• Beck (10/5): Calme et sérénité - une magnifique expérience - La Villa blanche est très bien située, au coeur de la camargue, à partir d'Arles on peut joindre rapidement le moulin d'Alphonse Daudet, Avignon et toute la Provence. Elle se trouve dans un endroit calme et complètement sécurisé. L'intérieur est décoré avec un goût exquis, la nourriture est préparée avec les légumes bio du jardin et cuisinée avec raffinement, nous nous sommes régalés. La literie est propre et très confortable et le lit est très grand. La chambre est grande, bien agencée et la grande terrasse avec ses fauteuils et sa vue panoramique et apaisante, invite au farniente. Les prioritaires sont très serviables et au petits soin. J'ai tout aimé à la villa blanche.

• Peter (1/5): een totale teleurstelling en we voelen ons onbetamelijk behandeld - De mooie natuurlijke omgeving en de stilte De afstandelijke ontvangst bij aankomst, zonder uitleg, vuile stoffige kamers, met onfrisse vochtige, schimmelachtige en hondengeur in huis, de 2 grote honden van de eigenaars die ons blaffend tegemoet kwamen bij aankomst en die op de kamer kwamen en tijdens dinner storend hun neus op de tafel legden. Het bijzonder slechte, zwaar overprijsde dinner met zwartverbrand vlees, koude experimentele soep van radijzenbladeren, bruin overbakken meringue met gesmolten spuitbuschantilly opgediend door een op het einde straalbezopen host. Als kers op de taart, de onfatsoenlijke en haastige manier waarop de 2e host ons de deur uitwerkte (onder andere zonder ons de factuur,te overhandigen), nadat hij toegaf van het mislukte dinner te weten (waarbij hij niet aanwezig was), maar ons geen prijsvermindering aanbood en de schuld gaf aan de 1e host. Het bejubelde terras is een schamele ophoping van losse tegels met 30 cm hoog onkruid ertussen met een moeilijk sluitende deur. Voor alle duidelijkheid, het is de 1e keer dat wij een negatieve beoordeling geven maar wij wensen andere reizigers hertzelfde lot te besparen. Wij kunnen maar niet begrijpen hoe Villa Blanche aan zo'n goede quotatie is gekomen.

The decor and ambiance was exceptional. It felt like a 4 star establishment and food was outstanding. The signs indicating the house name were almost hidden away from the road. They need to be larger and nearer to the roadside. We had a problem finding the entrance.

• J. (9/5): Fijn verblijf dat we niet snel vergeten. - Fantastische B&B met mooie kamers, heerlijk ontbijt (met zelfgemaakte taartjes) en ontzettend hartelijke gastheren. Je voelt je hier direct welkom en al snel bijna ‘familie’. Bijzondere (drukke maar smaakvolle) inrichting. Al met al was het verblijf een bijzondere ervaring. Rondom het prachtige, grote buitenzwembad leek het nog niet helemaal afgewerkt. Een betegeld terras van een paar meter diep zou het zwembad zeker beter doen uitkomen.

We have never had such a great breakfast and our evening meal was good too. The house is full of art, so interesting! The towels were a bit rough! But that is only a small thing.

• Ahlers (10/5): Außergewöhnlich angenehmer Aufenthalt - Die Villa liegt auf einer weitläufigen Anlage mit einem großen Außenpool. Das Ambiente das Hause ist außergewöhnlich mit zahllosen Gegenständen aus aller Welt, die den guten Geschmack des Hausherren widerspiegeln. Es ist ein einladend offenes Haus, bewacht von zwei Hunden. Der Gastgeber Gilbert ist sehr zuvorkommen und behandelt seine Gäste fast wie Freunde. Eigentlich nichts. Man braucht aber ein gutes Navi um den Zugang zur Anlage nicht zu verpassen.
• Rachel (10/5): We found Villa Blanche at the last minute, and it was a special treat to stay there for a few days. - It is a beautiful house in a lovely setting, but without a doubt, the highlights of Villa Blanche are its owners, Gilbert & Oliver. They are wonderful, generous hosts who make you feel exceedingly welcome. (We also loved their dog Mao!) Nothing! I wish it hadn’t rained so we could have swum in the pool!

• David (9/5): We look forward to staying here again. A beautiful property with an excellent host! - The Host Gilbert gets an A+. He was charming, friendly, welcoming and helpful. On a hot summer day in the south of France, the pool was wonderful. The breakfasts were excellent, fresh and tasty. The room was charming and well appointed. The dogs, Mao and the older one were a bonus for us! Locations had easy access to Arles and surrounding region. No real complaints. They have not been open a long time and we expect it to only get better over time. Must have a car staying here.

• jean-yves (10/5): Séjour haut en couleur à la Villa Blanche - Emplacement proche d'Arles, calme absolu. L'accueil et les informations de Gilbert étaient parfaits et précis. L'espace piscine est bien aménagé et la propreté des chambres sans défaut. De plus l'aménagement intérieur est très original, mais toujours de très bon goût. Et que dire du magnifique petit déjeuner servi en terrasse: copieux, maison, varié. Que du bonheur. A renouveller lors de notre prochain séjour en Arles et à vivement conseillé.
