Glennis (10/5): Perfect place to recharge and enjoy the local sites. The host could not be kinder from taking your bags to your room to - As soon as you arrive you feel very welcome and relaxed. The townhouse have been renovated to the highest standard with all finishes considered. Once inside your apartment you notice that care has been taken to again make you feel very welcome and relax into your stay. With a basket of bread, biscuits and milk in the fridge you can take time to get settled and enjoy the beautiful apartment.

Straight away you knew the accommodation would be good. The rooms and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. The room had fresh tulips. The kitchen area had everything we needed to make teas and coffees and a lovely welcome hamper.. Location was great so many restaurants and lovely wee bars within 5 to 10 mins walking distance. Trams into city centre and the airport the same just within walking distance We met our host who was genuinely interested in how our stay was and who helped us out with holding our luggage until our flight times. There was nothing we didn't like

Katrina (9/5): Wonderful suites in Leith - Wonderful facilities, lovely area (despite being in Leith it was a short bus ride to the town centre), spacious room with a separate bedroom for my daughter. Loved the cereal, fresh bread and milk provided for breakfast. We'd definitely stay here again! There were a lot of stairs to our suite but there are lower suites for people with mobility issues.

The supplied welcome pack had lovely bread in it and the coffee pods were welcome. We would have liked a hob for making our six month olds dinners but it’s not an issue.

The most cleanest and pleasant room and if you have kids they are in for a delight with the loveliest joint kids room with the sweetest bunk bed! Highly recommend this place! There was only everything to love!

Ewa (9/5): - We absolutely loved our stay in the Townhouse and would go back in a heartbeat on our next visit to Edinburgh. You can just tell the owners have an attention to detail, as the place is tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, which is something I always appreciate. We were absolutely famished when we checked in and greatly enjoyed some bread, butter and shortbread with coffee on arrival. This was a nice touch. Another detail we loved was the fresh flowers in the hall and in the apartment, it really makes a difference. Loved the bathroom too. Great place all round. Not deal breakers but just some feedback for owners on what to action going forward to keep the place looking fantastic: -the toilet seat is loose and moves when using -no toilet brush -some mould in the shower door -perhaps net curtains in the room for privacy during the day as it's almost on street level

Cornelia (10/5): Tolles Appartement - sehr nette Gastgeber - Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und man hat sich gleich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Appartements somind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Als Willkommensgruß gab es Brot, Butter, Milch, Müsli und Kaffee. Es gab auch Tipps wo man in der Umgebung Frühstücken bzw. Essen gegen konnte. Die Tram- und Bushaltestellen waren in der Nähe. Wir hatten das Problem wegen Streik, dass wir länger bleiben mussten. Wir hatten Glück und konnten noch 2 Nächte bleiben, auch total unkompliziert. Auch sonst, wenn wir Fragen hatten, kam schnell eine Antwort. Sofort gerne wieder und sehr zu empfehlen für Familien mit 1-2 Kinder.

Inga (10/5): Wer sich wirklich wohl fühlen möchte, sollte hier unbedingt buchen - tolle Gastgeberin - Sehr hochwertig ausgestattet mit viel Charme. Die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft war sehr gut. Die warmen Worte zum Empfang waren sehr nett und hilfreich. Die Geste, dass es Milch, Butter, Brot, Kekse und Müsli gab hat uns noch viel wohler fühlen lassen. Die Badezimmer hat ein wenig geklemmt.

Silvia Maria (10/5): Edimburgo ci è piaciuta molto - Suite familiare bellissima, non abbiamo incontrato di persona i proprietari ma la comunicazione con i messaggi perfetta! Pur non avendo la colazione compresa al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato un barattolo di cereali, del pane e nel frigorifero latte e burro per la colazione. Un angolo cottura con bollitore, tostapane, forno con funzione normale e microonde, lavastoviglie. Dalle fotografie di booking si vedeva che la suite era bella ma ha superato le nostre aspettative. Consigliatissima Niente da migliorare, tutto perfetto
Allison (10/5): Amazing and wonderful stay. - I don’t even know where to begin, this place was amazing! It was beautiful inside and so welcoming. Erika communicated clearly and answered every question. Room is huge, very clean, comfy bed and nice hot shower. We were given a loaf of fresh baked bread which we toasted for breakfast. There is a tram about 7 min walk, and few bus stations within walking distance. If you don’t want to stay in the main part of Edinburgh where the craziness is, this is the place for you. After being out all day, this place was so comfortable to just whine down. Washer and dryer available for guest, which is a HUGE bonus. I definitely recommend this place. I personally fell in love with Scotland and hope to be back and stay here again. Only negative I have, which isn’t a huge negative, there is no elevator (lift). So if you are like me and an over packer with a HUGE suitcase, be prepared to carry it.

Armin (10/5): Besser geht nicht! - Ein liebevoll restauriertes Stadthaus welches sehr sauber und stilvoll und willkommen geheißen hat. Das Zimmer war perfekt und luxuriös ausgestattet. Die originale Englische Inneneinrichtung mit Stuckdecke und klassischen Möbel haben uns ein Gefühl von Palast gegeben. Die Betten waren exzellent, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet und auch das kleine Bad war sehr sauber und wie neu. Darüber hinaus war in der Küche ein großer Laib frisch gebackenes Brot, Butter, Milch und jede Menge Kaffee und Tee. Vielen Dank für diese außergewöhnlich gute Übernachtungen an diese perfekten Gastgeber! P.S: Erwähnen möchte ich noch die gute Lage am Park mit kurzem Fußweg zur Strassenbahnstation und ins Zentrum von Leith. Der Pub um die Ecke ist übrigens sehr landestypisch und Fremde werden herzlich aufgenommen. Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer war über das Häusermeer und nicht über den Park, jedoch war dies vollkommen egal, da man bei diesem schönen Zimmer nicht rausschaut.

Kyla (10/5): Lovely! - Fabulous view made the stairs absolutely worthwhile. Classy decor and clever use of space. Being in the roof space it was a bit noisy in the strong winds when we visited ( though no other noise at all).
Axel (10/5): - Sehr ruhige Lage. Sehr bequemes Bett. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Großzügige Platzverhältnisse. Es gibt eine separate Badewanne, die auch benutzt werden soll… Klasse Dusche! Wir haben als Willkommensgruß Brot, Milch, Müsli und Butter vorgefunden. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten in der nächsten Querstraße. Gute Verkehrsanbindung an Bus&Tram. Leider haben wir übersehen, dass es kein Kochfeld in der Küche gibt. Es wäre schön, wenn dies in der Beschreibung deutlicher dargestellt wäre.
Goose (8/5): Happy with our stay and will use again if in Edinburgh - Location worked for our short trip. Happy with bedroom size and bathroom was also spacious. Erika & Alexander very friendly and keep in touch if needed. Also helpful with information about the city. Room was not made up in the morning. We stayed downstairs so it was a little challenge carrying large or heavy suitcases down the staircase. We did find we could easily hear our neighbours walking around upstairs.

Andreea (10/5): Ne-am simțit grozav la The Townhouse, il recomandam cu încredere, iar dacă ar fi să ne întoarcem, am alege din nou aceas - Camerele frumos decorate, spațioase și confortabile. Este usor de ajuns în centru. Transportul către oraș se face chiar de lângă proprietate. Produsele de igienă oferită, marca scoțiană sunt deosebite😌. Gazda a fost atentă la detalii, am primit cereale, lapte, ceai, cafea și o paine sănătoasă și gustoasă. În baie și zona de bucătărie a fost prea frig pentru modul în care suntem noi obișnuiți.
Cara (10/5): My new go to place to stay! - Such a beautiful building within a quiet location. My kids loved the bed hidden behind the curtain and it was great having a bath AND a shower! The little breakfast basket was an added bonus. Getting into the centre was really easy with both bus and tram stops nearby. Not so much a dislike from myself but I understand that it could be from someone else. If you are a light sleeper or don’t like the sound of the wind, I’d recommend booking on a lower floor. Staying at the top, the noise is more noticeable.
Stefan (9/5): Wir kommen wieder! - Die Lage ist sehr schön da sie auch in der Nähe meines Sohnes ist. Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis war auch sehr gut! Die Ruhe ist auch ein Super Plus! Das Einzige ist das Waschbecken das keine Wasser misch batterie hat.

Viki (10/5): - The hotel was beautiful. I was emailed the door code before arrival, but a lovely member of staff also came to meet me and show me to the room and around the room facilities. The room was glorious, even better than it looked online and the additional touches like the bread and muesli really made a difference. Total comfort in an amazing location. I will definitely be going back. Nothing that I didn't like. Honestly just a brilliant experience.

Jaimee (10/5): Absolutely Beautiful Townhouse in a Great Location! - We stayed in 6 locations during our visit to Scotland and this was our favorite! I was traveling with my husband and 18 yr old son and 19 yr old daughter. They loved staying in these cool bunkbeds during the trip and enjoyed that they still had their own private room. While we shared a bathroom, it was big enough and the shower was hot enough! I couldn't get enough of the Highland Soaps in the kitchen and bathroom to try. The little details stood out. The complimentary, coffee, tea, milk and granola were a nice and much appreciated touch. The drapes blocked all the light and the room was quiet for peaceful sleep. I also loved the ability to do some laundry. Free parking along the park was an added bonus, for our larger van! The location was also great. We had plenty of places to walk to at night for dinner and a pint. While my daughter and I took one of the buses into Edinburgh that left from right out front of the townhouse. I preferred staying here, to staying in the historic area of the Royal Mile which we have done before. The hosts have gone out of their way to provide a beautiful place to stay with all the comforts of home.
Caroline (7/5): Disappointing - Good location, clean, welcoming, very well presented. Lot of care taken over furnishings. Very comfy bed. Misleading listing. Nowhere did it say that the room I was in would be below ground level and that people walking on the pavement to and from work would be able to look down directly into the room. As it was winter and dark early in the afternoon and late in the morning, I had to have the curtains closed if I wanted the lights on. I couldn’t even sit in bed with a cup of tea in the morning with the curtains open. I raised this with the owner on arrival, he said it was a lovely room and that I would like it. He said there was another room but it was much more expensive and he was sure I would like this one. He told me I should stay in it and see what it was like which I did. I didn’t see him again. The image of the building in the listing shows rooms with large windows. I would not have stayed here had I known I would be in a dark room, visible to passers by. The room needs a bolt - I felt very vulnerable being a woman in my own, people able to see me from the street and no way of securing the room (anyone could have come in with a keypad access to the room).
Tara (10/5): A lovely base on the Links - Beautiful new hotel. Lovely suite, high ceilings, great decor. So spacious and relaxing. Nice location on Leith Links. Very good communication in the lead-up and during! Great value for money at the rate we paid.
