• Oksana (8/5): - The stay wasn’t bad. There were a lot of safety rules, and I understand that’s for the students’ sake. There’s a system for locking the door when you’re in the room. What did upset me a bit was that the booking stated towels were provided, but in reality there weren’t any. I had to rush around looking for somewhere to buy one. Also, the bed linen had stains and there were coffee marks on the carpet. In the bathroom, I had to fix the shower myself, as the mixer tap wasn’t connected.

After booking through Booking.com, my reservation was confirmed, but shortly after I was asked to upload identification documents via their portal. The system did not work properly for me, and despite emailing them multiple times, I received no response. The situation became very stressful the day before arrival, when I was asked to provide additional documents (student declaration letter and a selfie), none of which were clearly stated at the time of booking. I sent the required documents by email and requested confirmation, but again received no reply. I arrived in Liverpool late in the evening (around 21:30), after a full day at university and ahead of training starting early the next morning. This was my first time in the city, and I was travelling alone. When I reached reception, I was told my booking was not confirmed, despite having paid. I then had to spend over an hour on the phone trying to resolve the issue. During this time, I was repeatedly asked for documents I had already provided. I was eventually told I needed to upload a selfie via their portal, which I could not access on my phone. Thankfully, the reception staff (who were kind and understanding) helped me use my laptop hotspot to finally send the required image. My booking was only confirmed close to 22:00. I also found it very concerning that I was told I could not cancel or receive a refund, despite them stating my booking was “not confirmed” at the same time. Unfortunately, the room itself was also unacceptable. While it appeared clean at first glance, it was not hygienic: The bed had visible debris (small black and white particles) under the duvet I did not feel comfortable sleeping in the bed and slept on top of the duvet No towels were provided despite being advertised The sink was blocked with water and unusable Overall, I had a very poor night’s sleep and felt extremely tired the next day, which impacted my training.

Las vueltas para poder confirmar la estadía (es solo para estudiantes y piden bastante documentación, lo cual no me parece mal, pero es un procedimiento medio largo). Éramos 3 huéspedes alojados en habitaciones individuales (NO HABÍA PAPEL HIGIENICO, ni toalla, ni jabón ni shampoo). Tampoco parecía muy limpio.
• Victoria (10/5): Great budget place to stay. - Spotlessly clean and very secure. Getting in is like Fort Knox, but as a lone female, it was reassuring. Lovely staff on reception. Bed was comfortable and flat was quiet. 10 min walk to city centre. There was lots of toilet roll. Having read previous reviews, I’d brought my own just in case. Will definitely stay here again. No waste bin in room. Had to put used sanitary towels in the kitchen bin, which is not ideal. Only a hand towel provided. But it was soft and fluffy.

• Lyra (9/5): Great price for a central Liverpool location - The best part of my stay were the friendly and helpful staff. Rarely can you tell that someone truly enjoys their job, and it was a breath of fresh air. They were exceedingly kind and gave me tips on what to do during my stay. They were always quick to solve issues in the apartment. I stayed in two rooms during my time here. One room had a broken chair, and the other had faulty drawers. During my stay (just before I left), the staff were busy prepping new furniture, etc for the new year. So just something to keep in mind if you're staying around late August-early September time, that there may be one or two things out of place. But I can't fault the staff as they were happy to fix these problems once you let them know.

• Madeline (10/5): Clean, comfy and nice. - It was a great spot and an easy walk to the docks and city centre. The staff were great and lovely. The room was nice and clean and everything was comfortable had great time.

Not even toilet paper supplied. Of course no soap o body shel for showering. Not even a thrash bin. Of course no AC or ventilation of any kind. There is a huge shared kitchen… with not even ONE knife or cup haha.. trust me; spend a couple more bucks and stay at a better place. you will regret it.

Apartamento simples, tinha apenas a cama e os lençóis. Sem TV, sem itens de decoração. Na casa de banho não havia papel higiênico. o hóspede tem que providenciar.

You receive several messages to check-in online. This process requires you to upload your student ID. However, non students can also stay here but the online process requires this student ID step. Slow communication with staff via booking.

• Guest (7/5): Good Value for Location and Privacy - I really liked having a room to myself with a private bathroom. For the price I paid, I must say that thing alone was what made my stay pleasant. Also, the location was great, being very close to Moorfields station. Another thing I liked very much was having a kitchen and a laundry place. Unfortunately, the kitchen had an unpleasant smell due to rubbish not being taken out for several days, and it also appeared to lack regular cleaning. When I arrived in my room, I discovered there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I asked the staff, who kindly provided a roll, but also mentioned that guests are expected to buy their own. This seems unreasonable for a one-week stay—just as towels and hairdryers are provided, toilet paper should also be included. My room also lacked a bin for everyday rubbish, which made it inconvenient to keep the space tidy. Another suggestion would be to sell laundry pods or include them in the wash cycle, as I had to purchase a whole pack of pods for just two loads of laundry.
• Gatto (8/5): Convenient location and very friendly people working there. - The bed was comfortable and it was in a convenient location, not far from Lime St and the city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. There is a kitchen right next to the room which was handy for making tea and coffee. It’s not a major thing, but be prepared, there is no shampoo and soap, so you need to buy/bring your own. That’s to be expected really as it’s usually student accommodation. Just to let people know not to expect the usual hotel amenities in the bathroom.

The accommodation was excellent - I was not sure what type of accommodation I was going to stay in was like, but when I set my eyes on it I just fell in love with the place and even posted some videos of my room and kitchen I took to my friends who loved it the way I did. First I would like to applaud the staff members who were excellent they took me through from booking in and showing me the facilities explaining everything. My friends are looking forward to using your accommodation in future. None

• Violant (6/5): Good price, but not clean. - I liked the fact I had my own room with private bathroom, very close to the city center. When I arrived, the common area in the flat (space share with six rooms) was plenty of rubbish, the kitchen was dirty and smelly and the room wasn’t very clean. I made a complaint but they didn’t clean the area until I almost had to leave the acccommodation. In fact, the manager told me the guests are supposed to hoove, mop and clean the common areas, but nobody does it. In the kitchen there isn’t any cooking utensils. You need to buy everything (saucepans, pots, cooking spoon… ), except plates, bowl and cutlery.

• Wanda (9/5): A great base to explore the lovely city of Liverpool - The staff were SO friendly and accommodating. The room and ensuite were clean and the bedding and towels felt clean and of good quality. It was great to have use of the kitchen too. It was about half an hour's walk down to the Albert Dock. Everywhere was easy walking distance from the accommodation. Loo roll was not provided, neither were crockery and cutlery. This doesn't appear to have been mentioned in any of the literature from Booking.com, however, I rang the accommodation direct to ask and they suggested I take a cup and anything else I might need in the kitchen. I realise it could be a problem for the staff to store equipment, but it would be great to be able to hire these items, as I arrived with a rucksack and couldn't carry such things. Booking.com need to make this clear in their literature. When I messaged them, they said there wasn't a kitchen, I had to contact the accommodation for more clarification.
• Bhargav (10/5): - Location was fantastic, very close to the city centre and accessible by public transport. Some shops are closeby to pick up groceries/snacks and I appreciated the central fob system to access my room along with other facilities such as the gym. There's not much to criticise at all but if I'm nitpicking then I can suggest a few things. The wardrobe didn't have hangers in my room so I wasn't able to hang my jackets/shirts. It might've been useful to have a light switch next to the bed to control all lights in the room as well as a bedside table/shelf. Other than that, it was perfect.

• Leonie (3/5): mittel zum zweck - die Lage war toll! Der checkin lief über einen demotivierten unsympathischen security guard, der mit mir aufs zimmer gegangen ist- mein fob hat nicht funktioniert. Es meinte ich könne ihn wieder abholen wenn ich am nachmittag wieder ins hotel komme. Als ich wiederkam tat er so als würde er mich nicht kennen und er wüsste nicht um was es geht, sodass ich mit einer anderen Person den ganzen checkin nochmal machen musste und meine situation erklären. Im Zimmer gab es kein Shampoo/Seife. Das Bett war total durchgelegen, man lag auf einer art Luftmatratze. Die Gemeinschaftsküchr hatte kein Geschirr/Kochequiptment. Der Müll stapelte sich und Fliegen/Käfer wohnten schon in den Abfällen. Es stank und der Müll wurde bis zu meiner Abreise nicht entsorgt.
• Rebecca (9/5): Friendliest place in Liverpool - The accommodation had an excellent location, great amenities (study room, laundry, gym, pingpong and pool table) and was nice and quiet at night. There is free coffee in reception as well, which is a nice touch. The best part was how friendly and welcoming all of the staff were (especially Kay)! They really are a credit to the accommodation and are the reason I'd stay again. The beds are unfortunately the least comfortable beds in the world. They are so hard, it felt like sleeping on a floor. There was no handsoap provided in the ensuite bathroom, and the only light in the room is extremely bright and harsh. It was also a little bit complicated to complete the guest portal before check-in, but I managed eventually.

Que no es la "manager" de la RESIDENCIA DE ESTUDIANTES. Que OCULTAN EN EL ANUNCIO EN BOOKING.COM QUE ES UNA RESIDENCIA UNIVERSITARIA. EL COLCHÓN totalmente destrozado. Se te clavan todos los muelles en piernas y espalda. No ponen toalla de lavabo. Ni esterilla de baño (una toalla de baño para todo). NO PONEN CHAMPÚ NI GEL DE BAÑO más allá de la primera noche. Si estás 3, tienes que ir a comprarte jabón, pagando 65 libras la noche pir dormir en un colchón que te clava los muelles y sin poder ducharte ni tener toalla de lavabo. El horrible trato de la "manager" cuando se puso una queja por todo lo anterior y por mentir y ocultar en BOOKING.COM que es una residencia universitaria.
• Desirè (10/5): Clean accommodation. Location at only a 10-minute walk from the main rail station. - The location is absolutely convenient and only a 10-minute walk from the main rail station. The staff was very friendly and polite, and the location was very clean. At the entrance, there were even some additional snacks, during my stay. Additionally, there was a little gym, free to use and a kitchenette. Considering that it is a 'student type' of accommodation and the furniture was pretty much essential, there was all I needed and it was also not loud, providing comfort safety, and overall well-being. The furniture was pretty much essential but I would not complain too much about it!

• Caty (2/5): Ruidoso y la cama destroza espaldas - Que estaba de la estación de tren La cama era horrorosa, el colchón fino , con muelles, blando y destroza espaldas tío, no había toallas pedimos . Las sábanas eran de poliéster; nada agradables. Todo prefabricado por lo que se oía todo de al lado y de arriba (si de duchaba el de al lado, parecía tu ducha). Hemos estados 3 noches y no te limpian la habitación. No había toallas , pedimos y nos dieron una para los cuatro días. Todo eso por 277€ las 3 noches. Cuatro días. No lo recomiendo para nada.

Wel zit er dichtbij een pub waar s avonds veel herrie vandaan kwam. De muren zijn heel dun; ik kon degene in de kamer naast me letterlijk verstaan op normaal stemvolume. De matras, de kussens en slopen waren van goedkope kwaliteit, alsof je onder en op een soort kunststof ligt.

• Michael (5/5): - On arrival at 7.30pm the apartment kitchen was still being cleaned. No towels, toilet paper or shower gels in en suite. Waited at reception for 15 minutes for someone to arrive even thought received message to tell me to check in between 3pm and 8pm. On leaving the reception was again unattended at 9am. It’s a student complex in reasonable order. If offering short stays then should be geared up to facilitate.
