Guest Reviews
- Peter (10/5): - My entire stay there was superb, from the room to the bath, but most of all, the host. Everyone there is friendly, and while we did have to use Google translate to converse most of the time, I appreciate how patient they were with us. The host is such a friendly dude, and interacting with people like him really makes me want to put a bigger effort in learning the language for the next time.
Now for the baths, my goodness, ending each night with a shower and then soaking in the bath was the best way to recover from a day of walking everywhere. I'm already missing it and it's only been a day since my review.
I personally don't mind the distance from the ryokan to the nearest station(maybe 25-35 minute walk), I like walking the local areas, but I know some people may not feel the same way. Fortunately, the host does offer transportation to certain stations, just let him know in advance.
I will definitely come back again the next time I'm in the Osaka area.
- Patrick (10/5): - The staff made us feel at home during our stay. Everyone we met was a pleasure to be around. The property is well taken care of and a piece of art in itself. Breakfast was one of the best meals of our trip. I wish we spent more time here. A bit of a ways from main parts of town however the owners do a good job bringing you too thd best train station for your trip.
No tengo ninguna pega.
- Trevor (10/5): Far exceeded expectations. - Excellent place to stay while visiting Osaka, Kyoto, and Hemedji. The owner/Host was fantastic. He provided an experience that far exceeded our expectations. Hope to visit their again.

- Matti (10/5): - The owners were the kindest and most helpful ever. Very nice room, very nice bath. The owner drove us to and from the nearest station daily. Incredible stay!
- Libasse (10/5): Geweldig geweldig geweldig!! - Hun vriendelijkheid en de rust 🙏🏾
- James (10/5): -
- Morena (10/5): Semplicemente perfetto.
- Patricia (10/5): A Ryokan with modern comfort that embodies the hospitality ryokans are known for - I've been to a Ryokan before, 40 years ago. I came to this one with my adult daughter. The location is very unassuming. It's essentially in a suburb or exurb of Osaka. From the train station, it was a fairly long walk to get there and we ended up waiting at the wrong entrance. But once we got things sorted, it was the peaceful Ryokan experience I remembered fro the past. The owners are a husband and wife, and they are darling! We had to use Google translate a lot, but we got along well. The first day was my birthday and their restaurant wasn't open while we stayed there so the owner drove us to the train station so we could go to a restaurant in town. Then she picked us up when we got back. The room was a tatami mat room with a toilet and sink. The bath is to be taken in the onsite onsen. We were given yukata to wear to the onsen and it felt so authentic and relaxing! We had planned to decompress during our stay, which we were able to do nicely - it was so relaxing there. There is a convenience store a block away and a couple of good restaurants a few blocks farther. There is a large, interesting park dedicated to International Peace that we walked to.
When it was time for us to leave, they drove us to the train station again. I don't know if they do this for all their clients. We seemed to be the only ones staying there, but it made the experience so memorable.
I would definitly stay here again! This is not a criticism of them, but I wish the restaurant had been open while we were staying there. It was just bad timing on our part.
- Wilhem (10/5): Resting and relaxing. - A hidden gem in an urban zone calm and quiet
- Mateusz (10/5): Amazing hosts and great traditional experience - This is a fantastic place if you want to take some time to relax and take it slow, outside of the busy parts of Osaka. The best part our experience were the hosts, who were a lovely couple, very eager to help with anything, from restaurant recommendations to a lift to a train station. The second best part were the baths - it may seem weird at first that there are no bathrooms inside rooms (except for a sink), but that incentivises the use of the baths, which are for private use and were truly a highlight. The location is not great if you want to commute a lot and are limiting yourself to public transport - it's a 20-25 minute walk from the nearest station. We used bicycles (happycycling) as there is a bike station 3 minute walk away from the accommodation.
