Microwave broken, not working 7. Rusted electric stove - I did not use it 8. Air-conditioner poured out a lot of water on the floor. Maintenance came to fix it, but operation was temperamental. Goes very cold then would go hot without us pressing any button on the remote 9. Missing/mismatched cutlery and Crockery 10. No coffee/tea in the room 11. Windows curtains difficult to open and close.

• Anne Marjorie (7/5): We enjoy the stay the view is nice - I like the look of the hotel from the lobby the rooms are okay there so many bed thats good for family but you can see the age of the room. The one we have looks old its not as maintaned like the other hotels.
• stephanie (7/5): Work on cleanliness not just the lobby - Big rooms and amenities where you can prep meals. The essence is that we were allowed to stay at the helli pad to watch fireworks. Rooms were dusty, sheets were clean but a bit old already. It was no longer white and it seems that the laundry was not that good anymore. The curtains were dirty and very dusty, causing an allergic reaction to me. The pool was cloudy and high in chlorine. I have been here 5 years ago and during those times the hotel was really great. It needs to be taken care of again.

• Christina Marie (4/5): - We used to stay here before and the rooms were okay and comfortable. And it is near The Podium and other food establishments. The room we were assigned in was not well maintained. There were floor tiles which were already detached but not re-attached. The bathroom door was creaking loudly, which nearly woke up my sleeping kids. The aircon was not able to cool the room properly. There were no utensils. Worst part was that we were asked to pay Php 400 Parking Fee saying that we were there for 24hrs already when we checked-in 40mins late and the usual check-in time was 3PM and the check-our time is at 12nn the following day.

• Apple (1/5): Bad - I honestly appreciated the hospitality of the staff. The location was also great, within walking distance to the mall and several other establishments. I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was uncomfortable, and it didn't match what was advertised on Booking.com. I had booked a 2-bed room, but the first room had an air conditioner that didn't cool the room effectively. There was no floor towel, and I even found a cockroach in the bathroom. The room was poorly lit, and the bed linens and quilt cover appeared dirty and worn out, turning a dingy white color. There was also no microwave oven as mentioned in the listing. In the second room, there were no towels, and I had to request them upon arrival. The microwave oven in that room was over 10 years old, with its white color now faded to cream, and it didn't work at all. The hallway was extremely dimly lit, and even the lighting around the elevator was inadequate. The only light in the area came from the front desk, which was shared with the hallway near the elevator. The overall experience during my three-day stay was uncomfortable and far from relaxing. The hotel didn’t have a welcoming atmosphere, and I felt more at home in my own space than in this hotel. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

• Ian (8/5): Great location decent price could do with the rooms updating and maintaining wonderful staff made are stay exceptional - Fantastic location near shopping restaurants, etc and wonderful staff, great breakfast Filipino style so UK and US / European etc visitors might struggle unless they were adventurous but very good breakfast in our opinion. The room was a little rundown needed maintenance. Aircon was very noisy and shower tiles cracked and only one door on the shower, lots of little things that needed attention.

Room was really big and there is kitchen and dining space if you need it. Room was pretty old and there were much amenities. Only shampoo and soap and towels. There were no slippers, shaving tools, etc. there is instant coffee and bottled water though. The breakfast buffet doesn’t seem yo be worth its price

• Agostinho (5/5): Disappointing and rundown - The location was convenient as it is near ADB. This skyscrapper has hotel flats and private ones. The rooms are different and so be sure to know what you have booked. I had to change as I was not provided the one I booked initially. The rooms are ok in terms of space and facilities, but rundown with clear signs of old age. Expect everything what an old flat can have. AC is not strong, but it is good and quiet. Beds are acceptable and the kitchenette good, but may not have many utensils. Be sure to ask for them. Wifi is weak and you will struggle even for work emails. TV has enough channels. Breakfast is at the 33rd floor, same floor as the pool. Breakfast will do, but the hot buffet seemed better than the cold one. The staff is very nice though and will try to solve the problems. The cockroaches, 3 and big ones. The smell in the toilet, something wrong with the air in the pipes. The light in the room is weak and the plugs behind the bed. The toilet is not clean, do not inspect behind the toilet and below the wash basin. Sometimes ignorance is a bliss.

• James (2/5): Should value for money mean settling for a room that is below your standard of living? - The location was very central if you are doing business within Ortigas CBD. It is also right across The Podium mall, which has a lot of dining options. The view from my 30th room was good – skyscrapers as well as a bird's eye view of Manila. Odd, random wooden furniture were crammed inside the small room. There were five tables too many: a console table by the door, a vanity dresser, a square dining table, a TV table and a cabinet drawer. Does anyone really need all that surface? The refrigerator was switched on but wasn't cooling, and I had to ask them to replace it. They did, though the replacement wasn't any better. The towels were brown and should be retired. I kept bumping on the corners of the bed frame because the legs were too near the edge. The place just looks very rundown, which is a shame since it won't take too much to improve the unit! The most critical factor was the unreliable internet connection; I ended up relying mostly on my roaming data. Although there is a front desk and concierge area, plus a pool and free breakfast, THIS IS NOT A HOTEL PROPERTY and do not expect hotel-standard service. It's just a condominium with untenanted units rented out by the day.

Linens, furniture, paint and even the lights need to be replaced. Linens, paint, lights and furniture are old. The smell in the hallway were also not good but not really bad either. You could really tell that it's becoming one of those low-cost hostels/motels that you pass by around.

• Shesom (5/5): Passable - Returning guest of malayan plaza since 2018. I booked and stayed in a premiere one bedroom suite room1816 on the 18th flr. Spacious bedroom and I like the bed configuration (3 beds for 4pax): 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. It has a walk-in closet; it has hot water from the bathroom sink, shower and kitchen sink. Forgot to take pictures bcoz I was so tired when i came back from the office. Will be back soon and will surely take pictures next time. The staff at the concierge were all pleasant and helpful especially Amir and i think the other one i spoke to was crysta but all of them.were all pleasant and helpfull. I also like manong from housekeeping forgot his name. Glad that the room was available that time as I need to extend for 1 night and i had a well rested day. Walking distance to podium, megamall and shang plaza as well as robinson galeria and some korean store and resto. Were not able to use the bidet other than that the bathroom is ok. As always the iron hasn't improved since 2018. No bathrobe.

They also send someone quickly to assist with our WiFi connection. They just need to buy some new towels as their towels are worn out.
• Melchorjr (7/5): I enjoyed my stay but the experience can be improved - The Room is huge, and the balcony view is very nice. The Staff are friendly, and they processed my booking easily. Since I have travelled for work, The location is accessible from the business area and is near Megamall and The Podium. The Room they gave me has a three separate beds in it, when it's obviously I booked for only my self. The Bed is pretty stiff and kind of uncomfortable, the internet is pretty slow. Hence, it is preferred to bring your own pocket Wi-Fi if you are going to bring some work to the hotel.

My twin boys love having breakfast at the Pancake House - and it's right by the lobby entrance. The hotel is so near Emerald Ave. where my mom & I love to walk around at night. The rooms are not properly maintained anymore. The phones don't work. The towels need more washing as they are not white anymore.

The towels and bed sheets do not look clean. During our second day, we were given a new room and it was nicer and comfortable . However, the internet and TV weren't working. I called and asked for helped from the front desk and they said that they will try to fix it . In the end, we stayed for 2 1/2 days in that room without internet and TV...

The room looks so old and it doesn’t look like the ones they are posting on the web nor the one they’re showing on TV in the lobby.

• Narissa (3/5): Unsatisfied customer - Room is big There was still a strand of hair on the pillow when we checked in. Not clean and the TV was not working. Have to call 2x to have it fixed. Parking fee is so expensive. Paod P700+ for 2 days stay
