Guest Reviews
- Guest (8/5): Very pleased and good value for money - Cleanliness and nicely equipped. Sheets could be a little softer

- chrisg3000 (5/5): Beware if you"re a mature student - It was cheap The fact that, even though I sent in proof of my student status 3wks ago, they didnt "approve" my stay until the day before, meaning I was worried that if they decided my documents weren't suitable I would have lost my money, and not have anywhere to stay. Upon arrival, despite having my documents approved, eventually, I was grilled by reception as he clearly had no concept of a mature student and, as I wasnt 22 in baggy jeans, and wearing headphones, I must be an imposter.
The room was sparse, with a hard wooden floor and a large window looking directly onto a footpath. There was no privacy if the blind was up. The sheets weren't cotton, but some form of cheap shiny polyester. The pillows were very thin.
This was just a £50 room for one night. It was worth £30, but the process suggested the owners think we should be lucky and grateful they allowed me to stay there.
The helpline, which i rang during the preceeding week to chase up the booking confirmation were friendly, yet ineffectual.
In the future I will pay the additional £20-30 and have a far less hassle free process, with far more facilities in the room, and would suggest, if you are not a 20yr old student, you do the same.

- Wilfred (10/5): We had a great stay—everything was exceptional! I’d definitely recommend this place. -
- Kılıç (5/5): Passable -
- Christian (10/5): My stay was easy. relaxed and comfortable. From check in to the room itself. - Check in was really easy. The property has a reception team where you can collect your keys when you arrive. It was a hassle free experience.
- Marsyas (4/5): Appalling attitude when student turned away and no compensation available for their mistake. - It could have been fine without the stress of being turned away on the first night and having to find emergency accommodation elsewhere. Young student was turned away on first arrival as "not on list" so had to stay at a Travelodge for 2 nights until a "clerical error" was admitted. Devastating & no refund of emergency accommodation. OK accommodation once admitted.
- Istvan (9/5): Great location perfect to charge up and focus on your studies - The coolest staff.
- Chanté (4/5): Nice place to stay but terrible upkeep. - The 2 staff members who checked me in were really nice but the staff member I spoke to a couple times during my stay was very unhelpful.
The room was also quite spacious. I didn't like that the accommodation comes with access to a shared kitchen, but there were no facilities to keep this space clean or even wash the dishes that were provided, a lot of the switches and surfaces were sticky as well.
Also, I feel the shelf above the sink in the toilets were misplaced. It came over half of the sink, and I kept hitting my head on it when washing my face - it's very cramped.
Most importantly, I was only provided with 1 roll of toilet roll for my whole stage and was not made aware I would need to provide my own until I needed it. The staff member I spoke to about it said I would need to go to the Tesco at the top of the steep hill to get my own on my last night there and when I explained I couldn't make that journey due to my musculoskeletal disabilities and my heart conditions (both make it extremely difficult and painful to walk any inclined pathway) she just shrugged this off and didn't offer any help or alternative.
They should not be this accommodation without providing utilities to keep it clean, and they should be providing essentias throughout the length of the stay. Even the most horrible places to stay will offer toilet roll. It's a basic necessity, and it shouldn't be the guests' responsibilities to buy all of these ling term household items for a shirt term stay.
- Sophie-charlotte (7/5): Good value and felt safe and cared for during my short stay. - Room was clean and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Short walk from city centre and next to tesco and Costa coffee. I really liked my room The shared kitchen was dirty and the TV had a big crack down it which ment it didn't work. There were no bin bags or hand soap which wasn't convenient for my short stay. Pillows where very flat however was happy to be given extra by staff.
- Jennah (10/5): Exceptional -
