- Alexander (9/5): I came to the area to feel Inaka atmosphere and enjoy nature. This place was just perfect. - The ryokan is incredibly cozy and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and have a real 'homey' feel. It’s a beautifully renovated space, and while some parts are still original—showing their age but kept very clean—that vintage character is exactly what gives the place its soul. Everything was truly great. One suggestion: a small sign explaining when to use the geta versus indoor slippers would be very helpful, as most other ryokans only provide indoor slippers. I mixed them up in the morning and felt disappointed in myself for the mistake.

- Sam (10/5): The perfect weekend escape - It was the perfect little escape, the Ryokan was peaceful and relaxing with beautiful attention to detail. A real perk was access to a private onsen, perfect after a long day hiking. The hosts are a lovely and welcoming family that made me feel instantly welcome. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast which as a beautiful spread of food. Nothing!
