• Thomas (10/5): Perfect to visit Dinan and explore the region. we visited Dinan and Cancale from here. - Brilliant rental house 10 minutes south of Dinan. Spotless clean on arrival. Dog friendly. Stylish decor and very well equipped. The stairs are steep - its an old house - but, when you master them you are totally rewarded. The ensuite master bedroom on top floor is a triumph and luxurious. The owner is very friendly. Garde/Terrace is small but good to enjoy BBQ and lavish breakfasts.

• Linda (10/5): Charming, clean, comfortable house, responsive host, highly recommended. - We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely house! Although the owner was out of town while we were there, we communicated several times via SMS. I always received a prompt, helpful and friendly reply. The key was easy to find in a lockbox at the front door. The reserved parking space is directly in front of the house. The entire house was very clean and comfortable, and seemed recently renovated. Although it is not that big, it has a very spacious feel to it. The house is decorated lovingly and is a nice alternative to staying in an anonymous hotel. It has the feeling of being in someone’s private home. There are unique and interesting decorations in little nooks and corners that we were still discovering after a few days in the house. In several places wood beams, and sections of brick and stone walls from the original structure were left visible, giving it a charming character. The bottom floor is an open kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen had everything we needed. The glass door and windows let in lots of light. In the corner is a bookshelf with some games and books as well as a guitar. Outside is a terrace with a large table and a grill. The middle and the top floor each have their own bedroom and bathroom. Both bedrooms have plenty of space for storing clothing and other items. Both bathrooms are large and have a separate room for the toilet, allowing privacy when sharing the bathroom. There is a shower in the bathroom on the top floor and a bathtub with a showerhead in the bathroom on the middle floor. The water pressure everywhere was very good. The middle floor has a small laundry room. The floor in the hallway on the middle floor is somewhat slanted, which gives the hallway sort of a funhouse feeling, but also added to the charm of the house. The floors in the rest of the rooms are level. In sum, we are very satisfied with our stay in this cozy house and would happily stay there again when visiting the area. We highly recommend it. One thing worth mentioning is that the stairs are quite steep, which could be challenging for someone who is not very mobile. For us, this was no problem. But because there is no bathroom on the ground floor, we were not able to invite someone over who is mobility impaired and wouldn’t be able to make it up the stairs.

L'abitazione si trova a soli dieci minuti dal centro di Dinan, bellissima città medievale. Host gentile e disponibile, tanto da prestarci le bici per un giro lungo la Rance, da non perdere! Un saluto anche ai simpatici gatti della padrona. Un consiglio: aggiungerei, oltre alla tenda da sole già presente, un ombrellone per ombreggiare il tavolo esterno anche al mattino.
