• Andrew (10/5): The most wonderful apartment with amazing views! - Golden Hill sits on the side of a valley in the tiny village of Santa Maria/Aufkirchen above the small, and very smart, town of Dobbiaco/Toblach. We walked in and out of Dobbiaco to catch a bus and there is a good supermarket in Dobbiaco plus cafes and bars. The location is great for Tres Cime and Laigo Braies and Misurina amongst many others. The reception at Golden Hill tells you that you are in a very stylish and smart place and you are greeted by the wonderful and helpful owner Carmen who clearly has great taste and pride in providing 5 star accommodation for her guests. The apartment had an allocated garage right under the building which connected to reception and there was your own large lockable storage room next to the garage should you have bikes or skis/snowboards, etc. There is a gym and steam room and we really appreciated the later to sooth our tired legs. Walking into the Timeless apartment feels great as you immediately appreciate how spacious it is and quickly see the fabulous views out once you enter the main living area. Both bedrooms have good storage and the primary ensuite bedroom has wonderful views out across the valley to the mountains on the other side. The bathrooms are excellent with fabulous marble like floor and walls. The kitchen is well equipped with a good sized fridge freezer and we cooked a lot of 3 pan meals on the 4 ring hob. There is a combined microwave and oven too. There is a large dining table from which you get great views as you do, of course, from the large L shaped balcony that wraps around the side and front of the apartment and has a table and 4 chairs plus 2 deckchairs.. The fully automatic espresso machine made great coffee from the beans Carmen provided and restocked as required. I really cannot recommend Golden Hill enough – it is one of, if not the best, apartment we have ever stayed in. Nothing.
• Natalia (10/5): Lujo de verdad en Dobbiaco - Absolutamente todo. El sitio es precioso, no se pueden tener mejores vistas y un apartamento más perfecto. Diseño excelente, comodidad máxima, cama comodisima y baño de lujo. Carmen, una anfitriona de 10. Y como plus, zona de gimnasio, saunas varias y garaje incluido. Aún estamos viajando por los Dolomitas pero me parece muy difícil que encontremos otro alojamiento a este nivel. Nada!
• Nada (10/5): Exceptional - I had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. The location is beautiful — not necessarily close to everything, but the view is absolutely breathtaking and totally worth it. The place felt very safe with key card access, which added to our peace of mind. What truly made our stay special was the wonderful host — incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Her positive energy and care were reflected in every detail. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! Nothing
