• Buscemi (9/5): Freundliches Personal! Top Lage! - Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht dort, können dieses Hotel aber sehr empfehlen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüsst und der Weg zum Eingang führt durch einen wunderbaren Innenhof. Das Zimmer ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber wie alles andere seinen Charme. Für unser Auto haben wir den kostenpflichtigen Valetservice genutzt, da sonst keine Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden waren. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten! Finde duschen in der Badewanne nicht ideal. Aber das ist wohl Ansichtssache...

Das Zimmer war überhaupt nicht angenehm, die Ausstattung sehr alt, überhaupt nicht wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Das Bad war auch sehr alt und entspricht nicht dem Standard eines 5-Sterne Hotels.

• Nathalie (10/5): Eine wunderschöne Oase inmitten der Altstadt von Avignon, die nichts zu wünschen übrig lässt. - Die Zimmer waren sehr grosszügig und komfortabel und angesichts der kalten Aussentemperaturen perfekt geheizt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels war ebenfalls perfekt, mit dem Auto sehr entspannt zu erreichen und wunderschön eingebettet in die Altstadt. Das Abendessen im Hotel eigenen Restaurant war aussergewöhnlich und liess nichts zu wünschen übrig.

• rosemary (8/5): Lovely building and room with poor attention to detail - Beautiful historic building inside the city walls. Very comfortable suite, beautifully decorated. The room was not properly prepared on arrival. There were used towels on the bathroom floor and no mugs or coffee cups. No apology from the staff when I rang to let them know, or when we were asked on leaving ‘how was your stay’ and I explained again.

El aire acondicionado NO funcionaba y nos dieron 2 estufas. Estábamos a -2 grados y con un bebé. Creo que para un hotel 5 estrellas, no es aceptable. El suelo del wc estaba pringoso. Y el desayuno bastante pobre.

D - Freundliches Personal, für die später Aufstehenden war das Angebot zum Teil reduziert. Dafür war dann der Preis doch etwas hoch. Als wir wegen der Diskothque gegenüber um ein anderes Zimmer baten, wurde das sehr schnell umgesetzt. Sehr freundlich. Es gab für ein Luxus Zimmer einige Probleme, schlecht schließendern Schrank, verstopfte Abflussleitung, defekfes Lanlabel in dem zweiten Zimmer. Das alte Gebäude behindert natürlich die Etablierung einer First-Classe-Unterkunft, und es hat ja auch einen gewissen Charme, wenn man die Spuren der Vergangenheit und die Bemühungen, den Standard zu halten wahrnehmen kann.

• Wheeler (10/5): A wonderful four nights in Avignon. Great location, and wonderful staff. - The breakfasts were wonderful. The staff in the breakfast room was most welcoming and helpful. The staff in the reception, especially Lola, were very professional and helpful. The bistort meal choices were very limited and the hotel did not have pression or even 1664 beer. The bar tender was very nice and made us feel wlecome.

Valet parking excellent Lack of menu options. We had a superior room. Very poor bathroom. Loose handles and toilet roll holder. Strange unpainted wooden tacking around the bedroom floor. Bad paint job in the room. Mastic in the bathroom rotten. Some fixtures and fittings were very tired. Two payments taken from our credit card which were incorrect. When we informed the staff we were told nothing they could do about it and we should email the manager! Really don’t know how this is a 5 star hotel. I think if it was re inspected they would be lucky to get a 4 star.

• Michelle (4/5): Not worth the high price due to loud music for external rooms. - The bed was very comfortable, large luxurious bathroom and good location with parking (for a fee) I let them know it was my husband’s birthday and they did nothing to acknowledge it but for $650 a night there was loud music outside our window from a club across the street that kept us up all night. When I mentioned it to the front staff on the morning the shrugged and said oh yes. the club. I am sorry I splurged on this property for $650 a night and did not feel it was worth it although the room was lovely and clean and the bed comfortable.

Localização boa para a cidade antiga e a ponte. Áreas de descanso e leitura espalhadas pelo hotel. Quarto confortável. O restaurante não abre para almoço nem jantar nos domingos e nas segundas- feiras,. O bar serve comida mas é pequeno e com cardápio limitado.
