• Kathee (8/5): Very nice to have stayed here. Be prepared to walk a fair amount of distance to town. - It was clean, very attractive and updated. Very helpful staff. Although the immediate area around the hotel is not terribly attractive, it was very safe, and just a 5 minute walk to a bit nicer area We seemed to have a lot of mosquitoes somehow get into the room, despite not having windows or doors open. Occasionally a bad smell hovered on the property. It was just enough on the outskirts of town to be away from it all, but maybe just a bit too far out. They had what we thought was a hot tub next to the pool, but it was VERY cold. We came in early October when the weather was cooler and more wet, so maybe it was a cold plunge pool for the hot summer, but there was no where to warm up for us.

We were charged an additional tax on arrival despite the booking being confirmed with all taxes included. The balcony view was a vacant dirt lot filled with trucks (incl sewage). The location was not convenient.

• Erin (8/5): Lovely hotel with a great pool area - Great hotel with an easy 10 minutes walk from the centre, but also additional cafes/bakery’s close by. Pool area was brilliant, super comfy sunbeds and a great pool bar. The tennis court was an added benefit! Staff super friendly and helpful. Nothing major to complain about, however bedrooms are very dated and could do with being freshened up. We had a cockroach in our bathroom for a few days which was particularly pleasant, however we would stay again!

• Anita (10/5): Excellent service, a perfect location, and warm hospitality. - We recently returned to Porto Naxos Hotel as a family of four, nearly 10 years after our first stay when we were a family of three. Just as we remembered, the level of service, care, and hospitality was exceptional –The rooms were spotlessly clean and refreshed daily. Breakfast was a real highlight – varied selection, freshly baked cakes, seasonal fruits with staff replenishing regularly. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Kelli, the Reservation Manager, was incredibly attentive and made sure all of our needs were taken care of right from the start aswell as reception staff going above and beyond by offering guidance on exploring the island. Their dedication truly set the tone for a memorable stay. The location is absolutely perfect. Having a supermarket right across the street was convenient, and we enjoyed strolling to Naxos Town for dinner in about 15 minutes. On evenings when we preferred not to walk, the bus stop directly opposite the hotel made getting there effortless. Our stay at Porto Naxos was everything we hoped for and more – excellent service, a perfect location, and warm hospitality.

• Tracey (8/5): Very good - It is very relaxed, great location to walk to town. Staff all helpful and friendly. Pool is a lovely area, mix of sun and shade. Hotel layout comfortable. There is a supermarket across road and local busstop.

Operations were inefficient (eg bar staff needing to go inside hotel for card machine EVERY time). Some elements of room were not 4 star like the shower. Also electrics by shower were loose. We had to get tea and sugar every day from reception. Breakfast was average in terms of choice compared to all other hotels we have stayed in.

• Catherine (8/5): Really good - Lovely property in a great location walking distance to the beach and the town, with a supermarket right opposite. Very helpful reception host and friendly breakfast staff. Nice large pool. Breakfast and the pool should open earlier. With such hot days we want to be up and about early while it is a bit cooler but the facilities weren’t open. Also all the excursions start at 8.00 so no breakfast could be obtained prior to leaving (although they were lovely and did give me some much needed coffee!). Otherwise all was lovely.

• Jessica (10/5): Perfect spot! - Nice location, not in the hectic centre of town but walkable in 15 mins max (safe roads). The pool area is lovely, plenty of space for everyone and very clean. Our room was really big, handy when you have big suitcases. The pool view rooms looked lovely, hindsight we should have booked that to get more use of the balcony. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and local treats. Then reception staff were very helpful with local knowledge about beaches, buses and taxis. The bus was super easy, and the beach which is close to the hotel was really gorgeous. Cute open air cinema next door too!! Also a really good supermarket right opposite which was handy. Nothing!!

The room was dated and old fashioned, bed was not comfortable either. We were only given one pillow each. The location of the room was right beside a main road too which made it noisy throughout the night with traffic flowing. Bathroom was dated and water overflowing from shower. Breakfast was poor, had to pay for any coffees other than filter. I would not recommend staying here

• Emma (10/5): Amazing at every level!!!! - It was a home from home. The owners and staff couldn’t do enough for us. It’s beautiful, stylish, comfortable and only sleeps 33 so always felt like a private retreat almost! We will be back! Stay, you won’t be disappointed! Breakfast for for a king!

The room was very clean with a nice balcony and well functioning air conditioning. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was on the main building facing the supermarket and the second floor with easy access to the terrace where we enjoyed the sunset every evening. The bus for the beach was stopping right outside the hotel. The breakfast was nice and well varied, good selection between savoury and sweet. However, some the pies were dry and not crunchy fresh

• Małgorzata (9/5): Nice and relaxing hotel - Beautiful and well maintained property. Room was really specious and cleaning good. Breakfast at the terrace was one of my favourite parts of the day. So relaxing with a pool view and in the shady side in the morning. Great choice, a lot of local dishes, both sweet and savoury. Nice and relaxing pool area. Drinks served in real glass, not plastic cups. Very nice Aperol Spritz. Tried also Pinacolada, which seemed a bit bland. There is a bus stop right by the hotel, and ATM and big supermarket across the street. In general, I think it was a good choice in Naxos and I would stay there again. Could be a bit closer to the beach and the centre, but still good location. It’s a 10-minute walk to amazing beach bars and then you can walk to the town centre along the beach.

The pool was literally the most chilled out pool I’ve ever experienced. It was just adults. Plenty of really comfortable beds and free towels. Chilled house music. Spotlessly clean. Amazing service by Vasili the barman and the lovely Dani. The location was fantastic, just on the edge of town to be quiet and peaceful but literally 5 minutes to the beach and bars/restaurants/shops. Ten minutes to the port. The room was really quiet, despite being on the road side. Air con was really good. Fresh towels everyday. Nothing 🤷‍♀️

Breakfasts were varied and very fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel. The supermarket and bus stop right across the road was an absolute bonus. And we enjoyed the short walk I to the Port each day. Thank you for the incredible memories we now have.

(had to ask and received coffee but not milk).

Lovely, spacious, comfortable and well-appointed rooms. Stylish and comfortable common areas. Fabulous pool and terrace with lovely bar and gardens. Plenty of very comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. Pool towels provided and regularly changed which was a real bonus. Staff were really welcoming, helpful and polite. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice, nicely cooked and presented and served on a beautiful terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and were sorry to leave. It was perfect

• Andrew (8/5): A comfortable stay in a nice hotel. - A decent breakfast was provided by the hotel. Plenty of options for all. There seemed to be quite a few sweet items available. It might be preferable if these were swapped out for a healthier alternative. Overall it felt like the hotel was in need of a general refurbishment. On the surface everything was clean and well presented. However, it didn’t take long to notice quite a lot of wear and tear. Scuff marks, erodes surfaces, rust, faded paint etc. The bathroom felt particularly in need of decorating. The edges around the television were also rusty and unpleasant to look at.

Excellent breakfast selection. Would definitely stay again, thanks 😊

Staff made you feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Complementary taxi provided by hotel for arrival. 25 euro cost for taxi back to airport approx 3 miles away. Bathroom shower located in bath. Needs replacing with walk in shower. Hotel could use a happy hour service.
