Dining Quality: The overall quality of the food is high, offering a consistently positive culinary experience. Location: The property boasts an excellent and scenic location. Dining Variety: The flexibility to switch between various dining venues—ranging from specialized steakhouses and authentic Cambodian cuisine to casual beachfront dining—is a significant highlight. Logistics and Accessibility: While parking and speedboat transfers are available, the mandatory fee ($50 per room) is noteworthy. Given that this is a private island with no public ferry alternative, providing these essential transfer services at an additional cost may be perceived as an unreasonable policy. Operating Hours: Facilities such as the mini-golf course and swimming pool close prematurely. Given the Cambodian climate, engaging in outdoor activities like tennis, mini-golf, or badminton before 6:00 PM is impractical due to the extreme heat. Additional Charges: There is an excessive focus on surcharges for every extra service, including basic requests like bed decorations (e.g., flower petals). Furthermore, the €800 transfer fee between Koh Russey and Koh Rong is disproportionate by local standards; even for a luxury establishment, such a price is more comparable to private aviation costs. Complimentary Amenities: Considering the premium nightly rate, a complimentary glass of champagne or prosecco upon arrival or during the stay should be a standard courtesy. Breakfast Presentation: The presentation and information regarding the beverage and fruit selection during breakfast lack clarity and should be improved.. Pest Control: The presence of a significant number of flies during meal times is disruptive; more effective pest control measures are necessary to ensure a pleasant dining environment. In-Room Technology: The TV AirPlay functionality is currently unreliable. This system needs an upgrade to allow guests to seamlessly connect to streaming services such as Netflix. Staff Engagement: While the staff is professional, a more welcoming and friendly demeanor would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

• Masahiro (9/5): - 施設はとても清潔で、アメニティも充実していた。 ホテルがある島に向かう船も頻繁に出ていたため、時間の調整がしやすかった。 予め行きの船の乗船時間をホテル側に伝えていたが、一つ後の便にして欲しいと申し出があった。 もともと乗船時間を伝えていたのと、他には1組（2名）しかお客さんがいなかった事から予定通りの乗船時間に船に乗りたい旨を伝えて高雄事で、予定通りの船に乗船させてもらいました。 しかし、私たちの他に1組しかお客さんがいなかったのに…と疑問に思うと同時に不快に感じました。

• Gabriele (8/5): - The property and the facilities are beautifully designed. A true 5 star stay. The room service is world class, the staff are generally super nice. The resort is run by mostly 20-25 year olds, but we could feel the lack of leadership and presence, like true 5-star resorts normally have. We didn’t meet any manager. This leads to mistakes, and loss of brand/feel, which is evident from: 1. Almost zero service at pool side 2. Some menus are printed on cheap plastic, mosquito spray comes in generic large containers, which are normally used for cleaning toilets. 3. Some of the Beach isn’t clean, plastics and bottles everywhere, in front of sea-front rooms costing $600+ per night.

Anche il bagno è ampio e ben organizzato, con una splendida vetrata sul giardino e una doccia enorme che rende l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Molto bella anche la piscina, grande e perfetta per rilassarsi. Menzione speciale per la spa: area curata e sauna/bagno turco di ottimo livello. Il ristorante offre una buona scelta di piatti e prodotti di qualità. Ottima anche la colazione, con grande varietà e ingredienti di qualità. Il personale è sempre stato gentilissimo, attento e disponibile. Unica piccola pecca: non vengono organizzate escursioni a Ko Rong, un servizio che sarebbe stato davvero apprezzabile

• Camilla (9/5): Amazing stay! - We had an amazing stay at JATI Koh Russey. We booked a beachfront villa, which highly exceeded our expectations. There were several dining options, all offering high-quality food. The staff were all friendly and very attentive throughout our stay. Overall, a wonderful place to relax! Being on an island, encounters with insects are possible. On our last day, ants entered our bedroom, but the staff handled the situation flawlessly, going above and beyond by quickly moving us to another villa and ensuring we were comfortable.

• jean-paulb (10/5): Séjour exceptionnel sur une île paradisiaque 🌴 - Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour à JATI sur Koh Russey. L’île est tout simplement idyllique, posée au cœur du golfe de Thaïlande, avec une atmosphère paisible et dépaysante. Le personnel est remarquable : très nombreux, attentif, souriant et toujours aux petits soins. Le service est clairement au niveau d’un établissement de luxe. Les équipements sont superbes, aussi bien dans la chambre que dans les espaces extérieurs. Notre bungalow était particulièrement bien conçu, très spacieux, élégant et confortable — on s’y sent immédiatement bien. La piscine est magnifique, parfaitement intégrée dans le paysage. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la diversité des activités proposées : kayak, tennis, cours de yoga, fitness… il est possible d’alterner détente et activités sportives sans jamais s’ennuyer. Petit bémol néanmoins : l’eau de mer n’était pas très claire durant notre séjour, et les abords immédiats du complexe présentaient quelques déchets, probablement apportés par la mer. Cela reste toutefois extérieur à la qualité du service et des infrastructures de l’hôtel.
• Lea (10/5): - Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour paradisiaque au Jati ! Notre chambre en front de mer était exceptionnelle, avec une vue magnifique et un cadre idéal pour se détendre. Le personnel s’est montré très sympathique, attentif et à l’écoute tout au long de notre séjour. Nous craignions que les chambres proches de la piscine ne soient pas suffisamment calmes, alors nous avons pu obtenir une chambre plus éloignée, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Finalement, nos craintes se sont révélées infondées : tout l’établissement respire la tranquillité, même aux abords de la piscine. Une très belle expérience que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Proximity to mainland results in piles of trash on the shore. And the staff doesn't clean the beach properly. 2. The sand on the beach is not clear and mixed with crushed shells. We couldn't walk there bare foot.

Only slightly marred by neighbours playing their music loud and children screaming in pool next to ours for first 2 days of our stay. Quiet after that which was great.

• Lyle (8/5): Great location, decent food, questionable value. - Exceptional location with amazing staff and surprisingly decent food especially from the beach bar. 5stars would be a stretch beyond the location itself which was magical- it felt like an up-market summerhouse destination. The “homes” itself lacked privacy. Attention to detail and attention to service is needed- this was the most consistent across all of the places we stayed at in Cambodia so maybe it’s just the standard.

• Romain (10/5): Un petit paradis à quelques minutes de Sihanoukville - Un magnifique séjour au JATI, hotel tout neuf avec tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un séjour relaxant mais en même temps avec des activités pour ceux qui le souhaitent. Le staff y est pour beaucoup, ils contribuent énormément au bien être sur place, mention spéciale à toute l’équipe du bar et restaurant !

• Vladimir (8/5): Неплохо. Но не цепляет. - У нас была просторная вилла с двумя спальнями и собственным бассейном. Очень просторная. Собственные санузлы в каждой комнате. Изящная гостиная. Каждый день обновляли воду, чай, кофе. Были приветственные фрукты с шампанским. Очень удобный собственный бассейн для детей. Завтраки достойные. Неплохой спортзал с двумя беговыми дорожками и силовым комплексом. Можно бесплатно взять каяк и принадлежности для снорклинга. Отличный пляж. Хороший общий бассейн. На выбор три ресторана для обеда и ужина. Есть детская площадка и площадки для тенниса, бадминтона и баскетбола. Кухня. Очень ограниченный выбор западных блюд на обед и ужин. Часть из них почему-то готовится настолько острой, что есть невозможно - особенно для детей. Меню не меняется. Ужин в ресторане кхмерской кухни вызвал разочарование и расстройство желудка. Второй момент - на территории скучно. Только пляжный отдых. И после двух дней отель надоедает. Подумайте над нормально анимацией и активностями.

• Patrick_SD (10/5): - Villa sublime dans un cadre calme et propice à la détente ! Nous avons eu la chance d'être upgradé à notre arrivée. La literie est très confortable et la salle de bains exceptionnelle. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Tout le staff durant notre séjour a été adorable et très serviable (nous ne connaissons pas leur nom, mais un grand merci à eux). Multitude d'activités sportives à faire durant le séjour : un vrai plus ! (Seul petit point qui pourrait être amélioré, les chaises longues sur la plage sont un peu sommaires. Un coussin serait appréciable)

Best steak ever in SE Asia , and we have been to many places! - staff is amazing. Everybody is very caring and helpful also child friendly. • Karolina (10/5): - Hotel jest nowy, domki są pięknie urządzone a przestrzenie wspólne oferują bardzo dużo możliwości aktywności. Jedzenie w restauracjach i śniadania bardzo dobre. To nie jest tak, że to mi się nie podobało, ale ponieważ hotel jest nowy i liczę na to, że managerowie czytają opinie, to zostawię kilka uwag do rozważenia. - komunikacja działa bardzo średnio - np. przez pierwsze dwa dni pobytu obsługa mówiła nam, że nie możemy otrzymać faktury. Albo rezerwowaliśmy aktywności które były w codziennym planie darmowych aktywności a potem okazywało się że musimy za nie dopłacić (tenis i pickleball). Raz okazało się, że mój masaż nie został wpisany do grafiku - udało się go zrobić, ale to było dziwne, bo potwierdzałam go dwa razy. To samo dotyczyło kolacji sylwestrowej, gdzie najpierw otrzymaliśmy informację w mailu i nawet pokojach, że pakiety zawierają napoje w tym alkohol, a następnie dzień przed otrzymaliśmy informację, że alkohol należy dodatkowo wykupić w formie następnego pakietu. Nawet na kolacji, którą mieliśmy w cenie, jednego wieczoru otrzymaliśmy informację, że możemy wybierać inne rzeczy, niż kolejnego 🙈 To nie wpłynęło na nasz komfort i ocenę obiektu, ale myślę że warto nad tym popracować, żeby takie sytuacje się nie zdarzały. - bardzo mała liczba leżaków przy basenie i na plaży - przy hotelu tej klasy to trochę śmieszne, żeby ludzie musieli rano zajmować leżaki, bo później nie ma ani jednego wolnego. Ogólnie sama przestrzeń plażowania też mogłaby być trochę lepiej wydzielona od części jedzeniowej. Brakuje delikatnej muzyki przy basenie i w restauracjach. - domki są nowe, ale wymagają uważności - w naszym pod prysznicem kiepsko spływała woda. Tak kiepsko, że po brzegach ściany widać, że to nie zdarzyło się podczas naszego pobytu, tylko to ciągły problem, bo ona już nie schnie. Warto się temu przyjrzeć i uczulić obsługę od sprzątania, aby zwracała uwagę naganie rzeczy. - warto także popracować nad większą różnorodnością śniadań - jeśli zostaje się na kilka nocy, to taki sam wybór każdego dnia w koncu staje sie nużący.

• Erica Bendinelli (9/5): Bel resort - La struttura è accogliente e pulita, i servizi sono fantastici specialmente il massaggio di Thearong, persona eccezionalmente preparata così come Cathy, super professionale e gentile. Lo stand per gli sport con i suoi lavoratori è efficiente e le proposte sono carine. Anche gli eventi giornalieri sono vari e noi abbiamo preso parte ad almeno 3 di questi. Colazione buona, ma potrebbe migliorare. Alle 10 di mattina i lettini da spieggia erano finiti; gli ospiti possono fumare ovunque, forte deterrente; nonostante nella prenotazione avessimo il check out tardivo, alle 12 è arrivata la chiamata che ci chiedeva di lasciare l'alloggio. Abbiamo fatto un jungle trail e ci è dispiaciuto vedere dietro l'area giochi per i bimbi, le lamiere e un po' di cose abbandonate, sicuramente da sistemare.

• SABRINA (10/5): - We stayed for four nights over Christmas in the two bedroom family villa with a private garden pool and had a wonderful experience. Everything was designed with great care and attention to detail, creating a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. A variety of complimentary activities were offered for both children and adults, each of them thoughtfully organized and enjoyable in its own way. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive at all times. The food in all restaurants was absolutely delicious, and special dietary requirements and allergies were handled effortlessly and with great care. The resort is very quiet and peaceful, making it easy to fully relax and unwind. At both the beach and the pool, complimentary toys, snorkeling equipment and kayaks are available. There is also a lovely children’s playground as well as a paddle court. Overall, it was a truly relaxing and memorable stay that we would happily recommend. ------

The food options are excellent, and the staff are extremely attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. They really made our stay special. The hotel was really accommodating when we left and gave us a late check-out and organised a return boat in the afternoon, which allowed us to spend more time at the hotel, which was really nice. Highly recommend. Koh Russey isn't quite as beautiful as some of the other islands like Koh Rong. Make sure you discuss your arrival time with the staff so that you don't miss the last boat going to the island.

• Victoria (10/5): We loved every second of it and would highly recommend booking! - Everything during our stay was exceptional! The property itself is brand new which reflects in the standard of the rooms. It’s fresh and clean and the interior was planned with lovely details. The rooms are spacious and bright, beds super comfortable. Every day, the rooms are well cleaned and before bed time, curtains are shut and the bed will be prepared. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a pool villa with sea view - wow! The view and the pool is amazing and we felt so lucky. The property offers three different restaurants. We tried two of them and were very satisfied with the food (typical Cambodian selection and western food). They even have a pizza oven and offer fresh Neapolitan style pizzas - so good! The breakfast offered also a wide selection for everyone’s taste - we got really hooked on the Avocado toasts. Overall, food and drink quality is really good and the service provided perfect! The drink menu is nice too, especially the happy hour (buy one get two) from 2-6PM ;) What also convinced us to come back one day is the big pool area and the beach with its wide variety of activities offered (volleyball, beach tennis, botcha, snorkeling, kayak, stand up paddle, pickle ball, tennis, gym and much more!!!). As the hotel is so new, all of the activities and utensils are well in shape and provide so much fun. Lastly but most importantly to mention is the wonderful staff working in the hotel. Without them, nothing would run so smoothly. They took great care of us and did everything for us in order to have an exceptional stay. From the initial transfer there to our stay and transfer out everything was perfect. Pool is great, loads of free activities, gym steam and Sauna and massage was also lovely. The best bit of the stay and most unexpected is that the food is superb. Western and Cambodian/ Khmer food is great at each of their beach and street food restaurants Staff went above and beyond too. It felt like a real 5* luxury experience on a secluded island without forfeiting all amenities. Would come again for sure

The rooms are so nice, tasteful and beautifully decorated, the villas with a view from the bathroom in a green and lush garden are exceptional. All the staff members are super friendly, they were really trying their best to make our stay a very memorable experience. The breakfast and food in the restaurants was very tasty and was served with love. Sreythy picked us up at the airport Sihanoukville with a very warm and friendly smile and guided us through check in at the JATI Mainland Arrival before setting over to the island Koh Russey with the private boot transfer. That smile was always there when we met her during our stay and when we left she waved us goodbye with that lovely smile.

But honestly, it just came from a place of genuine friendliness.

From the moment we arrived, the service was fantastic and the private lounge and boat transfer made getting there feel seamless. The resort is colourful, funky and intimate, with a unique style that feels both luxurious and laid-back. Our room was beautiful with super comfortable beds, soft towels and a stunning bathroom. A big thank you to Bora, Eal and Kunthy who were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. All of the staff were lovely and their English was really impressive. There’s plenty to do around the resort and we loved how easygoing and welcoming everything felt. Nothing :)

My family enjoyed every moment of the stay. The ocean view suite with private pool is a must. The main pool was fantastic. The customer service was first class. We enjoyed our dinner on the beach. It was so relaxing and food was great. Breakfast was wonderful as well. If you want to relax and unwind, Jati is the resort to be at. Everything was great.
