Very affordable for a private room and bathroom. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Glad we found this place. The room didn’t have any windows. However, I think that probably helped the room stay cool and feel secure.

• Chance (10/5): Friendly, Clean & Accommodating. - The location is perfect for the solo adventure type of person. It’s a short walk to the night markets or the old city. The river beside you offers you a gorgeous spot to walk/run at your convenience. The staff is very accommodating and they go above and beyond to help. The property is cleaned daily and worth every penny. Would definitely stay here my next time in Chiang Mai.

• Rukphol (10/5): Hotel near Nawarat Bridge - Good Location. Near market, surrounded by restaurant. Room is very comfortable. Staff is super good. It's maybe noisey due to it's next to main road. No elevator if you carry heavy luggage. Key Card Deposit 1000 Baht is too much, should be around 300-500.
• Terry D Miller (10/5): Great value for my money and I will always check to see if rooms are available anytime I visit CM. - This hotel has everything I need as a single traveler. The room is just large enough and it gives me a modern feel without being eccentric or over the top. The front desk people are always kind and helpful and it's just meters away from being in the "Old City". If I was being somewhat nit-picky I would say that arriving at the hotel and then parking on this very busy road can be challenging. I've had a scooter both years and they simply don't have enough parking out in front. The little parking that is there is on one of the busiest roads in the city. There is also no elevator so if you are carrying a ton of luggage, just know you'll have to lug it up a few flights of stairs. I know this is common in this area but it would be nice to have an elevator simply for the moving in / moving out process.

• Anita (8/5): - Es war schön, abends auf der Dach-Terrasse noch ein Bier trinken zu können, der "Garten" ist jedoch nur ein winziger Innenhof mit ein paar Topfpflanzen. Warmwasser am Waschbecken habe ich das erste Mal erlebt in Thailand, gut, um einmal ein Kleidungsstück waschen zu können. Der Balkon ist völlig verglast mit einem Lochblech aussen, man sah fast nicht raus. Fenster zu öffnen war unmöglich wegen des Lärms der Straße.

• Aneta (6/5): Lovely hotel with great staff! - We liked the hotel overall, a good location 15min walk to the old town gate. The hotel was always clean, the staff was terrific and very helpful! We wanted to book an extra room for 4 nights and they kindly made it work in their busy booking schedule. We booked motor bikes for one day and everything was great. The hotel is windowless so it can feel a little dark.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean, which we really appreciated. There’s free coffee at the lobby, which was a nice bonus. They also have an oven and microwave, so you can buy your own bread and easily make toast or reheat food—very convenient for a longer stay. The room was nice and comfortable. We booked the room for 4 people, but we were actually 5 people, and it still felt okay for us. The beds were comfy, the toilet was clean, and everything we needed was there. The only small downside is the stairs/elevator situation—if you’re staying on the 4th floor, it may be a bit inconvenient. But honestly, it wasn’t a big issue for us. Overall, it’s a really good place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it 👍 As i mentioned the no Elevator

• Alexandra (5/5): Not a very restful experience. - Bed and pillows were comfy enough. The walls of the rooms are paper thin, so during the night we experience a few days of unpleasantly noisy neighbours which didn't help the resting time. One morning we didn't have water, although that has been sorted during the day. Shower didn't drain properly leaving a lot of water in the tray. The staff was confused about the deposit policy and we had a misunderstanding during the process. On the location, definitely quieter than city centre however not so close to amenities (7-Eleven) or attractions.

Kidn and friendly staff, Pookky was so helpful with our queries, and tour booking, and her English is really good. They have a small kitchen corner at the reception area where you can warm up your food and make tea. It's a pretty good touch from a hotel. Everything was great. I will definitely come back.

• Terry (9/5): A modern place with a great location which provided everything I needed and I would return here. - I like that the room and hotel was modern and not outdated. Things seemed new and were in working order and although the room was a little bit on the small side overall, it was big enough for just me. The actual layout and design of the bathroom was a little congested regarding the doors and the overall space that's provided. It would be nice if there was a working elevator because sometimes carrying a ton of luggage up or down the stairs can be frustrating. I also didn't like the way the door lock was so close to the frame. This might sound crazy but locking and unlocking the door with a physical, metal key was actually a pain and was mildly annoying.

The best part, though, was the front desk staff. They were hands down the most lovely and helpful people I’ve ever encountered. They made the check-in process smooth, offered great local recommendations, and always greeted me with a smile. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—this hotel truly exceeded all expectations! Highly recommend!

I also stayed in room 403 I which has three beds in it ideal for a small group for a few nights To be honest the only thing the property can do to make the stay better is get safe deposit boxes . However the cleaning staff are very friendly and really honest . It’s more of a safe mind thing .

• Dickinson (8/5): Great location and comfortable - Great location for the riverside with plenty of food options a short walk away. For the brave it's walking distance from the old town but beware of the heat of you're going to do it. Room was comfortable and well appointed for the money Noise of other guests moving around the hotel were very intrusive in the room. It didn't affect my sleep so much but my partner struggled
• Baptiste (7/5): Good hotel, but noisy at night. - Rooms are big enough, very clean ! Location is pretty good but you have to walk a bit More space in the room would be good, the rooms facing the street are quite noisy as there is a big crossing right underneath. You can also hear the neighbours, had to knock on 2 occasions to ask them to reduce noise.

• Rick (7/5): Good hotel for the room rate in a great area. - Great location and value for money. Room had a good shower and was clean. Staff were helpful. Walls are very thin, you can hear everything from the neighbouring rooms. Could use mattresses toppers on the beds for more comfort.

• Mich (7/5): Not bad ! - Friendly staff, bed are comfortable, reasonable price ! Abit noisy during morning and night time because it’s near the road . And there’s no any mini mart nearby . And no lift , you have to carry own luggage to your room. On 1/1/25-2/1/25 there’s no water supply , we can’t shower at all.

• Michael (7/5): Nice and modern hotel - Clean, modern, comfortable bed and good shower. Within walking distance of night markets and riverside bars The hotel room we chose had no window (our own mistake) which made the rooms feel smaller and darker.

• David (10/5): A fantastic hotel that is modern, clean, and great value for money - It was a lovely hotel. Very clean and all of the facilities worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is quite artistic on the outside with the spaceman! The location is ideal and is a lovely part of Chiang Mai near the river but also easily accessible to the city centre. It would be better if breakfast was served at the hotel

Great staff who are very helpful, good house keeping every day, nice and relaxed atmosphere but still close to a lot of markets, food, cafés. I ended up extending my stay and canceling a different hotel reservation, because I wanted to stay at Goya longer.
