- Van Soetendael (9/5): - Het hotel is een oase van rust. De tuin en het zwembad zijn prachtig en goed onderhouden, perfect om tot rust te komen. Het ontbijt was een heerlijk buffet. De kamers zijn ruim en proper. We hadden eerst een lodge geboekt, maar toen we de kamer inkwamen zagen we dat er geen kast aanwezig was... Nog al lastig als je twee grote bagages van 20kg mee hebt... Toen we dit probleem vermelde aan het personeel regelden ze meteen zonder probleem een nieuwe kamer voor ons. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

- Sadia (1/5): Don’t go - Nothing creepy and scary Absolutely not suitable for families or women. The environment is deeply unsettling—dark, tense, and downright frightening. The property is in the heart of a dangerous area, isolated with no Wi-Fi, no internet, and no way to escape the eerie atmosphere. The pictures on the website are completely misleading; the reality is far worse, almost nightmarish. Enter at your own risk.

- Bouchta (10/5): Un séjour paisible et ressourçant dans un cadre naturel exceptionnel, avec un accueil irréprochable. - Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil chaleureux et personnalisé, notamment de la part du propriétaire qui a su nous faire sentir comme chez nous tout au long du séjour. L’établissement est idéalement situé pour les amateurs d’activités en plein air : nous avons pu profiter de magnifiques sorties (trekking, vélo, alpinisme) avec des paysages exceptionnels comme le Toubkal et la vallée d’Ourika. Le cadre est tout simplement superbe : une végétation riche avec des oliviers, des romarins et des plantations d’agrumes qui offrent des couleurs et des parfums extraordinaires. Le calme et la sérénité du lieu sont également un vrai plus. Honnêtement, rien de particulier à signaler. L’expérience a été très positive dans l’ensemble.

All natural, freshly cooked, good taste… Typical moroccan cuisine. Loved it! Very thankful for this experience. It’s 25 minutes away from the centre but we didn’t mind because we were there for nature and rest. It was a dream.

Il servizio di ristorazione è eccellente: un riuscito mix tra cucina francese e araba, in particolare marocchina, con anche qualche proposta italiana che si è rivelata sorprendentemente valida. La spa è un ambiente molto suggestivo, con una graziosa piscina interna, e i massaggi offerti dallo staff sono stati davvero eccezionali. Boutique-style hotel with a friendly and calming vibe, perfect for couples looking to escape day to day life. Our villa was perfect in every way; lovely large double bed, tall ceilings, roll-top bath, fridge, private pool sun loungers ... perfect. Nothing.
- Jana (10/5): Abgelegen aber sehr schönes Hotel - Wundervolle Gartenanlage mit schönem Pool. Der Spa mit Indoorpool sehr ansprechend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und der Service im Restaurant gut. Das Frühstück war super. Ohne Hilfe von Einheimischen hätten wir das Hotel nicht gefunden. Google Maps hat uns zu einem leeren Feld geleitet bzw. die Adresse nicht gefunden! Durch die offene Dusche war das halbe Bad nass & etwas Schimmel an der Wand/Waschtisch. Die Preise im Restaurant sind fast 3mal so hoch wie in anderen Restaurant in Marrakesch.

Ça serait bien de refaire un coup de neuf au chambre

- Mischa (8/5): Heerlijk! - Het personeel, de spa en de algehele ‘vibe’. Heel relaxed in prachtige omgeving. Het is een half uur rijden van Marrakech centrum, dus als je veel van de stad wil zien is de lokatie niet ideaal. Daar staat tegenover dat taxi’s niet duur zijn en je voor ontspanning en lekker eten het resort niet af hoeft.

Les chambres étaient très humides et dégageaient une forte odeur de moisissure. Nos affaires restaient régulièrement humides. La chambre était également très mal insonorisée : nous entendions clairement les voisins. Par ailleurs, nous avions choisi cet hôtel notamment pour le live band annoncé, mais il n’y en avait finalement pas.

- Dukali (8/5): Perfect - De rust en vriendelijk personeel. Locatie is perfect als je niet midden in de drukte wil zitten can Kech, maar wel in de buurt wenst te blijven. Eigen auto is wel aan te bevelen! Eén hond was bijzonder irritant aan het rondrennen en zelfs aan het dobberen in het zwembad. We hebben dit helaas meerdere keren moeten aangeven. Ze namen wel actie, maar de volgende dag liep de druk hond weer los en moest je weer aangeven dit niet prettig te vinden.

- Sarah Jane (10/5): Fabulous place - we will be back - We had a fabulous time at this hotel, the grounds are lovely, the pool area relaxing, the rooms and public areas decorated with great taste and imagination. As we were out of season and the hotel was not fully booked we were offered an upgrade. However, it's the people who make this place excellent - the staff, the owners and their family were so helpful friendly and welcoming. Yassine deserves a particular mention. Nothing

De multiples piscines et un jardin tropical, ça c’est fabuleux ! - quand même très loin de la route principale (route de l’Ourika), pas de service de taxi, difficile de rejoindre la ville sans voiture de location - la musique a plein volume jusqu’à 5h du matin (on a dû quitter l’hôtel en catastrophe) Petit conseil, si vous faites une soirée, gardez les chambres pour les gens de la soirée, mais ne visez pas la rentabilité maximum en essayant quand même de louer les chambres à des vacanciers. - me faire agresser à la réception par une dame qui trouvait normal que l’on doive subir ce genre de soirée dans un hôtel

- Lacombe (10/5): - Nous sommes venues entre amies pendant l’un des festivals de l’hôtel et avons adoré l’ambiance ainsi que la musique. Le personnel a été extrêmement accueillant, notamment la manager Stéphane qui a été adorable. Les lieux sont magnifiques, les soirées ont une super ambiance et la nourriture est délicieuse. Nous avons tellement aimé que nous avons prolonger le séjour.

Het kleinschalige, boutiquegevoel en de oog voor detail zorgden meteen voor een ontspannen sfeer. Een prachtig, stijlvol verblijf dat onze verwachtingen volledig overtrof. Eigenlijk viel er niets tegen; we hebben van begin tot eind genoten van ons verblijf. Prijs-kwaliteit was uitstekend. Personeel ook enorm behulpzaam.

- imane (8/5): - The hotel is amazing, it's so serene and quiet. It's full of greenery which adds to its charm, and the pool is one of the best i've had the pleasure to swin in . There was no soap in the room, we had to ask for it, and they brought us the hard soap which to me isn't very sanitary, and the bathroom door didn't close on the inside, the lock was broken so that was a hassel.

L’atmosphère de l’hôtel est chaleureuse et reposante, parfaite pour un séjour à Marrakech.Petit-déjeuner varié, frais et savoureux, avec des produits de qualité et un service impeccable.Idéalement situé, calme et à une vingtaine de minutes en voiture du centre-ville, parfait pour allier détente et découverte. Rien de particulier, tout a été parfait.Difficile de trouver un point à améliorer tant l’expérience a été excellente.

The photos online are totally misleading—there’s only one small pool, not the multiple ones advertised. The breakfast was barely edible with very limited options, and the staff got visibly annoyed when we raised even the smallest concern. They failed to fulfill basic requests, like extra towels or water. On top of that, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere—no shops, restaurants, or even a decent view nearby. Would not recommend. Definitely not worth the money or hassle.

- Lee (10/5): So many wow moments at this stunning hotel!. - I had so many wow moments at this stunning hotel and the most memorable and meaningful stay. From the moment I arrived I felt my shoulders drop and my breathing slow, it’s literally the kind of place that feels like a panacea for your nervous system. Imagine finding an oasis in the desert – at the exact moment you're parched for tranquillity. I went with my family and we were fortunate enough to stay in the Villa Rouge, which quickly became our home away from home. The villa is the perfect balance between traditional Moroccan artistry and modern comfort. Our private pool and gardens became our favourite spot for morning Moroccan tea and evening contemplation under the sunset skies. The gardens at Source are nothing short of magical. We loved wandering the pathways, every morning and finding new chill out spots along the flower filled hedges and fragrant herbs which created a natural aromatherapy to even further calm the mind. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. The spread was a nutritionist's dream with fresh seasonal fruits rich in antioxidants, local and protein-packed eggs made to order and prepared to perfection. The traditional Moroccan pancakes, served with local honey were so divine we all may have eaten our body weight in them over our stay. The spa, was truly blissful. I indulged in their signature hammam treatment, which exfoliated away what felt like several years of stress along with dead skin cells. I floated rather than walked back to my villa afterward. What truly elevated our stay was the relaxing vibe and chill factor that permeated every corner of Source Hotel. It's not just the beautiful surroundings but the thoughtful touches and the warm and friendly staff who were attentive and very kind. We all left Source Hotel feeling thoroughly restored, as if we’d been rewound and reset, ready to face the world again. Our skin was glowing, our minds were clear, and our hearts were full of Moroccan memories that we will all treasure.
