• Carol (7/5): Nice flat but sadly badly equipped - The location was great and the furniture was very nice. Overall we were mostly happy with it, but, see what I didn’t like …. It was freezing when we arrived and there were no instructions for anything. We eventually noticed a switch in the kitchen for the boiler, so once we flicked that on, it started to heat up nicely. There was no dish towel or hand towel in the kitchen, so we had to use a lot of paper towels to dry the dishes! And talking of dishes and dining; the flat slept 4, but there were only 3 dining chairs and only 3 mugs! Also, there were only 2 huge cooking pans, nothing small or medium, no oven trays, frying pans, casserole dishes, microwave dishes, nothing. Yes there was kettle, coffee machine, toaster and microwave, but no welcome pack whatsoever. (Ok, it’s not mandatory, but very unusual for there to be nothing). There were no mirrors in the bedrooms, or indeed anywhere near a plug socket for if you wanted to dry your hair near one (and you had brought your own hairdryer as none was provided). Additionally there were no lamps in any room, neither bedside nor in the living room. Not everyone wants stark big ceiling lighting all the time. There was nowhere to hang your damp towels in the bathroom or en-suite and no little shelf or unit to put your wash bag down on. Additionally the radiator in the en-suite did not work. The last thing I have to mention is that the duvets and pillows were low quality and I was shocked when I stripped the bed and saw there were no mattress or pillow protectors. The mattress in the room with the en-suite was very grubby and there were a number of stains on it. I think protective covers are absolutely necessary for a rental property and they do not cost a lot to be provided (and regularly laundered), especially at the per night rate which was charged.

• Kelly (10/5): A gorgeous property that was perfect for us - We were going to a concert and it was within walking distance. The property was clean, well presented, had everything you need and excellent value. Close enough to bars and restaurants, we could not fault it. Nothing

• Sam (10/5): Delightful stay in modern flat. - Every thing was perfect, the flat was spotless and clean, beds were really comfortable, all furnished to a high quality. There was nothing I didn’t like.
• Anne (10/5): Very pleasant overnight stay in a very nice apartment - Good location, very modern and clean, fully equipped kitchen We had an issue with the lockbox but the owner quickly responded and the issue got fixed. We also need to be careful where we park, it’s free during the night on the street (which was fine for us as we left in the morning) but need to check the time on the signs. Unless there is some completely free parking elsewhere but we didn’t find it (and we didn’t ask, so our bad)
