They ask for an excessive amount of personal information, such as the type of car, model and color, a selfie holding your ID, and a CAD $400 deposit — with no certainty that it will ever be refunded, as their practices feel dishonest and unclear.
When you arrive at the building, you are informed that there is no parking available, even though they previously requested all this information, wasting your time with meaningless procedures for something they simply do not offer. They then tell you to look online for nearby parking options.
We ended up paying CAD $50 for parking: CAD $30 at a machine (which was the maximum it accepted) and then had to return at 7:00 a.m. to pay an additional CAD $20.
Customer service is terrible. Honestly, you are better off booking a hotel. You will end up paying more by staying here, and your vacation will likely be ruined.
They also demand additional payments through PayPal and refuse to release the reservation otherwise, abusing the fact that it is non-refundable. In a hotel, you simply present your ID at reception — you do not leave your personal information circulating without knowing how it will be used.
Do not waste your money or risk having such a terrible experience.
