- Juliana (7/5): Lovely but feels a little unloved - Spacious home with lots of entertainment space plus direct access to the beach below which was private and with no other walking by visitors etc. Although unswimable with the waves and currents - really nice to look at and enjoy the beach just a walk from the house! The staff are in and out the house so you may need to content with them - for example the gardener was watching TV in the cottage which is for guests whilst we were there. We also had a day when the power mysteriously stopped working and only after us having to find phone numbers and really demand some assistance did the house management do something about it and they weren’t overly apologetic nor did they try and make a mense about the entire day almost we spent without electricity! The hot water is also very limited and you need to space out baths and showers between guests as if you shower now it will be many hours until the water is hot again. For us, who like to be walking distance of things to do - this house felt very far away from everything. It was literally the very last house on the road and at the end of the beach in Ballito. So everything took a drive to get to (other than the beach below of course).
