Guest Reviews
- Vladimir Harkonnen (7/5): Backpackers delight - A whole traditional japanese house for yourself!
This is a backpackers delight!
It can house bigger groups.
For the price you pay this is a good deal! It could have been cleaner.
Everything is very old, it still functions though.
A window should have been opened before we came
- Salsabila (8/5): Perfect for family and friends - Everything was very convenient it took us some time to unlock the keys
- Harris (9/5): -
- JL (9/5): - Spacious, staff were friendly and responsive over the messenger, many facilities to use Nil
- Yuri (10/5): Will stay again if there is such opportunity - Almost everything, particularly outstanding customer service None
- Austin (9/5): Very spacious, pretty convenient location, pretty great deal overall - Huge space for a reasonable price!
Pretty cheap for a place pretty close to the Shin-Ōsaka station.
It was very nice to have the two toilet rooms and the one shower room all separate from each other.
Very conveniently walking distance from the Higashi-Yodogawa station! A pretty long walk from Awaji or Shin-Ōsaka, though it's a fun walk through the market street to Awaji, at least the first one or two times.
The place seems old, but pretty well maintained. I thought the decorations were lovely. It felt like living in an old-fashioned Japanese home.
Everything was rather acceptably clean.
We liked the laundromat over by the Lawson more than the Dumbo coin laundry that came recommended by the property. There were no curtains or blinds in the second-floor bedroom; with windows on three sides and early summer sunrises, it was hard not to wake up quite early.
The staircase connecting the two floors is very steep, with very narrow steps. There are plenty of sturdy handrails, but it can still be scary. If you're going to that upstairs bathroom in the middle of the night, you're passing right next to a precipitous drop.
The downstairs bedroom is deafening during heavy rain; those of us who slept there during the rainy night were kept awake for much of the night by it.
It was stressful to have such a small key to carry around, with the threat of such a large fine if the key was lost. In retrospect, maybe we should have just kept it in the lockbox.
- Soto (10/5): Exceptional - Big space. Short walk to a bunch of restaurants. Not too far to the downtown area of Osaka.
- Vladimir (10/5): I would not only fully recommend this place but would love to go there myself again if I am in the Osaka area. - It was very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. It was as spotless upon our arrival and the check in went smoothly thanks to the help of the staff. The location provided access to a a number of great restaurants, several laundromats, and the nearby train station. The kitchen appliances allowed us to both cook and store food at home. Nothing comes to mind.
