- Ian (8/5): Very good - Room was clean, functional and comfortable. Very happy. Reception staff were very helpful. The kitchen was filthy. I understand that guests are responsible for cleaning the kitchen and that is reflected in the low cost of accommodation. Unfortunately some guests were not cleaning up after themselves.

- Kasia (1/5): shame - Nothing to like, as... I wasn't allowed to enter the room I paid for. I also didn't get my money back. The reason was unclear and discriminatory reservation rules. Open University students are not good enough to stay at this student accommodation. Their attempts to prove they are students won't be accepted. At the same time during the reservation there is no information 'what specific kind of students' this hotel is allowing... So I felt like complete idiot standing at the reception in Winchester, with all my luggage, trying to explain that i am a student too and this is not my fault, that the hotel didn't make its policy clear at reservation... I had to look for another, expensive hotel in Winchester the same evening as having botanic course next morning.... Well... I wasn't allowed to enter the room I paid for. I also didn't get my money back. The reason was unclear and discriminatory reservation rules. Open University students are not good enough to stay at this student accommodation.
