• Neo (7/5): Beautiful hotel, poor service - Beautiful, modern and very clean. Customer service is very poor. For starters, their introduction email after you book lacks any manners - no greeting or instructions, only a curt message telling you how much you have to pay if a child is added to the room. Like as if someone wanted to lie about the number of people they’re actually booking for. Then, they don’t tell you they can pick you up from the station- it’s a fact you have to find out yourself. On top of that, they actually have a daily shuttle at 10.50am to bring you to the Price outlet mall but again this information was not told explicitly. In fact, the receptionist told me that there is no shuttle back to the hotel in the afternoon but I found out that there was one at 2.30pm. They also refused to give us a ride out at 2.15pm when they were going out to pick up people . To top it all off, the receptionist said there were no public buses when I again found out later that they are. She told me the only way back to the hotel was by taxi. And each ride was 1700 yen. That was how much I was spending daily commuting to the hotel. Another incident was when I asked for some water to my room, only to be told, “Sorry it is not free.” I had thought since it was a new day, I could get my daily 4 bottles. So of course the added the 2 bottles that they brought to my room to my bill. A few hours later, I came back to my 4 bottles of water in my room after housekeeping ! Could they not just have brought that to me when I asked for it? I find the service really unfriendly and incredibly inaccurate. Was also told my room would only be cleaned once in my 3 days there and found that odd. But in fact, i had it cleaned every day! I really don’t know what on earth all the wrong info is for. I’m very upset that I spent a lot of unnecessary money on taxi fares when proper info and a shuttle service could have been made available. If they want to be take seriously as a hotel, they really need to train their staff better and provide a proper shuttle service.

• Junjie (9/5): - The hotel is great but the breakfast is extremely poor with children not able to enjoy hot breakfast as the adults. The hot food section is not enough especially considering the winter season. The bar lounge area is too small and too little options and we have to bring our own drinks instead. Overall the staffs are amazing, the room was excellent and I will stay here again but I hope the hotel will improve on its breakfast service.

As my child did not like pancakes, the waitress very kindly offered to make an omelette for her. I didn't like that we had to pay for the onsen when checking out. We had to pay for every staying occupant when not everyone use it. I feel that this should have been part of the booking cost right from the start.

• JosephKoon (6/5): The hotspring is very disappointed. There is no outdoor onsen and the indoor one is small. - Food quality is OK but not exceptional. It's a bit crowded during 8 a.m. session. The size of the restaurant is a bit small. Probably 8 a.m. session is most busy. Salad bar, bread and some hot food are all put in the same area resulting in a long queue.

• Christina (9/5): Extremely cozy stay in a wonderful location - Loved the spacious rooms and the modern decor and interior. The location was great and the staff was very friendly and hospitable. The onsen was clean and had many amenities - bath, sauna, steam room, and cooling deck. It was also a beautiful space filled with the lovely scent of hinoki. The breakfast was the same Western food every day. Quality was great, but got boring after 3 days because there was no variety at all.
