• Claudie. (6/5): Pretty dirty and rundown. - Location was nice and quiet. Keys were easy to collect. The place was really dirty and had lots of bugs everywhere!
• Barbora (8/5): Overall very good place to stay with beautiful views, feels like in countryside. The cleanliness is definitely something - Beautiful private villa, great location with really nice views. Pool is definitely a plus. It was quite unclean (floors, shower), the bathroom had a really bad smell after a shower. Very thin walls (even a quiet talk outside sounds like it’s inside).

• Kyle (10/5): Comfortable, different and amazing - I loved the pool it’s actually big for the 1 bed villas. It was really clean, nice big bathroom and many amenities like a gas stove! (With pots and cutlery) and even umbrellas! The air con was pretty good there was one up stairs but you could feel it downstairs. Bed was so comfortable and the balcony with the view of the rice fields was gorgeous. The press under the stove was messy. There was just glasses and other things thrown in

• Samantha (8/5): Nice views, well equipped stay - Enjoyed having a private pool, and being able to sit on the balcony watching the stars at night. Very peaceful and quiet in the night. Well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with strong, hot shower. The villa felt a little dark inside due to the wood, and low roof outside. Pool was private, but low fences made it easy to be seen so I felt a little exposed to the roadside and people passing.
• esauarrabal (9/5): Estupendo, pero muy mejorable - La piscina privada, el personal siempre pendiente para limpieza, el lugar es mágico con arrozales enfrente tuya. Lavabo demasiado alto, la ducha no tragaba agua, la zona de la cocina no es tan práctica para estar 13 días como estuvimos nosotros y solo hay aire acondicionado arriba, si haces vida abajo, vas a pasar calor.

• Petr (6/5): На фотографиях гораздо лучше, чем в реальнольности. Вилле не помешал бы капитальный ремонт - Большой и действительно классный бассейн, красивые виды вокруг. Дружелюбный хост, который пытается по максимуму обеспечить проживающих всем необходимым. Удобные кровати. Итак начну по порядку: 1) на фото вилла выглядит на порядок лучше, чем есть на самом деле. Общее впечатление, что она требует ремонта. Кухня сильно изношена, везде полно насекомых. Двери деревянные и в промежутки между створками легко пробирается куча насекомых. В одной из комнат над кроватью нет защиты от насекомых. В гостиной вечером невозможно находиться с включенным светом, иначе вы будете окружены различными насекомыми. Также очень тонкие перегородки между комнатами - буквально толщиной в деревянную доску - звукоизоляции никакой, буквально слышно, как кто-то сидит на унитазе. 2) Виллы расположены слишком близко друг другу. В связи с этим, даже обычный разговор в бассейне с друзьями будет причиной того, что в 23-00 вам будет звонить хост с просьбой говорить шепотом (!), так как постояльцы соседней виллы не могут уснуть. Вопрос мог бы быть легко решен хоть какой-то звуковой изоляцией комнат. 3) Все стены и перегородки на вилле сделаны из однослойной тонкой деревянной доски - всюду щели, в которые пробираются насекомые и вы отлично слышите все, что происходит на улице. 4) В поселение, где находится вилла, не пускают такси Grab и Gojek, так как местные жители предлагают свои услуги такси по стоимости в 2+ раза превышающие рыночную стоимость.
• Inês (9/5): Excelente - Desde um staff extremamente prestável, que resolveram todas as situações sem qualquer tipo de problema na maior velocidade possível, até as condições excelentes da propriedade, recomendamos vivamente a Villa Aphrodite. Ficamos na Villa Sophia, que pertence à Aphrodite, por apenas sermos 2 pessoas. Apesar de ser a 15 minutos de carro do centro, foi fácil chegar lá, mesmo com a restrição de Grabs e Gojeks que existe na zona adjacente à villa. Apenas é preciso ter um pouco de paciência. (Nota: chamar nota é mais fácil do que chamar carro) Nada a apontar

• Sumithra (4/5): - overall aesthetic and cleanliness of the villa is good. there was room service everyday where the cleaned the entire villa. the swimming pools, washroom and beds were very clean and comfy. we had a late check in (8pm) and they were kind enough to arrange someone to wait there till we arrive to hand over the keys in person. villa is so pretty and beautiful, just as you see in pictures. what disappointed us the most is that there was a really strong smell coming whenever the taps were opened. in the washroom, the kitchen, the shower heads, etc. the smell was so bad as if there's something dead in the water tank above. and so we informed the host. when we returned to the villa, and opened the tap, it had a very very strong antiseptic medication or aka Dettol smell. we informed the host again. seems like they have poured dettol into the tank, even the drinking water had the same smell. this made us very worrisome to use the shower/swim/eat/drink anything made from the water coming out from those taps. to the extent we could not enjoy our stay by taking proper showers or playing in the pool. we had to buy so many bottles of mineral water to survive our night there. this experience was totally disappointing.
• Yohann (9/5): - Très belle Villa Sophia... Conforme aux photos, cadre magnifique. Pas de bain de soleil sur la terrasse, ils étaient en réparation. Pas de fermeture au niveau de la porte d'entrée du jardin qui mène à la villa, quand on est à l'intérieur pas de possibilité de fermer à clé, par contre c'est ok quand on sort, on met un cadenas sur la porte en bois.

• Anouschka (10/5): Lovely Villa - We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Sophia! Lovely spacious villa with pool and kitchen area. Lots of storage and wardrobes, nice seating area outsid upstairs and lovely big bathroom too! Only thing that disappointed us was there were no sunbeds by our pool as pictured on booking.com which meant we couldn’t sunbathe by the pool. Would also recommend a fan in the kitchen area as it can get very warm downstairs with only aircon upstairs! Staff were very friendly and helpful too! Overall we really enjoyed our stay! :)
• Lia (6/5): Cozy and private but difficult for transportation and standard - Calm villa with a private pool and a very cozy bedroom and nice interior. Far off from the crowds and no one around. Bedding and towels were clean and host was always reachable via messenger. Location is a little away from Ubud town and it is forbidden to hire drivers online or to use Grab/Gojek etc. Local driver that was recommended wanted to charge double the price than online. We had some animals (cockroaches, centipedes) in the room and also a very intense bad smell coming from the bathroom sinks. It was raining a lot and water came inside trough the front, therefore it was very slippery. With better weather it could be good.

The villa is stunning — beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Communication was smooth from start to finish, and every little detail was taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — we left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back! Nothing

• Tiffany (1/5): Glad we only stayed for 1 night, will not be back. Stay away at all costs. - The groundskeeper of the Villa was very friendly, and allowed us to leave our bags at the villa after check out while we explored Ubud. We didn’t actually stay in Villa Aphrodite (which is a bigger shared villa) – we were in one of the twin villas meant for 2 people. Unfortunately, there were quite a few things that made our stay uncomfortable: 1. The hot water runs out halfway through the first shower, and once it turns cold, it doesn’t heat up again for hours—so the next person ends up showering in cold water too. 2. There’s no fan or aircon downstairs, so it gets really stuffy if you're just trying to sit at the dining table. There are beanbags outside, but sitting there means getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. 3. The wooden stairs are pretty steep and super slippery. There aren’t any grips or railings, and with the condensation from the AC, my partner ended up slipping, tumbling down, and hitting his head. He also got scrapes on his arms – I’ve attached a photo. 4. The villa is located in a small village with only one way in and out. The locals have put up a barrier that blocks taxis (Grab or Gojek) drivers from entering. They did this to force guests to use their own transport services and at prices they set. Unless you agree to their rates (which you have to negotiate), you’re pretty much stuck in the villa without easy access to food or shops. This was honestly the most frustrating part of our stay, especially because the host never mentioned it beforehand. I've attached a photo of the barrier and sign they put up.
• Jamila (10/5): Beautiful location and staff amazing! - Sooo beautiful! In a quiet neighbourhood between rice fields, and beautiful rooms and kitchen. 3 bedrooms each bed with a mosquito net which was a must!! Bathrooms beautiful and pool the perfect size! The staff was absolutely amazing, easy to contact and super helpful! Will stay again!
• Maddie (5/5): Lovely location. Shame about the noise - The private pool It was noisy, scooters go past all times of the night. Due to location, no taxis were not allowed up to the villa. We struggled to get in and out of the area, was about 20 mins walk to where the taxis were allowed. We could hear the next villa along playing loud music until about 4am.
