Guest Reviews
- Mei Po (10/5): Cozy clean place to stay with no frills. - Location, washing machine, bidet, refrigerator, heating in the room, ease of access to the building and apartment.
The space is small but was clean. Was able to warm up food in the microwave. The bed was comfortable and the heating was very nice for heating up the shower and floors. Very limited in kitchen supplies.
No plates, bowls, cookware, utensils. Fortunately, I brought a glass container that I used to warm up food in the microwave.
- Monicah123 (10/5): Excellent place to stay in Seoul - Very nice customer service. The lady was very kind to let me checkin a bit earlier
- Theresa (1/5): “A false address and an unprepared, unsanitary room made this one of the worst travel experiences of my life.” - Really? How can I compare what it actually was (a worn out studio apartment set up with old odds and ends, nothing as was described. Tucked down single lane side street “in the area” of Apple Gangnam, compared to where it was advertised to be, “IN the Apple Gangnam building “!! Which is the first (& only) Flagship (less than 2 years old) APPLE store in South Korea !! On the equivalent of Rodeo Drive in California!! No streaming services, was told to sign up for an account myself! The location in this listing was false. It repeatedly showed the Apple Gangnam flagship address, including map pin and photos, but the apartment was not at that location. After two days of travel, I arrived late at night to find the unit didn’t exist at the advertised address. I spent over four hours past midnight dragging luggage through unfamiliar streets with no response from the host. A stranger eventually guided me through back alleys to a tiny older building hidden behind a small convenience store—nothing like the Apple Gangnam building shown online.
Inside, the conditions were unacceptable. There was no toilet paper for four days and no dry towels for two days.m but there was a dried-up bar of soap, a used empty plastic cup &empty toothpaste tube, a used shower cap. The bedding was wet, hanging to dry in the room, the only sheet on the bed was so thin the mattress coil impressions were clearly visible through it. The “full kitchen” had no pots, pans, or utensils, the appliances & thermostat had no instructions. The actual building was old and worn, not the modern unit in the photos. This stay was NOTHING as advertised.
