• superamble (9/5): - The hotel is truly beautiful and has a very distinctive and personal style. Our room was spacious and cozy, making it a very pleasant place to relax after a day out. Breakfast is excellent, with fresh and high-quality products, and it is served on a lovely terrace which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Throughout the day, guests can also help themselves to the croissants left from breakfast (a very thoughtful gesture both for guests and to avoid food waste), fresh fruit, and micro-filtered water. The staff is extremely kind and always available to help with organizing activities or giving recommendations. Overall, a very charming The only small downside is that the room is a bit dark and faces the street.
• Madeline (9/5): - Great stay at Becino! Ideal location in central Oaxaca. We loved the breakfast on the roof -- Jose makes an amazing flat white. Our room was large and very comfortable. The staff also helped us coordinate a rental car reservation (dropped off at the hotel for us) and a reservation with a particularly hard to contact restaurant. Highly recommend! Minor nits: the room was a bit loud at night due to street noise (not a problem for us, we wore ear plugs), the shower pressure could've been stronger.

The hotel is incredible - such beautiful staff, comfortable bed, great amenities, and an impressive design! The staff go above and beyond to help you and make you feel comfortable and at home. Becino is pure style, with beautiful local artworks located around the hotel and in the rooms. We were treated to a delicious Mezcalita welcome drink from Boulenc and delicious local chocolates and mezcal. The breakfast and coffee is also impressive, the pastries from Boulenc are as good (if not better) than the pastries we’ve had in France and the coffee that Jose makes is the best coffee we’ve had since leaving Australia! The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything. We will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you again! Nothing!

Not really a luxury stay. - Comfortable beds, friendly staff, great location, and lovely complimentary welcome drink and pastries. The deluxe king room did not feel very deluxe. Overall, the property didn't measure up to how it looked online. There were no bedside tables or lamps in the room which meant pitch dark or bright overhead lights. No towel racks either and very limited outlets for charging electronics. I would've preferred fewer "extras"—like drinks and pastries—for a higher caliber of room for the $$ cost.

• Beatriz (8/5): - Great architecture and design in the heart of Oaxaca. There were great advantages with it being part of Boulenc. You get food and drinks from the restaurant delivered to your room, which was a plus. Unfortunately we expected more from the installations. We had an issue with our bathroom which we communicated. However, the issue was not resolved (the floor flooded when showering). Also, there were no hangers for the wet towels. We expected more for our money in this regard, considering the price. Also, staff were not very helpful. We asked for a taxi and we were only offered a 900 peso ride to the airport (brutally expensive). When asking for a cheaper option, we never heard back…disappointing.

I loved the vibe of the place - especially the extra details like the drinks & snacks in the rooms, the nice soap, and the aesthetic. The breakfast was yummy and the staff goes above and beyond to help their guests. I wish they had a pool! My jacuzzi wasn’t heated and that would have been nice, but I think it was broken.

Molt fosc. No hi ha aacensor. No hi ha ganxos on penjar les tovalloles, no hi ha mirall gran a l’habitació, falta aillar la llum i el soroll de portes i finestres. Et regalen coctel, xocolata i mezcal, però de què serveix si és impossible descansar amb un mínim de silenci.

• Richard (10/5): Exquisite hotel in the heart of Oaxaca City - Becino is an absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of Oaxaca. The rooms are stunningly designed and decorated with great attention to detail. They are spotlessly clean, have incredibly comfortable beds, and offer all the amenities you could wish for. The common areas are very inviting, and the breakfast is really good. Finally, the location could not be better, right in the centre of Oaxaca. During our stay, on one of the three days we did not have warm water. Also, it can be a bit noisy in the room at times, which is probably unavoidable given that the hotel is located right in the centre.

We would definitely stay here there again. - The location is close to the zocalo, Santa Domingo and many restaurants and shops. It’s associated with the bakery Boulenc across the street which has delicious pastries. It could use a couple hooks or a towel rack in the bathroom. Not a big deal but something to hang the towels.

• Abdulmalek (10/5): Go ahead - The best in the city. Book without hesitation. If I will come back to Oaxaca it will be my first choice. Also they own the restaurant across the street it’s the best restaurant in the city and they will help with booking arrangements and give you priority because it’s always full and waiting list. I booked at the time of the “day of the dead” festival and the city was loudly celebrating so it was a bit noisy. But it is manageable as I’m very light sleeper and I slept fine with the eir plugs.

• Christine (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel with personal service - Exceptional service! The staff had excellent recommendations, responded quickly to any requests, and were very kind. The breakfast was amazing, as was general vibe. The hotel is definitely boutique...intimate and personal, with lovely decor that combined modern style with more rustic accents. Jacuzzi tub in the room was amazing, everything worked great, and it was the nicest bed I've slept in for a long time. Even though it's right downtown, the hotel was very chill and quiet. It felt extremely clean and safe. I loved having the bakery across the street. Highly recommend. I loved everything so I have nothing negative to share! Go here! You will have an unforgettable experience in and out of the hotel! I speak English and Spanish and the languages blur sometimes for me, so I can't remember how easy it was to communicate in English. However, they seemed to cater to foreign travelers so I think any non-Spanish speakers will be fine.

Desde el momento en el que llegamos nos trataron de la mejor manera y a pesar de un pequeño percance al llegar a la ciudad, el equipo nos ayudó a solucionar todo.
