and due to its design, it could not be fully closed. Additionally, we experienced serious issues with the water pressure. The pictures on Booking did not match the reality at all. The host argued that they cannot update the photos every month, but that is not fair to guests. I am giving this review because I hope the staff will take it in consideration and will improve this aspect. As a pro is close to many shops, restaurants and the sea.

Не понравилось практически все: (прочтите до конца и сверьте мой отзывы со всеми отзывами, пожалуйста) 1) администратор индус. Хамит при разговоре о решение базовых проблем, как только начинает просить нормально убираться в номере, помочь решить проблему с матрасом и так далее. 2) очень очень очень жесткий матрас. Перечитайте все отзывы, пожалуйста, я не прочитал и мы мучались 10 дней на ужасной кровати. Индус не дал одеяло и наматрасник, чтобы это как-то исправить. 3) плохая уборка в номере. Весь песок всегда остается на месте. 4) персонал не знает ни одного слова на английском языке. 5) я умолял отпустить нас раньше и вернуть часть денег и естественно нам отказали. Прошу, умоляю, не бронируйте тут. Вы испортите себе отпуск. Я был в 22 странах в разных гостинацах и за эти деньги это худшее, что я видел. В подтверждение моих слов прочтите отзывы на google maps. Я написал только правду.

Die andere Gäste aus neben stehendem Bungalow hatten auch technische Probleme. - Einzig was gut ist die Lage von Unterkunft Wir haben kleinere Bungalows mit weniger Ausstattung als gebucht bekommen. Einige Sachen waren nicht in dem Zimmer, aber standen in Beschreibung und sind erst nach Beschwerden bei Kundenservice gebraucht (z.B. Fernseher, Haartrockner und …). Großer Loch unter der Eingangstür ist erst nach nächster Beschwerde bei Kundenservice zugemacht, aber zu diesem Zeitpunkt kleine Reptilien und Ungeziefer haben uns nachts ein paar mal besucht. Unerträgliche Geruch von Kanalisation in unserem Bungalow, besonders nachts. Von Unterkunft war keine wirkende Maßnahme durchgeführt um Gestank weg zu bekommen, außer Raumduft, der nur eine kurze Zeit wirkt. Auf einige Sachen wie schwache Wasserstrahl aus dem Wasserhahn oder nie richtig geputzten Boden, oder Stromausfall wenn man warmes Wasser an macht machen wir die Augen zu. Nach eine Woche haben wir Aufgegeben zu kämpfen, weil es nichts gebracht hat und Unterkunft hat uns keine andere Bungalow gegeben, auch nicht was wir gebucht haben.

Bei meine Mama war ok,wir hatten insgesamt 3 Bungalows gehabt, die Rest zwei ,war wirklich schlimm,jeden Morgen sind wir mit Rückenschmerzen aufgestanden. Sauberkeit, Boden waschend die überhaupt nicht,Ich musste selber zeigen wie die sollten es machen.

Pokoje minimalistyczne,ale ze sprawna klimą. Bezpieczniki są za tarasem na ścianie przy zejściu po prawej stronie,podczas kapieli wywaliło dwa razy,poradzilismy sobie sami wystarczy właczyć. Rezerwacja przez Booking ,gdzie nie było informacji o kaucji,na miejscu wpłata depozytu lub paszport w depozyt. Osoby z ograniczeniami ruchowymi mogą mieć problem z dotarciem,stroma droga pod góre.

We stayed 6 nights - I had a very sore back by the time I left. We were at the bottom of the hill- the rooms were more like hotel rooms than bungalows. They were large and clean with a great balcony. Unfortunately, they are close to the properties washing machines and were noisy with the machines being put on early in the morning
