• Murat (6/5): Great Nature Experience, Not Ideal for Everyone - The location of the house is absolutely amazing. It is only a 1-minute walk to Yanui Beach. The sea and underwater life are fantastic, making it a great spot for swimming and snorkeling. Even on windy days, the bay remains calm and protected. The house is surrounded by nature, so you wake up to beautiful bird sounds in the morning. There is also a restaurant right next to the property, which is very convenient. Upon arrival, the host informed us that there are rats outside, so we were told not to leave any food in the house and to keep the kitchen window and garden door closed at all times. Because of this, we were advised not to cook inside the house and to use the outdoor stove in the garden instead. In the evenings, we could actually see rats through the bathroom window, and there were rat droppings on the counter where the outdoor stove is located. It felt like there were constant attempts by animals to enter the house at night. Overall cleanliness was below expectations. While the bed sheets and towels were clean, the house itself was not. Cabinets were not clean, furniture was dusty, and there were spider webs in many areas. The insulation between the house and the garden was poor, so mosquitoes and ants could easily get inside no matter what precautions you take. Because of mosquitoes, it was not really possible to sit comfortably in the garden. There was a very strong and unpleasant smell somewhere between the bathroom and the stairs leading upstairs. It could have been caused by a dead rat inside the structure or a sewage leak, but in any case it was disturbing. Although waking up to bird sounds is nice, the birds do not stop making noise during the night, which can interrupt sleep. Tree branches from the surrounding forest touch the roof, and on windy nights the sound of branches hitting the roof can be quite loud. These branches clearly need regular trimming. The host has very strict rules. We paid a 300 USD deposit. On the last evening, I ran out of cash and asked if I could get part of the deposit back earlier, but this was refused. Checkout time was 11:00. At 10:45, the host came in while we were still inside to inspect the house and returned the deposit. We asked for 15 more minutes, but exactly at 11:00 the cleaner entered the house and started cleaning while we were still dressing and packing our luggage.

• Ivan (10/5): Exceptional - We like the location, it is just perfect beside the beach 3 minutes walk. Regarding the house, only 1 thing: The rack for linens drying was completely rusty, so if you dry light coloured clothes, it has rusty traces, which is impossible to wash away. So, it should be replaced or sanded and painted again for normal use. Beside the house you have only two cafes to eat which are closing around 7 pm mostly. The villa has his own very well equipped kitchen, but no goos stores to buy food at the walking distance at all, so consider to have your own transport once you rent this villa.
