- Peter (10/5): The finest Inn we have experienced ! - Everything about this inn is Exceptional! The proprietress and chef truly made our stay comfortable, relaxing and tasty! The food is amazing and wine and sake pairings enhance this. Michelin should take note. The staff are attentive and friendly, everyone making our stay memorable. The room was well appointed and the view peaceful and picturesque. The furnishings all created by local craftspeople. The baths (hot!) were the best we have experienced in Japan. Private, outdoors, and rejuvenating. Not a traditional ryokan but with the spirit of one, we are older and cannot sit on the floor so looked for someplace with the spirit of ryokan but the seating of the West. We found it and then some. Wish we could have stayed longer.

- jacob (10/5): The best... - This is my favourite place to stay in the world. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, the location encourages relaxation, the staff mix a warm welcome with gentle efficiency... and perhaps most of all the food is astonishingly good, a celebration of local ingredients prepared with respect and artistry. I am planning my next visit.
- Hui Ying (9/5): - 服務人員都非常親切,溫泉非常棒👍
- Martin (10/5): Sublime. - The old building was restored beautifully and embodied the wabi sabi ethic.
The owner is a remarkable chef and the attention to detail in every dish she created was also evident in every aspect of the accomodation right down to the coffee grinder in the room, the gorgeous bed linen, the key tags, the selection of books in our room.
And the private outdoor baths attached to the main building made this a very relaxing stay. Pickup from Kanazawa made everything easy. Nothing.

- Xi (10/5): This is the kind of place I wish I could come once a month - The most beautiful accommodation I’ve ever stayed in anywhere ! Superb service and they were all so kind, warm and thoughtful. Staying here resetted my nervous system. The onsen is a luxury to experience in front of the beautiful scenaries of the mountains and river. Walking out in the morning seeing chicken will melt your heart Loved everything
- Katie (10/5): An idyllic, beautiful escape in the wonderful town of Kanazawa - It was idyllic - we felt immediately at peace after walking through the doors, the staff couldn’t have been more attentive yet not intrusive. Given there’s only 3 rooms, it was quiet and felt like you had it to yourself but there was a buzz in the evenings at dinner.

- michael (10/5): One of the vest experiences we ever had - we felt part of the family - IPerfect location for Kanazawa stay. Amazing house with onten room. Special wood fire cooking with love to every derail. Super collection of international known and japanese wines. Lovely owner and amazingly friendly team. Musr stay Nothing

- Broich (10/5): 10 out of 10!! - We absolutely loved our stay at Onsen & Garden Nana in the Kanazawa mountains. It was the perfect relaxing escape during our trip. The rooms were super spacious, and having our own private onsen was such a treat—crazy hot (in a good way!), while the outdoor rock bath was just right for soaking and listening to the river and nature around us. The staff and owners couldnt have been more nice and hospitable from the time we arrived to the time we left we felt like we family to them.
The food was hands-down the highlight—every meal was incredible, and the welcome cocktail was such a nice touch. The music playing throughout the property was super calming, and the whole place just had this amazing peaceful vibe. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave.
- Eileen (10/5): Very relaxing and enjoyable stay - Homey and cozy, peaceful vibe, food was good and the owner was nice and friendly.
- David (10/5): A very special stay - Food, facilities and staff all amazing. We were a bit worried when the taxi driver was confused by the address, but when we pulled in he said 'ooo this is fancy' and he was right! The play space in the family suite was a cool addition to keep our little one busy. Nice soft beds compared to others we have stayed at. Only one room had the onsen directly connected to the room. The onsen for the family suite was still lovely and private but just outside.
- Zachary (10/5): Thoughtfully Curated - This was an ideal two-night stopover between Kyoto and Tokyo, and a major highlight of our trip. The building is beautiful, the onset was just as described, and the staff was always attentive (despite us knowing little Japanese). The biggest highlight was the food - the chef sources all ingredients locally and puts them all together into beautiful and delicious meals across several unique dishes for dinner. I would highly recommend!
- Hong (10/5): Amazingly serene Onsen! Best stay in all of Japan for us - Our stay here was absolutely heavenly. We had such an amazing time from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. The baths were stunning and really clean. We particularly enjoyed the rock bath. It is about a 25min taxi ride to most of the sights and attractions in Kanazawa. That didn’t bother us because really enjoyed the serene and private feel of being further from the city, but something to keep in mind. Also, I was blown away by the meals and by how fresh all of the food was. If staying here, definitely attend the breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. It almost had the feel of a Michelin star restaurant.
- Jacob (10/5): Worth every penny... - Exceptional place... the food is a highlight, the chef an artist.
- 佐藤 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (7/5): I thought Garden and Onsen Nana was a beautiful inn in a very calm and serene location. - The breakfast was great! It was nice to have that made for us around 7-8am. The first day was pancakes and they were cold, but it was good and then next day was French toast which thankfully they were warm. I liked the fresh fruit. I didn’t know we were going to be charged for drinks which could have been clearer. I had ordered three glasses of wine, husband ordered tea. It wasn’t too bad, but it was a bit confusing as to what was included in price and what wasn’t and the drinks weren’t really said what was included so I was confused. Also, I think it’s lovely kids are welcome, but it did make the experience a little less relaxing. There was a lot of noise, but overall everyone was very kind!
