• Jessica (10/5): Molto bello e rilassante! Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare qui! - Struttura molto raffinata, bene allineata al paesaggio sia nella struttura esterna che negli interni. Il panorama è stupendo e pyrgos stessa merita per pernottare e fare delle visite diurne. Il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile. Ho apprezzato molto la loro gentilezza e professionalità. La camera era pulita e profumata, il letto comfortevole, gli spazi provvisti di tutti i comfort utili a trascorrere qualche ora di relax in stanza e nel terrazzino. La colazione è molto varia e di buona qualità, è carino il fatto che te la portino in stanza e si possa fare in piena privacy mentre si guarda il mare.

The private pool was so welcome and the room was so well appointed. Wide range of choices for breakfast which was delivered to the room. The staff were so friendly and helpful with lots of tips. We both had massages which were great and organised really efficiently by Ark. can’t recommend Ark enough. The views were also stunning. Nothing we didn’t like.

• Yvan (10/5): Très satisfait de notre séjour - Nous retiendrons de très nombreux points positifs de notre séjour de 4 nuits dans cet établissement pratiquement neuf. Les matériaux sont de qualité, et tout a clairement été pensé pour offrir aux clients un excellent niveau de confort, avec en prime une petite piscine privée sans prétention, mais offrant une pleine vue sur la mer, idéale pour se détendre en fin de journée. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bien servi. Une petite carte complémentaire permet également d’ajouter des préparations culinaires locales au petit déjeuner classique, offrant ainsi une formule plus complète et appréciable. Seul petit bémol… la qualité du jus d’orange est reste assez basique, mais cela n’altère que très légèrement l’appréciation générale. Concernant l’accueil, Pénélope et Costa sont deux personnes agréables qui se relaient à la réception. Ces deux réceptionnistes sont toujours disponibles, de bon conseil et prennent volontiers le temps nécessaire pour répondre aux demandes. Le seul léger point négatif pourrait concerner l’insonorisation. Lors d’une nuit, nous avons entendu des voisins situés en dessous parler assez fort jusqu’à environ 2h du matin. Cela dit, cela dépend fortement de la sensibilité de chacun. Étant personnellement assez sensible au bruit, cela m’a un peu dérangé, mais cela reste un détail mineur. On peut également mentionner le bruit de la route le matin et un chien qui aboie de temps à autres. Toutefois, cela reste tout à fait supportable, et l’on s’y habitue rapidement. En résumé, je recommande sans hésitation cet établissement, qui offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

• Cheng (10/5): - We stayed at this hotel in Santorini from April 2nd to April 5th and had an excellent experience. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. We were told we were their first guests of the new season, and they kindly upgraded us to a honeymoon suite, making our stay very comfortable. Overall, the service was thoughtful, friendly, and the property was spotlessly clean. The location is peaceful and quiet, which suited us perfectly. Unfortunately, the weather was not ideal in early April. After a sandstorm and rainfall, the wind was strong and cold, so we were unable to use the private swimming pool. Even so, we still enjoyed stunning views throughout our stay. We are very satisfied with our visit.

We got some complementary food and drinks which was nice touch. Staff were very friendly. Location was great - in the center of the island, but you need to have a car otherwise you won’t get anywhere. Breakfast was tasty but after three days it gets boring. We missed umbrella in the pool area. And there were not a lot of places where to dry our wet clothes.

Some reviews mention that taxis are expensive, although we actually found them cheaper when booking with the hotel’s driver, who was both reliable and convenient. • Raíssa (10/5): A peaceful hidden gem and the perfect Santorini escape - We had an amazing stay at Ark! The hotel is located in one of the most picturesque villages in Santorini, Pyrgos – peaceful and charming. It was the perfect place to relax away from the crowds and also a great base for exploring the rest of the island by car with easy access to all major locations. The accommodations were spectacular: modern, stylish and very comfortable with great attention to detail. The pool area was perfect for relaxing during the day and night with a calm and private atmosphere. Breakfast was another highlight: it was served each morning at our room and we could choose the main dish from several delicious options, a touch that made the experience even better. If you're looking for a peaceful, high-quality stay in a beautiful and less touristy part of Santorini, Ark is the perfect choice. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return! We didn’t dislike anything!
• Arturo (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Santorini - I had to start saying that as a lover of Greek islands, so far this has been the best hotel I’ve been to. The help and attention of Penelope and Lisiana were amazing, they helped us in every need. The hotel is newly open and we can see it because all was on point. 1) The hotel is perfectly located in Pyrgos village which happens to be the most vivid village where locals are very happy to welcome you while you wander around, discover its medieval architecture, and the amazing food it has to offer. If you are lucky enough to be there during any festivities, you will have such an amazing experience. 2) The room, was always so clean. The staff cleans the private pool very often, and they are super discreet and professional. Everything works perfectly, and the colors, furniture, and layout of the room make you feel cosy. 3) Bed and pillows are great for sleep lovers, the comfort is well cared for by the hotel and you can ask for the type of pillows that suit you the best. 4) Breakfast on the terrace of your room. You get to choose a different or the same dish every day and the time you want to have it, very practical when you want to sleep over or if you need to go to explore earlier. The food is delicious. 5) Penelope and Lisiana were always giving us tips on where to go, where to eat, and what to do during the day if you have any questions, the hotel communicates by WhatsApp with you so it is very functional and practical, they respond to any message within minutes. Honestly, if you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy the island, be far from crowded Oia but also near the best beaches in Santorini, you can go with your eyes closed to Ark! The hotel helped us manage the car rental and the catamaran cruise (such an amazing experience too). You can go to the best beaches and Fira (the capital) within 10-15 minutes driving, so for us it was the perfect location. Thank you again Penelope and Lisiana, we had a great time, and part of it was thanks to you. That I don’t live there :(

• Zuzana (10/5): Dream Honeymoon! - We chose ARK for our honeymoon and we could have not picked a better place in Santorini! It is located in Pyrgos which is a quiter town on a hill right in the middle of the island which was really convienent for us when exploring the place - close to nice beaches and short drive to all the landmarks. ARK is walking distance (5-7 Mins) to amazing local restarants and bars with nice sunset views. We booked a honeymoon suite which was better then the pictures - modern and airy with views to die for! The bed was really comfortable and place was spotless clean. The breakfast selection was amazing and the smile and welcoming attitude of the gentleman who was bringing it to the room every morning was a heartwarming touch. Staff at the reception was kind and extremly helpful. They shared great enthusiasm helping us to organize our stay. We rented ATV for a few days to explore the Island and enjoy more turisty sites like Fira or Oia. As those gets really busy it was lovely to come back to our quiet and calm nook. As our flight was leaving close to midinght we ended up extending our stay by one more night just to enjoy the place for a little longer! Thank you Ark & Ark team for unforgettable holiday!

• Sebastian (10/5): The Kind of Place You Don’t Want to Leave - The Ark Boutique Hotel in Pyrgos is the kind of place that quietly steals your heart. Tucked away from the busy crowds, it offers a deeper, more genuine side of Santorini — local, peaceful, and full of character. It’s not about chasing views for Instagram or ticking off tourist checklists — it’s about experiencing the island as it really is. Our suite was flooded with sunlight from morning to evening, beautifully designed and impossibly clean. Every detail felt thoughtful: towels that smelled like vanilla cake, high-end bath products, and a bed so comfortable it felt like floating. At night, subtle lighting made the whole place glow with a kind of old-world, art deco magic. Breakfast was a daily highlight — fresh, flavorful, and with enough variety to make each morning feel new. Whether we were heading out by car or ATV, we were perfectly situated to explore every corner of the island, and we did — slowly, meaningfully, meeting locals, wandering off path, letting the island unfold naturally. And the people? The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring — you could feel they wanted you to love your time there as much as they do. If you’re not into the rushed cruise ship version of Santorini, this is your spot. It’s for travelers, not tourists. The Ark gave us the kind of stay we were hoping for — calm, connected, and full of small, perfect moments. Nothing.

• Chris (10/5): Perfect accommodation with beautiful view & great location. - This is my 4th trip to Santorini and the first time I’ve stayed at Ark, and what an amazing place this proved to be… my favourite so far Pyrgos is a beautiful location , and Ark so peaceful . Waking up to the sun sea view… and having a lovely breakfast made for us. The accommodation itself was perfect even down to the small details such as a pillow menu. Our personal pool was lovely and with serene views. This concierge was incredibly helpful and helped us organise our day and some tips on local wines to try … honestly the whole thing was perfect and would definitely come again. Thank you Ark ! Honestly nothing .

Room very luxurious and little pool just what we needed even though weather wasn’t amazing. Breakfast was plentiful and delivered to our room. Staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful views too from our terrace. A real find Nothing!!
• Souzana (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service! I recently stayed in Ark Hotel and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location was perfect and serene, away from crowds. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always eager to assist! The suites were spacious and luxurious. The swimming pool was a highlight— it offered a calm and private oasis to relax. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Would highly recommend!
