Guest Reviews
- Frederic (8/5): Excellent value for money in a great location with friendly staff - Location, staff and value for money. Very large variety of drinks at the bar The variety of the food could be improved a biy
- Christopher (9/5): Top choice for the Great Migration in February - In hindsight we would have chosen an ensuite tent, being a bit on the older side... The twin single bed option was okay but it's alway nice to have a toilet and shower of your own. The location of this camp however was superb for game viewing as the Great Migration is passing through the South Serengeti in February. The staff here were delightful and the meals were excellent especially in view of the remote location. See above
Badic is prima, maarvditvwas ondermaats. De accomodatie aangeboden op booking.com is zeer slecht. Tent waar enkel 2 bedden in staan.
- stephen (10/5): As you hope a safari camp to be when you plan your deeam. - Offseason and upgraded thank you. Quintessential safari camp experience. Food and service were excellent. Rains were late so we were too early for migration but our decision was to still come and we will come back again for calving one year. I find early check in fees irritating . We therefore went for a couple of hour safari first rather than dropping our bags off and buying lunch.
It’s a bit further out than some of the other (more expensive) camps
- Tobias (10/5): Glamping at its finest. - We received a complimentary upgrade to a tent with bathroom which was a total game changer. Felt very luxurious. Very friendly and attentive staff. Super peaceful and wild feel. Nothing.

- Francesco (10/5): Tramonto nella savana - Tutto Nulla
- Montel (7/5): - Arrivée tardive et départ tôt. Difficile de juger.
- Fooe2 (9/5): Good stop in Ngorongoro. - Upgraded to a comfort tent with attached bathroom. Dusty surfaces which we cleaned ourselves.

- Cornelius (10/5): This is as wild as Africa gets. - Breakfast was great. The location was hard to find. There are no signs.
- Aditi (10/5): Africa Safari South Serengeti Ndutu offers exceptional value in an unparalleled environment! - We LOVED staying here!! Our favorite place to call home after a couple months exploring East Africa. The rooms were huge, comfortable, clean, and well-decorated. The food was fabulous (tam sana 😃). The location was perfect! Most of all, the staff was phenomenal. From the minute we drove up, Thomas and the team had us laughing over a welcome beverage. The service was exquisite—even offering us tips for our self-drive safari—and we simultaneously felt like the staff were our friends who we looked forward to seeing at the end of each day. The camp had a buzzing vibe, and we befriended many wonderful guests. This place got all the little details right for a top-quality experience mixed with the cozy feeling of being at home amongst friends. We already miss everyone. Thank you for an exceptional three days!
- Camilla (6/5): Pleasant - Generator going into the night. Impossible in small tents to get someone to walk us to meals.
- Philip (9/5): A beautiful grove. - It was one of the best camps we have visited on our journey. We liked the vibe and the location. The camp is situated in a beautiful grove. We booked a small tent unintentionally but were upgraded without charge. Thank you! There are no vegetation options at dinner.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Craig (4/5): Tent in remote location - Remote Location. Breakfast was OK and there were a few choices. We struggled to find this property (self drive) we ended up going to the airstrip and asking for help, it still took 3 attempts on very muddy tracks. There have been previous comments regarding finding the accommodation but nothing seems to have changed.
As we booked last minute we had to stay in a tent. The mattresses were very very firm and the shared toilet and shower were not pleasant. The whole area around the tents and shared facilities was a mud bath.
No provision for vegetarian at dinner, apart from rice and bread. The check in process took 1 hour after we arrived…. We felt it was extremely overpriced.
