• Charla (10/5): Perfect Stay in Ubud - I chose Ubud because of its reputation for authentic Balinese culture and staying at this property delivered. From the wonderful staff (family owned) to the comfort of my room, I was pleased by the entire experience. As a foreigner you still want some of the modern amenities for convenience and this place offers that perfect mix. Hot showers and even hot water in the basin, comfy bed, AC and stylish decor to name a few. Greeted with a perfect breeze through the windows and balcony doors along with a peaceful view of the tree tops makes for a pleasant start to any day. If that’s not enough the staff makes you feel like a part of the family. A great example of what true hospitality looks like. Thank you to the whole family for making me feel at home! ❤️
• Charla (10/5): Flawless Hospitality - Excellent hosting by this wonderful family. From the check-in experience to the end, it was flawless. The room is extremely comfortable plenty of space including the bathroom and a dreamy bed. Fast Wi-Fi was a big plus (had to work every day) and the attentive nature of the hosts was the best part of my stay. If you want a relaxing experience just outside of central Ubud this is the place. A short ride from the traditional market for all things Bali with easy Grab car/scooter access if you don't have your own vehicle. I highly recommend this place.
• Charla (10/5): Chill Vibes and Beautiful Staff - Great customer service by the staff (family that owns the villa). They are the best part of the experience. The bed was comfy, and a great hot shower you can get lost in. The location is about 25 minutes from the city center, which is great for me. There’s more traffic in the city, so the low key vibes is just what I needed. They even rent scooters to their guests.
• Charla (10/5): Best in Ubud - Super comfortable stay. To find a place with modern amenities, extremely clean and a superior level of customer service is hard to find. They even offer quality toiletries which is not always available in some small hotels/homestays. The family who owns this place is the most wonderful people in the world. Thank you for your kindness. I didn’t stay long due to business obligations, however I will definitely return!
• Charla (10/5): Peaceful and Charming - Nestled in a traditional Ubud community, this homestay is a gem to experience. The hospitality of the family is second to none, and the peaceful environment gives it charm. The accommodation is as described, with modern amenities, which is a big plus.
• Charla (10/5): Best Bali Stay - This is by far the best experience in Bali. I am grateful to have stayed here. The family is amazing, and especially kind. Their hospitality is second to none, and deserve great praise. The photos of the property are accurate. I felt like I was amongst family, giving me security and comfort. If you need assistance to get around (scooter rental) they will help, ideas for tours, airport transportation, etc. The accommodations are very comfortable, big bathroom with a soothing hot shower. Loved my stay, and hope to return when I’m back in the country.

• Gianmarco (10/5): Must stay if wanting a local balanese experience - Staying here is an experience- not just a place to sleep. We experienced some days with the family joining them on their amazing local activities. It’s definitely an experience to try. The room is surrounded by the family temple and bonsai trees, there is a big bathroom and there are kettle, tv with nextflix, fridge and aircon. everything was very clean and the family would give us fresh coconuts to drink and eat together. Highly recommend. NOTHING!! Everything was amazing

• Jun Yoong (10/5): I had an Incredible stay where I was treated like family - Staying here was such a memorable experience. The father of the family was incredibly kind, taking me around on his scooter - not just for meals, but also to beautiful local beaches that most tourists never see. His daughter was meticulous in every detail, creating a spotless room with tasteful décor and thoughtful touches that made it feel like a 5-star hotel. If you want a truly unique stay, this is the perfect place to experience genuine Balinese culture and hospitality with a local family. I originally booked just one night, but after my first stay, I cancelled my hotel in Canggu and booked a last minute 2 night stay with D’Tulak house. I fully enjoyed my time as I am treated like part of their family. I highly recommend staying with this genuinely kind and warm family as you know that you’ll be taken care of. I mentioned that the sheets had a strong laundry detergent fragrance, and the owner assured me that she will find another cleaner who will use a non-fragrant type. I have full confidence that the family will improve on this aspect, although maybe I’m a little sensitive to smell 😅
• Mily Togasa (9/5): Perfect for a long stay - The bedroom, kitchen and bathroom facilities were perfect. Great lighting and comfortable bed. The only problem was the lack of ventilation in the otherwise beautiful bathroom with a gorgeous bathtub. The walls, floors and even the towels stayed damp and wet.

The host was so accommodative and easily to get hold of. Me and Wifey enjoyed our stay(a little romantic gateway) and we are definitely coming back, All the way from Sputh Africa To top it off they arrange a pick Up for us in the Airport. I highly recommend this place whenever you decide to visit Bali
