• Léa (6/5): Very nice installations but too much air freshener and staff not great - Location is good, equipments are nice, overall very comfortable. It was low season and I was the only guest for most of my stay, which meant I had the dormitory for myself most of the time. Kitchen well equiped. Small table to work in the common area (for 2 people max). Hot water available at any time. The first night in the room with the shared bathroom I had an allergic reaction to the gel and spray air fresheners which they use IN EXCESS. I felt nauseous, had a headache and couldn't sleep. I let the staff know but I had to ask over and over during my stay and close and hide the gels myself, which was very annoying. If I hadn't prepaid I would have definitely changed accommodation. Thankfully, the dorm was the safe place for me, but my use of the common areas was greatly limited by these horrible chemical smells. The staff was overall (with a few exceptions, the person who did the check-in was nice and very professional) not friendly, immature and not caring. Most of them barely said hi, just spent hours on their phones, and could not help us book a taxi or anything else. Most of them also didn't speak any English (but I care much less about that, the problem was mainly the attitude). One girl actually avoided eye contact and ignored me (I think because of the language) when I asked something. Some staff also smoked in the common bathroom which is right next to the kitchen and the cigarette smell would stay for long (maybe that's what they use all of those sprays for!). Once I was cooking and asked her to go outside. The next time, there she was smoking again, not giving a damn. At times I really felt like my presence bothered them. The general comfort and the fact that it was very quiet and clean compensated all of that bad vibe, at least enough for me to have an ok stay, but it's really a shame because it could be so much better.
• Léa (4/5): Too much air fresheners and chemicals - The room is comfortable and quiet. I only had a major problem with the chemicals they use. Otherwise it would have been perfect. I had an allergic reaction to the air fresheners used in excess (nausea, headache and insomnia). Also the pillow smelled like it had not been washed (not fresh) and instead they just used perfume on it. I got rid of it but still the air freshener smell was everywhere. Shared bathroom is on a different floor, not very practical. Dormitories are much better with the attached bathroom.

• Saskia.doe (7/5): - The living room and the kitchen. You could refill your water. The refrigerator unfortunately had no labeling system. Some food items were spoiled, and the refrigerator was generally not clean. The bathroom was shared by both dorms, but there was also a separate washroom downstairs. The bathroom had a somewhat strange smell.

The fact that the quiet hours are respected at night is truly commendable. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the tropical island vibe while having a peaceful and safe stay.

• Pia (8/5): Perfekt um erstmal auf der Insel anzukommen - Stilvoll eingerichtet und alles da, was mensch so braucht Ich hätte mir ein „Nachtlicht“ bzw. „Leselicht“ neben dem Bett gewünscht. Eine kleine extra Lampe, welche vom Bett aus an- und ausgeschaltet werden kann
• Yette (2/5): No thanks - Der Aufenthaltsbreich war schön Es war nie Toilettenpapier vorhanden. Das untere Bett ist so niedrig dass man sich immer den Kopf stößt. Ich hatte zudem die schlimmste Erfahrung mit einem männlichen gast der im mixed dorm room nachts immer nackt rumgelaufen ist und bei offenere Tür die Toilette benutzt hat. Ich habe mich noch nie so unwohl gefühlt und es dem Personal mitgeteilt. Der Typ hat gar keine Konsequenzen bekommen. Solche Menschen müssten rausgeschmissen werden und die Aufgabe des Personals ist es den Safe Space zu gewährleisten. Sehr enttäuschend und ich Wechsel aufgrund des Vorfalls die Unterkunft

I accidentally left my phone in the locker and had already traveled to Bangkok, but they kept it safe and even posted it back to me. Truly perfect hospitality!! • Angela (9/5): - Das Hostelpersonal war sehr nett. Als ich dort war, haben sie noch extra Vorhänge an den Betten angebracht. Ich habe noch ein paar Ideen für das Hostel gebracht und sie haben alles umgesetzt. Es war jederzeit sehr sauber und die Zimmer sind groß. Da es an der Straße gelegen ist, kann es sehr laut werden

• Anika (10/5): - Super nettes Personal, alles ist sehr neu und sehr sauber! Fußläufig gibt es nicht so gute Essensmöglichkeiten, mit dem Scooter ist das aber kein Problem! Bisher gibt es keine Kooperationen mit einem Scooterverleih oder Wäscheservice, ich denke das wäre eine gute Idee für die Zukunft!
• Jose Guillermo (6/5): Creo que el hostal es muy sobrevalorado pero tampoco es un mal hostel - Es bastante céntrico El personal es muy amable Las zonas comunes están muy bien Sin cortinas Cero privacidad en la habitación No cuenta con lockers grandes solo pequeños para máximo una laptop pequeña La distribución del hostal es bastante extraña, tienes el baño hombres exactamente detrás de recepción que además no está completamente cerrado así que cero privacidad, después vienen la cocina que si está muy bien equipada pero no sé quién cocina en Tailandia cuándo es más barato comer afuera, cruzando la cocina están dos duchas y el baño de mujeres, todas relativamente grandes. Después subes 2 pisos por las escaleras hasta la única habitación compartida, que usa una cortina en lugar de puerta, en esta primera área son 4 camas que si o si debes atravesar para pasar a la segunda área de las camas compartidas, esta área si tiene puerta para las otras 6 o 8 camas, no recuerdo bien, pero es súper súper pequeño y huele bastante mal, pero esta segunda parte tiene un baño que solo usan los de esta parte, así que ese baño lo comparten 8 personas y los que están detrás de la cocina los otros 4 pero son dos pisos más abajo.

The hostel itself is very clean, with access to water and coffee, and a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. It’s very centrally located, both in the port area and the island’s main area, so you can easily get around on foot, especially convenient if you don’t ride a motorbike. If you want to visit places farther away, you’ll definitely need to take a taxi or rent a motorbike. I visited during a quiet season, so I practically had the shared rooms to myself. This was great for privacy, though not ideal if you’re looking to socialize. For me, it was perfect, as I was there for a busy work week

• Melani (10/5): Good - Honestly, the hostel really surprised me in a positive way. It’s super comfortable and probably one of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The kitchen is lovely and has everything you need. Since I stayed during low season, I didn’t get to meet anyone, which was a bit of a shame — it would’ve been great to share the place with more people.

Sinceramente no entiendo las opiniones, para empezar la habitacion no es una habitacion, es un impass de la planta baja con la de arriba ya que en si no es ni puerta, es una puerta opaca de cristal transparente donde se ve absolutamente todo y para el colmo la luz de la habitacion esta fuera. La cama un parece una tabla de madera, se me dormía el cuerpo. El wc en la planta de abajo, tienes que descalzarte en todo el recinto lo que tienes que llevar tus chanclas en la mano para no mojarte los pies ya que hay una alfombra mojada y solamente hay un lavabo para todo el edificio sin papel obviamente siempre. He estado viajando muchos años sola y nunca he puesto una mala reseña pero para nada me parece acorde a las reseñas.
