• Carlos (10/5): Can't wait to come back - Marcelo and Bruno were amazing hosts and have done wonders with the property. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast delicious (we loved the cheese, croissants, pain-au-chocolat and coffee) and the pool was refreshing and super relaxing. Would totally recommend tasting their wines (and buying a bottle, or a box!). The rooms had dusty corners.

• Kevin (6/5): A pleasant stay - The property is in a peaceful location with plenty of parking. It is a lovely setting in the middle of the countryside. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished. They do sell some really lovely wine and the hosts were helpful. It is a little tired and our room had just a curtain separating the bathroom, including the toilet, and the bedroom which is not something we are used to but we managed. We were the only guests and had the house to ourselves but it was a little disconcerting as all the other rooms were empty. Make sure you check in at the advised window of time - we were a bit upset at being charged extra for being a little late to check in, even though we kept the owners informed of our progress - so check your booking in details carefully.

• Helen (8/5): Ideal family stay, great peaceful location & lovely pool. Would recommend a car - Lovely location, private & quiet, but only 10mins drive from Trebes with choice of good restaurants & 20 mins from Carcassone cite. Pool was wonderful & perfect when weather got a bit hot. Fridge available in the shared lounge for Chambre d’ote guests was great. Simple & tasty breakfast with friendly & helpful hosts. Used the on-site laundry facilities also… really handy. Ideally air conditioning would have been good, as it was v warm when we visited (34-36deg). However the hosts did provided a fan which really helped at night.
