- Susan (10/5): Perfect large and comfortable apartment for a large group. - Large, airy, in the best position to explore Mile End and Le Plateau. The apartment is perfect for a large group, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space, 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen and relaxing area. For a stay of 10 days we didn’t want to eat out every night and the facilities to cater for dinner etc were perfect. We also had plenty of space just to relax without feeling on top of each other. The hosts were very helpful and allowed us to check in early as we had arrived in the morning from the UK. Excellent communication and a thoroughly enjoyable stay. N/A

- Ian (8/5): - This is fantastic location for exploring the city. It is a great place to be with friends/family with a lot of space, two bathrooms (which is key) and laundry. It was warm and we were totally comfortable the whole time. The apartment has normal wear and tear. The photos make it seem a bit brighter and cleaner. There was one roll of toilet paper when we arrived and no coffee/tea pods.

- Douglas (10/5): Nice apartment up a few floors - This was our first visit to Montreal. We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It has three nice bedrooms and two baths. There’s a full laundry inside the apartment. The street that the apartment is on is very convenient having multiple markets nearby and a short walking distance to both are Fairmount Bagel and St-Viateur Bagel. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance. The only thing is that this apartment is on the very top floor without elevators. Every day we would have to walk up approximately four flights of stairs. if you want to use the subway, it is about a 20 minute walk from the apartment. We did this a couple times but in freezing weather it was a little bit too far. We made more use of Uber to get us into the old part of town, which is not in walking distance. I would stay here again, if I was still able to walk up for flight upstairs. Four flights of stairs. The dresser was broken for the first couple days. WiFi did not work in the rear bedroom.

- Kerry (8/5): We enjoyed our stay at Les Lofts and would happily choose it again. - The apartment is bright, clean, and spacious, and we found the beds very comfortable. We really liked the big kitchen island. Noise was not a problem (we heard the pitter patter of little feet racing across the floor above each morning, but we didn’t mind). It’s a great location, with a supermarket, pharmacy, and SAQ in the same block, as well as good bakeries and restaurants just a few streets away. The neighbourhood felt friendly and safe. We walked to Petite Italie one evening (a 15-20 min walk), and enjoyed the terrasse of nearby Croissanterie Figaro. It’s possible to find free street parking on the weekend, and we were able to find overnight parking on av. Laurier at a reasonable rate. Both AC and heat were blasting when we arrived. Using the remote, I raised the AC setting from a frigid 65F (!) to 74F, and shut off the heat. We kept the AC on in the kitchen overnight as Montreal was experiencing exceptionally warm temperatures for early October. The next morning, the radiator in the kitchen was back on. I left the owners a voice message (using the phone number I was given in my welcome email), but never heard back. In the end, we concluded that the only way to keep the radiator from switching back on, was to turn the AC off, so this is what we did unless it got uncomfortably hot. We were there for 4 nights, and prepared a half dozen meals. There were no kitchen staples whatsoever, which surprised us. We would have been happy to spend a few extra dollars per day to have such basics provided as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, tea, sugar, and plastic wrap. There were enough glasses and dishes, and kitchenware was adequate; however, a bread knife, clean dish cloth (or a new sponge), and a second tea towel would be helpful. Each couple was provided with two good quality bath towels, but just one hand towel. Eventually I was able to find two additional hand towels in a linen closet.

- Matthew (7/5): A wonderful place to stay once management takes care of cleaning and repairs. Great apartment & area - A real mixed bag with our visit. The apartment is really great and in a fabulous area. There were problems with cleanliness and the cooking pans having their non stick surface chipped and loose.... they were addressed by the hosts remarkably quickly as our stay was over Christmas. The areas I pinpointed were cleaned and a brand new set of pans delivered.... We were able to cook as planned for our Christmas dinner. The area around the apartment is great, shops, a supermarket and a short walk to numerous restaurants. The apartment overall is really great... two of the three bedrooms are fabulous and the bathrooms are great. We ended up with hesitant good feelings about staying here. With management going in and supervising cleaning and repairs this would be an absolutely fabulous place to stay for your visit. I'd recommend to you after it's known to have had these issues sorted out. Cleanliness was a major problem when we arrived.... Hair on the bedsheets in our room and on the floors of the bathroom. Shower cubicle was filthy. The cleaning team really were not doing their work and spoilt the stay. I have to say the hosts did get them back in to tidy up... but there were many places that needed attention that were left and rather than continue to whinge and chase up I left it. Hosts really need to go and check the cleaning team are doing their job.... the muck build up wasn't just from one booking's visit. A wardrobe was loose from the wall, on opening the door it started to fall on me, I caught it and propped it up. The backroom with fire door there just weren't up to the standard of everywhere else.... We never really got the place warm... numerous thermostats on the wall didn't allow adjustment to hotter temperatures. As mentioned the pans were in a terrible state, these were replaced with a new set of great quality... top marks for sorting that out for us, Thank you! Balcony window needed catch fixing For fairness I have to say here that the hosts were brilliant in getting some of these things sorted and this enabled us to have a good stay. Messages were answered quickly and issues sorted out. Top marks for that.

- Danielle (10/5): Cozy and modern in Mile End. - I loved the space. It was comfortable and had everything that I needed. I visited with my family. It was close to cafes, and restaurants. It was about 15-20 minute drive to Centre Bell.

Taille du logement agréable. Nous aurions aimé changer mais la réservation n'était pas remboursable. C'était sale : vaisselle que nous avons dû relaver avec du vinaigre, bouilloire que nous n'avons pas pu nettoyer et qu'il a fallu changer, hotte à cuisiner pleine de graisse, salles de bain moisies, pièges à fourmi dans tous les coins et datant de plusieurs semaines, éponge et torchon à vaisselle comme moisis, etc. En informant l'hébergement, ils ont fait un passage express (10 minutes) pour nettoyer la hotte et la bouilloire uniquement. Il faudrait également investir dans de la literie pour avoir de vraies housses de duvet par exemple. A fuir!

Easy walk to lots of neighborhood restaurants, bars, groceries & pharmacies and to Mount Royal. Nearest Metro station (Laurier) is 0.9 miles away & a safe, easy walk. For long-term parking, I recommend De Gaspe Parking (only $5 for weekends overnight & $17 maximum for each weekday overnight) - it's a covered garage parking in an office building nearby.

Showers had both rain and handheld devices. The handheld devices did not sit firmly in the sliders. Our friends would have preferred a duvet cover plus sheet.

- Ivor (7/5): Loved the neighborhood; comfortable apartment despite shortcomings in the facilities. . - Mile End neighborhood is wonderful multicultural, interesting, great food etc While it is generally comfortable, the apartment is not accurately described in the listing. (“City views” is the opposite of “basement” even though, for a lower level flat it has good lighting). Also some wiring is exposed (uninsulated!) in the kitchen and a couple of wall fittings are loose or open . The air-conditioning/heating instructions are complicated so we had to clean up dripping from the wall AC unit until we figured out the heating was on. Finally, i think some some basic kitchen supplies should include salt, pepper, and a grater.

The Kureig coffee maker initially did not work and upon notification to the property managers the unit was replaced within hours. Great location for walking to dining and stores in a safe neighbourhood. Plenty of room in the apartment and a washer and dryer were useful. Three floor walk up was ok but anyone with mobility may find it difficult. The floor mats on the landings seemed longer than needed so overhung the stairs. They could be a tripping hazard.

- Hawkins (10/5): Overall our stay was great! - It was bright & clean very important and there was plenty of room for myself my spouse and my father. The check in check out process was super simple. Beds were comfy It’s walking distance to many restaurants and the delicious famous Bagel shop. We enjoyed a bagel and a tasty cappuccino often. The front entrance has a large drop off from the living room I would add some sort of caution to this area we put a chair in front of the door there to alert people of that drop off. It could use washcloths for bathing and hand towels for the kitchen? Nothing serious at all

J'ai pu avoir une place au parking derrière qui était top. Rien relatif au logement, juste j'étais au 3eme étage sans ascenseur donc c'était un peu compliqué avec les valises.
- Chizoba (9/5): We will be glad to rent again if we ever want to vacay up north again. Highly recommended! - The interior was exactly as displayed in the pictures, luxurious and comfortable. The only con was the parking situation. There is not that much parking space, but the nice staff was able to fix it for us after a few days.

- Albert (9/5): Lo recomendaría sin dudar - El apartamento esta muy birn decorado. Con mucho gusto. Es facil de encontrar y entrar. El anfitrión nos dió todas las facilidades y nos resovió las dudas que tuvimos Todo correcto. Tal vez la limpieza de exteriores y de los cristales se podría mejorar
- MOUBARAK (9/5): Superbe - Appartement spacieux , confortable, bien équipé. L'équipe est très réactive, en arrivant la porte coulissante de la chambre fonctionnait mal, nous les avons contacté ils sont venus réparer le lendemain. Attention , une des 3 chambres ( celle avec le petit lit double) est sur l'avenue qui est très bruyante. Le reste de l'appartement est parfaitement calme.

- Kathleen (10/5): - Excelent location, a lot of good restaurants, coffee shops and stores around. Beautiful neighborhood. The apartament is amazing, very clean, comfortable and modern. Very confortable king size beds.
