• Hanna (10/5): Great staff, comfy suites, amazing rooftop views - Our family came to Istanbul for a reunion trip, with relatives flying in from two different countries, and we booked two suites on the 4th and 5th floors. Overall, we had a really great stay here and would absolutely come back. Pros: The location is honestly amazing. You’re super close to İstiklal Avenue, Tünel Funicular, the tram, restaurants, cafés, basically everything — but the hotel itself is tucked away on a quiet little street, so it never felt chaotic or loud. After spending all day in busy tourist areas, coming back to a calm street was such a relief. The hotel also felt surprisingly private. We never heard neighbors, and on our floors there were only two rooms per floor, which made everything feel quiet and relaxed. The beds were VERY comfortable. Like actually comfortable, not “hotel comfortable.” We slept so well here. The suites worked perfectly for our family because there was a separate bedroom plus a living room with a small kitchen area, so everyone had a bit of personal space. Also, having an elevator in an older Istanbul building is honestly a huge bonus. The people working here were probably our favorite part of the stay. Huge thank you to Isa, Azar, and Ceren. Isa and Azar were always friendly, chill, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They also helped arrange the sleeping setup exactly the way we wanted it, even though I know it probably created extra work for them. My husband and I especially loved talking with Isa. We ended up having conversations about history, music, languages, culture, life in Turkey, life in general… he’s honestly a very smart and interesting person to talk to. You can tell he’s curious about the world and enjoys learning about other cultures too. Also Isa — if you ever see this review — keep practicing your English, you’re doing great :) Azar was also incredibly kind and dependable. The main issue for us was the water pressure on the 5th floor. Sometimes the water would almost disappear if someone else in the building was showering at the same time. Also, the hotel can be a little tricky to find the first time because it’s on a quieter side street. Our airport driver couldn’t find it right away, so we had to walk a bit with luggage before locating it.

Lots of things: - As I arrived I felt a constant pressure from the workers to give them a 10point review when the hotel is very far form a positive review - Bathroom is super tiny. - impossible to shower without washing your hair - bed is uncomfortable. - walls are ugly - there is a happy room in the hotel. - breakfast is terrible (lady that makes the breakfast is nice) - bad sound insulation

Un hotel muy acogedor y muy limpio.Pero sobre todo el trato del personal que fue excepcional en todo momento dándonos todo tipo de información y recomendaciones para visitar la cuidad.

• Руслана (10/5): - Начнем с того, что я была в Стамбуле в 3 раз и мне есть с чем сравнить Очень чистые номера, приятные ребята на ресепшн, шикарные завтраки, прекрасный вид, рядом метро Shishane, трамвайчик, который довозит с Каракея Женщина на кухне Жейрем и ее племянница Мехрибан вообще умнички, все вкусно. Завтраки разнообразные и всего много. Есть открытая терраса и закрытая, что очень удобно во время дождя мы сидели на закрытой террасе. Галатская башня на соседней улице.Обязательно вернемся еще Все было отлично

Ménage régulier, fourniture d'eau et de produits de douche. Cuisine petite mais bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire. Présence d'un ascenseur ! Équipements vieillissants : pas de pommeau de douche, eau chaude intermittente, joints et plinthes vieillissants, matelas très dur. Évier de salle de bain trop petit. Besoin de petits travaux pour améliorer ça. Pas de tables ni de chaises dans la suite malgré la cuisine. Plus petit que sur les photos.

• Kieran (10/5): The hotel was the cherry on the Istanbul cake - It had a great location by the siskane metro and a short walk to Galata tower and istiklal street. I loved my room and the view from the breakfast area is fantastic. But mostly I would like to thank the very helpful staff. Especially the young man on reception who instantly got me a plaster when he saw I had cut my leg. The hotel made my stay in Istanbul all the more memorable. Great value for money Not a thing

Правда есть нюанс им крайне важны оценки и комментарии положительные. Так что при выборе читайте комментарии. В целом отель в своей категории отличный. Прекрасная терраса. Вкусный завтрак. Чистые полотенца, простыни и прочее. Есть маленькие наборы для душа и мыло. Нет влажной уборки. Нужно самим просить туалетную бумагу. Мы не стали разбираться , но нельзя выключить большой общий свет в комнате не вытаскивая ключ карту, т.е. не обесточивая весь номер. И не поняли как работает верхний душ. Но нам это не было важно. Завтрак средний, но мы две девушки нам было достаточно. Комплекты постельного белья были чистыми и свежими, но старыми в некоторых местах были дырки.

• Pavel Kuznetsov (1/5): - Я очень редко пишу отзывы, но эта ситуация вынудила меня это сделать. Прежде всего я обращаюсь к туристам из России: в этот отель ехать не нужно. К сожалению, администрация отеля использует шантаж и вымогательство в отношении постояльцев с целью накрутки рейтинга. При заселении меня поселили не в тот номер, который я бронировал, а на следующий день начали требовать либо доплату 30 евро, либо переселение в номер меньшей площади. Я согласился доплатить, но после этого мне сказали, что платить нужно уже 60 евро. Затем сотрудник отеля по имени Иса подошёл ко мне и потребовал, чтобы я в его присутствии оставил оценку 10 из 10, сказав при этом: «мы сделаем это вместе». Я посчитал такое поведение унизительным и совершенно неприемлемым. Сами номера находятся в ушатанном состоянии: многое не работает, включая выключатели и регулировку системы отопления, кровать страшно скрипит, санузел неисправен и недостаточно чист. Завтрак скудный, но в целом ещё терпимо. Кроме того, я обратился в администрацию Booking, потому что заявленные в описании номера 10 квадратных метров не соответствуют действительности. Реальная площадь составляет около шести-шести с половиной метров. Такое системное поведение администрации, включая разводку туристов на деньги и манипуляции с рейтингом, делает проживание в этом отеле недопустимым. Категорически не рекомендую данный объект.

• annakukhareva (9/5): - Отель находится в очень хорошем районе, рядом есть много магазинов и кафе. Прекрасный вид на Золотой Рог открывается с терассы, на которой подают завтрак. В лобби много листовок с экскурсиями, в том числе на русском языке. Персонал отеля очень отзывчивый, они сами отнесли наши вещи в номер, когда мы заселялись. Персонал даже смог найти для нас градусник для измерения температуры тела. Интернет в номере очень хорошо ловит, все время быстро работал (что в Стамбуле не в каждом отеле найдешь). На завтраке работает очень приятная русскоговорящая женщина, ее можно попросить налить кофе из кофемашины. При выселении из отеля работник ресепшена Иса договорился с водителем нашего транспорта, чтобы он подъехал непосредственно к отелю (что очень важно, поскольку отель располагается на возвышенности, и спускать чемоданы было бы не очень удобно), и, конечно, помог донести наши вещи до автомобиля. В номере в целом было чисто, но пол как будто бы помыли не очень тщательно.

• Francisco (10/5): Mi casa en Estambul - Me gustó absolutamente todo. Ubicación: perfecta, en una calle tranquila a dos pasos de Istiklal y Torre Gálata, cerca de Túnel y de metro. Con mucho ambiente de noche y de día, pero tranquila para descansar. Desde ahí puedes moverte a culaquier punto de Estambul, e ir andando a Sultanahmet cruzando el puente Gálata. El personal es increíble. Te ayudan absolutamente en todo, siempre se preocupan por ti, por darte indicaciones, por saber cómo ha ido el día. Destaco la atención de Cerem en la cocina, muy muy simpática, y haciendo deliciosos desayunos, una amiga ya para nosotros. Y en recepcion también Huysein y Azhar, muy simpáticos y siempre atentos a todo lo que necesites. Es un placer volver a coincidir con ellos. Hacen que te sientas como en casa. La terraza es maravillosa, tiene vistas muy bonitas y en ella se hace el desayuno. Fuera del horario de desayuno también puedes subir a disfrutar de las vistas. Es mágica! También hacen la habitación todos los días. Es nuestra segunda vez en Estambul y también en este hotel. Sin duda volveremos.

Le petit-déjeuner sous forme de buffet est simple, bon et se prend en terrasse avec une superbe vue sur la corne d’or. Idem d’un matin à l'autre. Le personnel à la réception est très aimable et souriant. Nous sommes arrivés la nuit vers 1 heure, le réceptionniste nous attendait avec le sourire. Nous avions réservé la chambre économique. Il nous a été proposé la version supérieure, plus grande, contre petit supplément. Nous ne regrettons pas d'avoir accepté.

Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse au dernier étage, avec une superbe vue sur Istanbul, est un vrai plus. Ma chambre, située à l’avant-dernier étage, était très belle et confortable. L’emplacement est idéal, à deux pas de la tour de Galata et des rues commerçantes d’un très beau quartier.

• ozgulp (1/5): NIE! HÄNDE WEG! RESPEKTLOSIGKEIT!! - Die Übernachtung wurde plötzlich vom Unterkunft abgesagt!!!! Die Übernachtung hat nie stattgefunden. Die Unterkunft hat meine Buchung um 17 Uhr storniert, nachdem ich mitgeteilt hatte, dass ich entweder um 20 Uhr oder um 22 Uhr einchecken würde. Ich durfte jedoch nicht später als 17 Uhr einchecken, obwohl die Check-in-Zeit offiziell zwischen 14 und 23 Uhr angegeben war. Die Art und Weise, wie mir dies anschließend über WhatsApp mitgeteilt wurde, war eine absolute Unverschämtheit. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Daraufhin habe ich die angeblich angebotene kostenlose Stornierungsoption genutzt und sofort über Booking eine neue Unterkunft gefunden. Gott sei Dank war es keine Hochsaison, sodass ich wegen dieser unfreundlichen Leute nicht auf der Straße stehen musste. Vor allem erwarte ich eine respektvolle Kommunikation! Sie haben mir völlig unnötig die Nerven geraubt – mitten in all meinen Verpflichtungen. Wenn Sie keinen Ärger und keine Respektlosigkeit erleben möchten, kann ich nur raten, diese Unterkunft zu meiden.

• Kristina (10/5): Das kleine, familiäre Hotel mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht von der Dachterrasse liegt perfekt in einer sehr guten und - Das kleine Hotel mit 15 Zimmern liegt in einer perfekten Gegend. Die Straße vom Hotel selbst ist eine Handwerkerstraße, aber schon eine Parallelstraße weiter gibt es sehr viele Läden und es ist sehr belebt. Außerdem gibt es eine Metrostation und die kürzeste U-Bahn der Welt direkt in der Nähe. Die nächste Shopping Straße Richtung Taxim Platz ist auch nicht weit entfernt. Der beliebte und schöne Galata Tower ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Bis in die Altstadt sind es circa 30 Minuten zu Fuß, aber auch öffentlich sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht zu erreichen. Das Hotel verfügt über eine Dachterrasse, von der aus man einen herrlichen Blick auf das goldene Horn und auch auf viele Moscheen der Altstadt hat. Das Frühstück bietet warme und kalte Speisen und wird auf der Dachterrasse serviert. Im Winter ist diese winddicht geschlossen und beheizt. Die Köchin Jeren sorgt nicht nur für gutes Frühstück, sondern auch für eine tolle familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Personal an der Rezeption, vor allem Huseyn, ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und spricht gut Englisch. Die Zimmerrubrik, die wir gebucht hatten, war sehr klein. Auf den Fotos sah es nach mehr Platz aus. Die Zimmer 103, 203, 303, 403 und 503 sind alle gleich groß bzw. recht eng und ohne Schrank. Im Badezimmer kann man sich kaum bewegen. Die Zimmer 101 und 201 sind noch kleiner. Es gibt allerdings auch größere Zimmer, die für einen Aufpreis zu bekommen sind. Verwirrung gab es, weil das Hotel eigentlich Taxim Terrace heißt und nicht Big Urban Stay. Es wird auch eine Adresse nebendran angegeben. Darum hat der Taxifahrer es zuerst nicht gefunden. Ein Hotelschild mit Big Urban Stay gibt es nicht. Mit so einem Schild außen am Hotel wäre alles einfacher gewesen.

• Hanitha May (9/5): Great location and friendly staff with an amazing sea view, but the bathroom was very small. - The location was very convenient, close to Şişhane Metro Station and within walking distance of Galata Tower, Taksim, and İstiklal Street. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was satisfactory. The sea-view room we booked had an amazing view, which we absolutely loved. I wish the bathroom had been bigger or at least offered more space, especially in the shower area. Even as a petite woman, I found it difficult to move comfortably. I also hope the bed linens were properly cleaned or freshly changed prior to our stay.

Muchas gracias 🥰 La ubicación es excelente NO ENTIENDO PORQUE TIENE TAN BUENA VALORACIÓN La habitacion que reservé con vista al Bosforo le hace falta mucho mantenimiento. - La cama completamente hundida de un lado - Las ventanas no cerraban bien por lo que entraba mucho frio y ruidos insoportables hasta la madrugada - El baño dejaba muuucho que desear, puerta de cristal sin cerradura por lo que privacidad CERO, sucio y demasiado pequeño. Nos cambiaron a una habitación mas cómoda y eso lo agradecemos. La limpieza deja muuucho que desear: - Primero que la señora entraba a la habitacion aunque no pongas el cartel de limpieza. - Toallas sucias - Pusimos una vez el cartel para que limpie y solo repasó un poco el piso jajaja. - Una vez entró con nosotros estando adentro y sin haber puesto el cartel!!!! Una falta de respeto. El desayuno bastante escaso pero la señora era tan amable que no importaba.

• Yumusaklar (3/5): Ich war 4 Nächte im Hotel. Das hat mein Aufenthalt in İstanbul negativ beeinflusst. - Nichts Das Zimmer wurde bei der Buchung mit 12qm angegeben. In Wirklichkeit war es ca. 8 qm davon ca 2qm für die Dusche abzuziehen. Kaum konnte man sich im Zimmer bewegen. Das Personal war nicht kooperativ. Ich war bereit gegen Aufpreis das Zimmer zu wechseln. Das war nicht möglich. Ich kann das Hotel niemanden empfehlen.
• Boris (7/5): No sound isolation. We had hard time to sleep. - Staff was friendly and view was really nice. Location is great. Breakfast was okay. Biggest problem is that windows are not properly sealed when they are closed - there is gap between frame and seal so all the noise from busy street and neighbour clubs is coming in + humidity . We even found 2 mosquitoes in the room during winter. Rooms are extremely small especially bathroom.
