• Roberto G. (7/5): - I think the bad rep is not justified. Yes the place is small, yes it could be a bit cleaner here and there, yes the rules could be shared in a more pleasant way, but eyes on the prize, the place is cheap. If you compare it to a capsule hotel it is so much better. The area is a lovely residential area. Yes there are cameras, but I haven’t heard a single voice coming out from microphone. As a solo traveler I found this place to be what I was looking for after an expensive 3 weeks trip. I heard cleaning noise from next room very early in the morning, not sure it was the stuff. The entry door is a bit shabby, but overall there wasn’t anything major.
• Joël (7/5): - Very cozy, and a lovely neighbourhood. The balcony was super comfortable and the bed was spacious. It was further from Shibuya than listed. The nearest station was a 12 minute walk. From there it was another 15-20 minute train ride to Shibuya. The host was very strict in their messages, and not friendly at all.

• Sergent (8/5): Unbeatable Price - The space was clean and had everything we needed. The price was very affordable which allowed us to enjoy our time and spend money elsewhere in Tokyo. The rules were made very clear ahead of time. It's a bit farther from the train station than I expected, a 15 minute walk instead of 8 minutes which I initially thought. However, there's also a bus stop that's much closer and goes directly to a train station.

• Ko (5/5): Small room 10 minutes or more from Yoga Station - Cherry blossoms on the side of the river nearby. There were washing machines. There was a convenience store not far. There was a small kitchen space and fridge. Lack of sockets. 12 mins from shibuya is incorrect. it took 10 minutes or more to Yoga Station. Our washing machien was not working properly on our second stay. When we put our suitcases there was lack of spaces and it was even difficult to pass each other.

Beautiful sakura just outside all along the river. Having to leave my key in a lock box instead of being able to take it with me. It felt a little unsafe somehow but not in any tangible way and it was a rule that had a very logical reasoning (to protect the security of the property long-term)

• REO (3/5): Outside is better. - まじで無いと言いたいところだけど、ロケーションだけは唯一悪くない。近くにスーパーがあって、自転車があれば難なく住める。二子玉川までも遠すぎる訳ではないから、短期滞在ではいいと思う。 まず、管理者の態度が悪すぎる。顔を合わせたこともなければ、頭上の監視カメラからぐちぐち何か指摘してくる。常時見られてる気分。一緒に住んでた人が日本語話せないのに、頑なに日本語で注意してくる。食器も汚いし、本当に酷い。

• Finn (4/5): Nice location - Nice quiet suburb of Tokyo, out the way of central chaos. Stating ‘better than outside’ is certainly not an excuse or benchmark for sub-par accomodation. A couple of shortfalls I noticed were, surfaces not wiped down, floors dusty, cutlery not clean and curtains were missing from windows. Lucky I was able to use my bath towel as a makeshift curtain! Additionally, when checking-in a rule book the size of War and Peace is thrown at you. The drill sergeant-like instructional rules made me feel as though I’m a 30 year felon being inducted back into society again. I.e ‘do not remove the key from the lockbox - otherwise, it is instantly assumed you’ve cloned the key and you will be automatically charged for replacement of locks and keys’ Other than that I had a lovely stay. Note - when booking it is stated a quite cheap price, however additional charges are whacked on top when finalising payment.
• Alejo (5/5): Intrusive monitoring, security risks, and poor accessibility - The location, it says what you get, its better than outside. The Experience: The host is passive-aggressive and quick to list restrictions, yet slow and dismissive when answering questions. It feels less like hospitality and more like being managed by a grumpy supervisor. It’s not horrible, but it’s not great (Grade: 5/10). Honestly, you’d have a more enjoyable stay at a capsule hotel where the staff is friendly and the instructions are positive. Privacy & Security: Constant Surveillance: There is a camera pointed directly at the door. The host monitors your movements in real-timefrom whether you are wearing shoes to whether you have moved the key and will literally "tell you off" via a speaker if you don't follow their specific rules. I genuinely question the legality of what they film, how they obtain it, and where that data is being stored. Key Security: You are not allowed to take the door key with you; it must remain in a basic x-digit padlock outside, which feels very insecure and easy to bypass. Accessibility & Location: Not Disability Friendly: This property is not suitable for those with mobility issues or wheelchairs. The doors do not open fully, making entry/exit difficult. The Commute: It is a 15-minute walk to Yoga Station, followed by a 12-minute train ride to Shibuya. Accessing the station requires crossing a large road via a footbridge (adding 5+ minutes if you need a street-level detour). Total transit time to central Shibuya is at least 30–35 minutes. Bottom Line: If you are on a very tight budget and only need something a "hair better than being outside," this works. Otherwise, the lack of privacy, comfort, and hospitality makes it a stressful stay. Its a shame, if communication was pleasant I would give this stay a 7 or even a small 8. Note to Future Guests: Watch for the host's inevitable snarky response to this review.

Literally, better than sleep on the sidewalks but with cctv in the room. 2000円代の価格が16000円台にまで予約確定後に請求されました。部屋はエントランスから床からキッチン周りも不衛生、バスルームは部屋中、床も水浸し、バスタブは滑り、水垢だらけ。壁は薄く隣りの生活音まる聞こえ、リネン類はシワだらけ。しかも部屋の中に監視カメラ(これもホテル側の記述と相違)。
• CHIA-CHI (1/5): - Nothing in particular. We stayed here for one night but decided to leave early. There were several maintenance issues in the room, including leaking water and damaged flooring. The house rules are very strict, but the room condition did not meet our expectations. We hope the property can improve its maintenance.

• Madison (10/5): Loved it, would stay again - This place is a hidden gem! Cute, clean, and quiet. I needed a place to stay while I was apartment searching in Japan, and this place came in a clutch! The price was great, especially on a last minute purchase. Had everything I needed from necessities, google tv, and a desk and chairs. Everything for easy liven life. The key is attached to a lock box on the door, which was nice because I probably would have lost it with everything going. 4 minute walk to the bus or 12 minutes to the train station. Two convenience stores 4 minutes away in 2 different directions, or if you wanted to cook, there is a local grocery mart a block up the road and they have plenty of prepped food as well! Shower works great! And there is some storage space above the bed! The bed was super comfy, and had a very nice mattress. Hangers to hang your clothes after you wash me the the provide washing machine, etc. 10 out of 10, recommend!!

• Rached (1/5): Not good at all. Staff are extremely rude. - Bad location. Nearest train station is a far walk. Name of the place is misleading. The staff at this property are very rude. DO NOT BOOK HERE. As soon as I booked a room, I got an email from them basically putting me off the place and telling me not to stay there. A few days later when my circumstances changed, they were super rigid, uncooperative, and threatening. I have never experienced this rudeness from hosts of an accomodation in my life before. The facility is poor and small. Save your money, and go somewhere else

• Zigden (10/5): It was awesome and I would definitely recommend if you want a chill place to stay. - I liked the convenience of the place and it was just so easy to maintain and stay in. The location was was nice and it was easy access to the station. The hosts were also great at communicating and everything was just quick and simple. There’s nothing particularly that I didn’t like. The only thing maybe would be if they could make the check in time a bit more flexible but other than that it was great.
• Bespartochnyy (9/5): As the name suggests, this hotel is “Better Than Outside”, but a bunch of nice things here make it much better than caps - This property has a great value, and I highly appreciate the fast internet, private bathroom, remote controlled AC, and much more. I noticed that sometimes after flushing the toilet or showering, it tends to smell bad about a minute or two after getting out of the bathroom, which isn’t a deal breaker but it can be a bit uncomfortable. Also, sound can travel through the walls quite easily which is something you should prepare for when booking with this property. You can hear the neighbors “having fun” quite clearly at night should they choose to do so, and the neighbors can hear you too. This hotel might be perfect for solo travelers or people who can actually stay very quiet at night.

• Michie (7/5): 思っていた以上に期待以上に充実の設備、アメニティ、清潔感。リモートワークも快適でした。部屋の住み心地はまさにbetter than outside!!! - 閑静な住宅街にあり、とても静か。カトラリー、鍋、調理器具、食器など、思った以上そろっていて自炊できた。 おいてあるハンガーの数も多く、室内干しもできて便利だった。小さなピンチハンガーもあり、靴下とか干すのにも助かった。 徒歩5～10分圏内にコンビニ・スーパー・ドラストありとても便利だった。 単なる見落とし？かと思うのだけれどレンジの下に前いた人の、ケチャップとマスタードのプチっとするパックがあった。わたしもたまたま見つけた。 あとトイレタンク上にシャンプー等がおいてあるのですが、シャンプーがこぼれていた？けっこう漏れていました。 白のタンクの上に白のシャンプー、これは本当に分かりづらくて私もさわって気づいた感じでした。 両方いたしかたなしかと思います。

• Xinyi (1/5): 极差的体验，更烂的房东 - 比睡马路上好不到哪里去 有生以来最差的体验，我预定了三个晚上，当晚打开门一股刺鼻的霉味，向房东提出后没有任何的措施，并且他质疑我的诉求说怎么从来没有别的客人提出过这个问题，与此同时，房东还会时刻监视你的一举一动，由于没有电梯入住当晚我有一位当地的朋友帮我把行李搬上了楼梯并没有踏入房门半步，房东会在监控里监视，并且质问是谁与我一同入住，由于住宿体验实在太差，我与房东沟通未果，房东提出可以提前一个晚上退房，并且退我一个晚上的房费。令我震惊的是，在我按照约定退房之后，房东竟然出尔反尔找种种理由搪塞推脱，至今没有退回其承诺的费用。 所有的沟通记录以及我与平台方的沟通都放在下面，大家可以参考。希望大家慎重选择，这就是一家黑店。
• Capmari (10/5): - The place was very lovely and pleasant to stay at, especially for a solo traveler. I enjoyed how accessible and clear every information is, considering how clear the owners are with their rules and explanations. The station is indeed 12 minutes away towards Shibuya, but keep in mind you still have to walk to the station 10-15 minutes. The staff was lovely and perceptive of messages, the room was clean and more spacious than I imagined it to be. Overall, very good price and location!

• Sayuri (5/5): まあまあ - 食器、調理器具、まな板まで揃っていた。夜10時まであいているスーパーまで徒歩数分だった。ホストからのメールでの返信はとても早く、分からないことはすぐに解決できた。 駅から少し遠い。バス停までは近いが、恵比寿駅までバスの乗車時間が長めである。掛け布団1枚のみで、エアコンをつけても夜は少し寒かった。浴室の掃除が不十分。前の利用者の汚れが浴槽内に残っていた。2階に滞在したが、洗濯機は1階の部屋の前のものを使わなくてはならず、少し気を遣った。1台は水が出なかった。ベッドが大きい分、部屋の他のスペースがかなり狭い。
• Kirill (8/5): - The room is compact, but it has everything: kitchen, toilet, even a small bathtub. The location is good, around 15 minutes to the closest railway station. The walls are thick, no worries about the noise. The rules can feel overwhelming and too much, but in the end, we never had any problems with them. Even though the room was clean, it was dusty under the bed and on the air con. If you have an allergy it can create some problems. But the owners are helpful, and, if you notify them in advance, I think they will clean it up before your stay. The floor in the bathroom can be pretty cold, if you want maximum comfort, better bring your slippers.

• Gauthier (4/5): Misleading Advertisement - The wifi is ok It is calm place Misleading Advertisement I am very disappointed with my stay. First, the hosts were rude and sent us messages in a dismissive manner. Additionally, we discovered that the accommodation was actually 35-40 minutes from Shibuya, not 12 as advertised! Regarding the property itself, there’s a camera right above the entrance and the owner monitors when you come in. Once, I accidentally left my keys inside and went back in without removing my shoes to grab them from the bed - I immediately received 4 messages, a phone call, and an email. Furthermore, the accommodation is very poorly insulated. During our week-long stay, temperatures dropped to approximately 10°C at night and we were extremely cold, especially whoever slept near the window. Moreover, there’s no curtain on the second window, which means you’re woken up at sunrise. Overall, for the price paid, I’m very dissatisfied. I strongly recommend looking at other accommodations.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

• girlangic (7/5): Lepiej niż na dworze - Bardzo łatwe zameldowanie i odbiór kluczy. Mikrofalówka, ciepła woda pod prysznicem, która leci od razu i nie trzeba czekać. Bardzo spokojna okolica. Pokój mały ale zgodny z opisem. Dla bardziej wytrwałych miejsce do gotowania, są wszystkie przyrzady, nam mikrofala wystarczyła.Na prawdę przerosło moje oczekiwania. Dziękujemy Pierwszego dnia po otworzeniu pokoju personel przez głośnik powiedział "PROSZĘ ZDEJMIJ BUTY". To, że trzeba zdjąć buty przed wejściem do domu jest w Japonii oczywiste. Poza tym było to w pliku "zasady obiektu", który do nas przesłano. Komunikat głosowy dał nam poczucie, że ktoś nas cały czas obserwuje. Obiekt jest 15min spacerem od stacji metra Yoga. 15 min okazało się być koszmarem. Dojście do obiektu i powrót to daje 30 min dodatkowego marszu...po zrobieniu 35 tys kroków po mieście każdy dodatkowy krok się liczy. W obiekcie była wilgoć niestety...przez co Ręczniki po pierwszym użyciu zaczęły brzydko pachnieć. Bardzo twardy materac.

• Haru (10/5): simple, affordable - I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was exactly as described, and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Everything was well prepared and easy to use, including the air conditioning, bed, and super basic amenities. The host was very clear and responsive with communication. For the price, it is an excellent value in Tokyo, especially being close to Shibuya by train. The room is tiny but it was already mentioned in the listing, and it was perfect for a short stay.
• Haoran (10/5): - 房间和照片中一致，设施完备而且房间很干净，有吹风机和浴缸，床铺很舒适，足够覆盖单人旅行生活的基本需求。旅馆位于住宅区内，虽然房间隔音比较一般，但是邻居们都很安静所以夜晚很舒适。和东京的其他旅馆对比已经很对得起这个价位了，适合单人旅行居住。另外只用邮件联系不需要和工作人员面对面接触，对社恐真的很友好（x 离便利店和车站的距离稍微有点远，不过好在全家在车站门口，晚上回来路过的时候记得买就好~

• Ryan (6/5): agreeable, but felt overly watched by them. - the location well further than they said it was from Shibuya, was in a very pleasant quiet part of the city. the hosts are over bearing, they mistakenly called me with a problem for room 203 however I was staying in room 205... as well as the photos in the add are of one specific room that has been fully finished where the one I was in was looking more like the landlord special....
