• Michael (10/5): Incredible location comfortable cost and value for money - Absolutely fantastic stay — 10/10! The location is honestly hard to beat if you want to experience real central Amsterdam. Everything is within walking distance — canals, restaurants, cafés, shopping, and major attractions — yet the street itself feels surprisingly peaceful. The room was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and full of authentic Amsterdam character. Staying in a canal house gives a much more personal and memorable experience than a generic hotel. The host was communicative, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay, providing clear instructions and useful local recommendations. The atmosphere felt friendly and well-organized. For guests booking a shared accommodation, expectations should be realistic — this is a lived-in Amsterdam home, which actually adds to the charm and authenticity of the experience. The shared spaces were maintained well, and everything needed for a comfortable stay was available. If you are looking for a centrally located, authentic Amsterdam stay with a local touch instead of an impersonal hotel, this is an excellent choice. Would definitely stay again.
• Mathias (1/5): Worst experience after travelling 82 countries worldwide - The only acceptable thing about this accomodation is the location. The best part of the stay is leaving it. The owner of the apartment, who lives in the bedroom next to you, violated his own house rules several times. We were heavily disturbed at night. After 12pm midnight the owner came with another person inside the apartment and loudly vomited in the bathroom. Also he left his personal belongings such as toothbrushes and used bath robes in the bathroom. This is another violation of his own house rules. He contacted us multiple times during our stay via WhatsApp and accused us for example of not closing the doors, whereas he has no proof that it was us. Also he complained about my girlfriend wearing high heels. I contacted booking.com and the apartment owner to ask for a refund for those inconveniences. In the answer I received from the owner, he insulted me as a "coward", "disrespectful" and a "liar". On top of that he admitted that he installed surveillance cameras in and around the building. Which demonstrates a strong violation of European Union data protection laws. The 30€ late check-in price can't be paid with credit card, as I asked for. You also dont receive a bill for that. So it is questionable how much of this is stated in the annual tax report. To sum up all of the mentioned facts: if you want to have a great time in Amsterdam make sure to not book this place. Even if the price for this stay is reduced by half, it wouldn't be worth it.

• Michael (10/5): Exceptional value for money location and quality accommodation - I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this accommodation! The location couldn’t be better — it’s incredibly central, which made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable. Everything was within walking distance, and being so close to everything really enhanced my trip. The room was spotless. It was very clean, fresh, and well maintained, which made me feel comfortable right away. You can tell that a lot of care goes into keeping the place in excellent condition. Communication with both the host and co-host was seamless. They were friendly, responsive, and very helpful from start to finish. Check-in was smooth, and any questions I had were answered quickly and clearly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, central, and well-managed place to stay. I will absolutely be back! 😊 Can’t think of a negative aspect

• Dennis (1/5): - Leider konnten wir in diesem Zimmer kein Auge zutun. Der Nachbar schaltete etwa alle 30 Minuten das Licht im Flur ein und durch das Fenster über der Tür wird dabei das komplette Zimmer ausgeleuchtet. Außerdem empfanden wir das offene Fenster oberhalb der Tür als unangenehm, da dadurch theoretisch jemand in unseren privaten Bereich schauen könnte. Wir sind am nächsten Tag in ein Hotel gegangen. Der Vermieter hat uns eine Erstattung für die verbliebenen Tage zugesagt aber diese ist nicht erfolgt.

• Lucia (8/5): A rare find in central Amsterdam to be within walking distance from everything without the chaos. - The location was perfect, very central but in a residential area so away from the noise. Legor is a very attentive host, making sure that everything was ok and I had everything I needed. This is much more like an Airbnb accommodation in that it it is a room in someone's home. I think the fact that it's on booking.com changes the expectation as this site is mainly for hotels and holiday rentals rather than private homes. A shared bathroom isn't ideal but in a privatehome this is more normal.

• CHRISTINE RAMANAMIHANTATSOARANA (8/5): Super emplacement au centre ville, propre et calme - Chambre propre comme la salle de bain (salle de bain partagé). Beaucoup de produits à disposition. Calme avec en bonus juste à côté un quai avec une belle vue. Le manque de chaise pour s'asseoir (autre que le lit). Le lit directement sous la fenêtre donc un certain vis a vis (plante en face qui cache un peu)

• Daniela (10/5): Great location and really nice place+host - The location is amazing. Very central if you want to visit the city or the harbor. A couple of supermarkets are just few minutes away. Its a really quiet neighborhood. The room and the bathroom are very clean and nicely decorated.

• Maxa (10/5): BEST spot in central Amsterdam! (And best host too) - Desde nuestra llegada Egor fue un autentico host. Nos ayudo a todo lo que necesitamos y nos recomendó planes increibles. La casa se encuentra en una zona ideal, en mitad de un canal. Pudimos tomar el sol, bañarnos e incluso nos presentó a su vecino que tiene una lancha y nos dió un paseo espectacular. El cuarto tiene todo lo que necesitas y es amplio para dos personas. Me encantó lo tranquilo que es el barrio, no habia ruidos en la noche y se podía descansar perfectamente. El baño es practicamente para ti y está impecable. La verdad mi viaje a Amsterdam hubiera sido diferente si no me hubiera hospedado en este lugar. Egor, gracias por hacer de nuestra estancia un super plan. Volveremos a verte el año que viene. No me gustó no tener mas días de vacaciones para alargar la estancia
