• Kai-Uwe (9/5): Beeindruckende Unterkunft mit sehr netter Gastgeberin. - Die Leopard Lodge liegt wunderbar angelegt in einer abgesicherten Wohnanlage. Gastgeberin Kim ist sehr bemüht um ihre Gäste und hat viele Tips für Aktivitäten und Restaurants. Das Frühstück ist sowohl kontinental als auch mit z.B. Overnight Oats umfangreich und abwechselnd. Auch für Veganer geeignet! Bei gutem Wetter findet das Frühstück auf der überdachten Terasse mit Blick auf die grünen Hügel statt. Das großzügige Wohnzimmer beinhaltet einen gemütlichen Kamin. Den Gästen steht eine Bar mit Getränken und Snacks auf Vertrauensbasis zur Verfügung. Einen kleinen Downgrade gibt es in Bezug auf die Ausstattung mit einfach verglasten Fenstern und Waschbecken mit zwei getrennten Wasserhähnen. Während unseres Aufenthalts Ende April kam es nachts schon zu einstelligen Temperaturen, wodurch es im Schlafzimmer nicht so richtig kuschelig warm war. Im Sommer ist dies sicherlich keinerlei Faktor.

• Schormans (10/5): Heerlijk ontspannen verblijf in een prachtige omgeving - Het huis is zeer gezellig, sfeervol en ruim. De tuin is prachtig met overal mogelijkheden om te zitten. Kim is een fantastische gastvrouw. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en zeer uitgebreid. Geen opmerkingen
• Stefanie (10/5): Verstecktes Juwel - Einfach alles - die Eigentümerin Kim kümmert sich rührend um einen und gibt hervorragende Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflüge. Es war immer sehr nett sich mit ihr zu unterhalten und sie hat jeden Morgen ein gesundes, selbstgemachtes Frühstück für uns gezaubert - dieses werden wir vermissen!! Die Aussicht vom Zimmer war richtig toll und es war sehr ruhig. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

• Livia (10/5): Wunderschöne Tage in Hermanus - Die Lodge liegt sehr schön mit einem verwunschenen Garten, ist äußerst liebevoll eingerichtet und die Hausherrin kümmert sich perfekt um ihre Gäste. Wir fühlten uns wie zu Besuch bei Freunden und genossen das sehr. Nicht zu vergessen auch das Frühstück war genauso liebevoll und vielfältig, wir können diese Unterkunft nur aufs wärmste empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden, rein gar nichts.

From the moment we arrived, Kim welcomed us with such warmth and genuine care that we immediately felt completely at ease. She is an exceptional hostess — thoughtful, attentive, and effortlessly making every guest feel special without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she pours her heart into every detail of the experience. The lodge itself is stunning — beautifully designed, peaceful, and perfectly positioned — but what really sets it apart is the atmosphere. There’s a calm, comforting energy that makes it so easy to unwind and simply enjoy being there. What stood out most was how natural everything felt. Nothing forced, nothing staged — just genuine hospitality at its best. By the end of our stay, it honestly felt like we were leaving a place we belonged, rather than checking out of a hotel. We only wish we had stayed longer — and that says everything. We will absolutely be back. Absolutely nothing

The room was complete luxury with lovely personal touches such as homemade treats to help ourselves to. The property is set in a complete oasis and you enjoy a delicious breakfast listening to the birds and overlooking nature. Kim helped us plan our days and helped with restaurant bookings and completely made our trip to Hermanus. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.

• Gill (10/5): Fabulous Leopards Lodge. A hidden gem! - Absolutely stunning guest house. Kim has thought of every detail to make guests feel so comfortable and welcome. Lovely room with a superb view of the gardens and hills. There is so much bird life to sit and watch from the huge balcony. Loved all the complimentary home-baked goodies! Beautiful breakfast overlooking the stunning gardens. Kim's attention to detail is much appreciated. We will be back! It was all perfect.

The accommodation is superbly comfortable gardens & pool charming . The host has created a superb lodge - a most welcoming enjoyable stay. Breakfasts also 5 Star !! Absolutely nothing except having to leave at end of stay.

• Sabine (9/5): New find close to Hermanus - Beautiful property with stunning hill views at the valley of Hemel and Aarde and the soul is the kind owner Kim, who really made our stay personal, attentive and warm. Our room was clean, quiet with all comfort and orientate to a lush garden with beautiful mature plants through wich the sun came up in the morning. Breakfast was fresh and you could choose hot dishes. All was fine.

Even though we were one of the first guests of this place, everything was so well organized and beautiful. The rooms are outstanding, the pool and the garden are heavenly and Kim was the perfect host. Interested, warm and made us really feel like home.

• Animo (9/5): Relaxed days in the Hemel-’n-Aarde Valley - We had a wondeful stay at Leopard lodge on the last weekend of our trip to South Africa, and were touched by Kim’s hositality and the beautiful space she has created. Our room and the whole house are beautifully kept and every detail reflects good taste and care. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view into the garden and the surrounding hills, with the most comfortable kingsize bed plus a super tasty breakfast on the patio. We would come back anytime! Everything was above average.
