Very centrally located and nicely equipped room. We found the decoration a bit corporate to a fault, a beautiful art deco style building sensitively restored felt like it deserved room decoration with more character.

- Gerard (9/5): Fabulous and stylish hotel in Crouch End - Great location for me in an otherwise baron area of London for good quality hotels. Fabulous quality of finishes and furniture, great self supporting facilities if you want. Although a sign of laziness, a bit of housekeeping would be great, but for 2 or 3 nights making your own bed isn't a big problem.

- derek (9/5): Dao by Dosett North London is set in the former Hornsey council building which is built in a delightful Mid Century Mode - Location, design, staff No parking was a bit of an issue
- Leanne (10/5): Superb - I loved how clean it was. The team were very friendly too, they recommended places to go unprompted, explained how to get to the room, were attentive. The room was well kitted out, great shower, great shower gels, very comfy bed, lovely blackout curtains. Everything felt like it was great quality. Crouch end is a lovely place to visit and this was central to shops, bars, cafes. Huge value for money and we can't wait to return once the bar and rest of the apart hotel is finished! Nothing, it was lovely.

The room was clean and had everything that one needed for a short stay. I had to ask for the pre-authorisation of £50 to be cancelled - it should be automatic. However, it was processed quickly when asked for. A false fire alarm at 8:45 am on a Sunday morning. Perhaps due to someone smoking or vaping in their room - there was an absence of notices on not smoking etc.

- Linda (8/5): A hidden gem in delightful Crouch End - I loved the location. I chose it because my daughter now lives nearby. It is in the heart of the thriving community of Crouch End with its multitude of cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops. The brand new hotel is a hidden gem with literally no signage anywhere to indicate there is a hotel there. They have done an incredible job of converting the old Hornsey Town Hall into this aparthotel and event space. They have respected and preserved the historical features whilst creating this unique hotel. The staff were lovely, particularly Ibrahim, Maria & Vinaj. A lovely new cafe has just opened adjacent to the lobby. Good for coffee and pastries only. It was not open every day I was there. There is no other food and beverage options here but I knew that ahead of time. The kitchenette was impressive and quite well designed for a small space. The room had great storage with lots of drawers and hanging space plus fluffy bathrobes as well as terrific lighting. The bathroom also had great storage. The walk in shower was excellent. I would definitely stay here again when visiting my daughter. The room photos shown by Booking.com indicated the room had a small table & 2 chairs. Mine did not which meant that in order to eat the food prepared in the full kitchenette, I had to sit on an uncomfortable stool at the end of the desk. There was no space for table & chairs but they should exchange the stool/pouff for a proper chair. I was there 9 nights so this was annoying. There were no instructions on how to use the oven/microwave or dishwasher and it took me a couple of days to figure out the coffeemaker. There were 2 upper shelves for kitchen supplies. The top shelf was so high I couldn't even see what it contained, let alone reach it. I asked one of the staff who said it had a toaster and kettle. Neither of us could reach these items and I had to wait till the following day when there was a staff member tall enough to get the toaster down for me! Even he had to stretch. The shelf needs to be lowered. I'm 5' 4". The bathroom needs a hook on back of door to hang said bathrobe! The bathroom door wouldn't close as it was out of alignment. There is a regular shower head that I used with no problem. I couldn't use the rain shower head as it was turned against the wall and I couldn't reach it.

- Wassell (10/5): Live like the Mayor of Hornsey! - The Art Deco building with many original features. Rooms all newly refurbished to the highest standard. Situated in the centre of friendly Crouch End with its excellent selection of cafes and restaurants, plus the two local cinemas.

Hotellet er en renoveret del af det gamle, statelige rådhus og ligger Centralt i hyggelige Crouch End med alle de hyggelige specialbutikker, restauranter og barer. Nemt at komme til centrum af London med offentlig transport. Intet negativt

- Graham (9/5): Overall excellent - The staff were great - very helpful and welcoming. *Some early-morning building work noise at the back of our hotel (near our room) was unexpected. *Reception staff were often difficult to see when entering the hotel, as their check-in monitors/screens were higher than them, when they were seated.
- Sam (8/5): Dao for the Ally Pally - We rented a studio apartment for a night to attend an event at the Alexandria Palace. Location was excellent. The apartment was well equipped, had a good layout, very clean and tidy and provided bedding, towels, bathrobes, basic shower items, toilet roll, cutlery, cups, plates, bowls, coffee machine, kettle etc There was a wardrobe with a safe for valuable items. A hairdryer, iron and board. This really did have what would be needed. It was inside a Town Hall building which was easy to find in terms of location. The only issue at all was the coffee machine wasn't working properly and my partner needs a coffee in the morning! We reported this to the staff and they were immediately on it The main entrance is not via the Town Hall doors it is via a second set of doors further along to the right. Reception desk for the rooms could have been better sign posted.

- Rachael (10/5): Just perfect. - Chose this accommodation due to being close to Alexandra Palace, was only like 25mins walking distance which was perfect. The hotel was surprisingly convenient having all amenities required to provide the most comfortable stay. The room was nicely furnished and clean! Staff very friendly and attentive throughout. Would definitely book here again!

- Lesley (10/5): - This was my third time staying at the hotel. I loved my room, which was spacious and luxurious. Particular praise needs to go to the reception staff, who made me feel very welcome and were always there if needed. That was really appreciated. Thankyou 😀. The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs.
- Pavlovic (10/5): We will come Again - A brand new and perfectly clean hotel, genuine ambiance of a former city hall in the middle of vivid atmosphere at Crouch hill, with pubs, restaurants and a lots of shops just next door. Various breakfast options within 5 min walk. Bus stops are just in front of the hotel making it easy to connect to trains. Ally Pally is only a few minutes ride. All together, just what we needed for the stay.
- Isabelle (9/5): A very pleasant stay - Very good location. Lots of shops nearby and a very pleasant and safe atmosphere . The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean, quiet and very comfortable with brand new facilities. We would have greatly appreciated to sit at a table, each of us on a stool. We had only one stool for the two of us.
