- Élodie (10/5): Super accueil ⛱️ - Un grand merci à Romain pour son accueil chaleureux lors de notre arrivée à Bali. Il a été d'une grande aide pour la location d'un scooter directement à la résidence et nous as conseillé pour les plages et les restaurants locaux. La résidence est situé au calme, la chambre était super spacieuse et la piscine très agréable. Petit bonus pour finir en beauté, nous étions pris par le temps à notre départ et Romain nous a très gentiment laissé la chambre plus longtemps pour que nous n'ayons pas à nous presser. Nous ne pouvons que recommander et y retournerons sans hésiter.

Romain est toujours dispo pour donner un coup de main : idées de restaus, location de scooter, taxi etc... Donc on s'y sent en vacances à 100% ! Merci à tout le personnel qui a été adorable ! La déco est soignée et le petit dej super.
- Valeriia (6/5): Cozy but not very practical - The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were allowed to check in an hour earlier and were greeted with a welcome drink. They also gave helpful recommendations about nearby places. There is a shared kitchen area where you can use a fridge (there is no fridge in the room). In the morning, a simple breakfast is served: eggs, bread, fruit, and coffee. The villa itself is very clean, with a pleasant design and a comfortable bed. There is plenty of space near the headboard to place personal items, and the room has many power outlets, which is very convenient. The bathroom and shower are located outdoors, and there is an active construction site right behind the wall operating from 7 AM to 10 PM, which means there is essentially no privacy. The water in the shower frequently stops and resumes after about 30 seconds. It’s not critical, but it’s quite unpleasant to stand under the hot sun waiting for the water, especially with construction noise nearby. There is no hairdryer in the room, and no toiletries are provided. Towels were not changed during our entire stay. Considering the open-air bathroom, everything tends to get damp from rain and humidity and doesn’t dry properly. There is also no wardrobe, only a rail with five hangers, so we had to keep most of our belongings on the floor. The villa is located about 7 minutes by scooter from the main street and roughly the same distance from Dreamland Beach.

- fabien (10/5): Un havre de calme au cœur de Bingin! - Superbe localisation un tout petit peu à l’écart de la frénésie de l’hypercentre et donc calme. Les équipements de première qualité, la grande et belle piscine, le salon et la salle à manger de la zone commune sont très agréable. Romain, l’hôte est charmant et sait tout sur le Buckit et Bingin!!! À noter que le chantier de construction à côté ne dérange pas vraiment et s’arrête à 17.00 pile (Romain y veille!!!) soirées tranquilles garanties ! Le jardin est réellement bien conçu et crée des zones privatives à l’entrée de chaque chambre. Notre chambre, la plus petite bien que très vaste, manquait un peu de penderie mais nous avons pu visiter les autres qui sont largement pourvues de ce point de vue.

The setup creates such a calm atmosphere, and the attention to detail really shows. Romain, the owner, is a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. - Courtney (10/5): A beautiful oasis, perfect for our honeymoon - Great location, peaceful, and beautiful design. Romain and his dog Ziggy were fabulous hosts. The Villa staff were also wonderful and made us breakfast each morning and even sent our laundry to be done! Can’t recommend this place enough, we loved our stay. We booked the room with a private pool and it was lovely to have our own private oasis. Nothing! There is some construction next door but that didn’t bother us at all. Also the washrooms are outdoors, which was totally fine for us but perhaps something to note.
- Ling (4/5): A nice space but the experience fell short of expectations - Loved the aesthetics and vibe of the place. Breakfast was simple but pleasant. The bathroom was fully exposed and right next to a construction site, which made it uncomfortable to use and dusty. The hair dryer listed in the room was actually a shared one in the lobby. Communication via text was also slow and unresponsive at times.
- Scott (8/5): - Despite a late arrival, Romain was there to meet us with a friendly welcome and a smoothie. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast of fruit, coffee, a smoothie, and eggs or pancakes, was freshly made each day. Unfortunately, the secluded location was marred by the adjacent construction work. We had the air con on when we left the villa in order to keep the room cold, and the bugs away, but the staff left the door open after cleaning it. A small safe and fridge would have been useful.
- Charlotte (6/5): If you like minimalistic rural stays then this is for you - This villa is good if you want to go back to basics. There is little furniture and the bathroom and toilet is outside. If you are looking for a more rural and nature led stay this is for you. Romain was a lovely knowledgeable host. Good location. Ziggy the daschund was great! I was very concerned with the mosquitos and not being provided with a net or even a plug in. I suffer with mosquito bites badly and the villa due to the style, has gaps all round the windows and doors meaning mosquitos arent kept out. This ruined my stay for me as there were lots flying around in the villa at night and no way to stop them. The outside bathroom just wasn't for me personally as I was worried about creepy crawlies and geckos etc in the night in the dark There was one small mirror outside, no full length mirror. The villa is very dark inside and I was unable to do my make up as it was so darkm There are only two racks for towels and there needs to be more. No hangers inside either though there was a small clothes rack. A few small improvements could really make it an easier stay however it felt difficult to organise things with lack of amenities and light.
- Geziena (10/5): Good, clean, pleasant and good service! - It was a great accommodation, kind people, very clean, good location, close to beaches and popular restaurants. Romain is very helpful, even after checkout we could keep making use of the pool and shower. All in all, a great stay! If it ever come back to Uluwatu, id choose this stay again. Would recommend to have a bit more stuff in the room, such as a kettle (to make tea and coffee) and a bin in the room. Also when it rains the bathroom gets wet as it is partly uncovered. So maybe a cover for the toilet (so the toiletpaper stays dry) and also to user... would help. Also there is no cover for the upper Windows close to the roof. So you wake up in a very bright room. So bring an eyemask if you decide to stay here. But these are just small things, didnt affect our pleasant stay!

- Anna (10/5): Super séjour chez Romain ! - Les maisons sont confortables et très bien décorées. La piscine est très jolie. J’ai aussi apprécié le fait qu’il n’y ait que 4 maisons ce qui contribue à la tranquillité des lieux. L’emplacement est juste parfait ! Proche du centre ville et des belles plages tout en étant au calme (calme nécessaire lorsque vous passez une journée dehors car il y a énormément de monde dans le coin 😅) Le propriétaire, Romain, est très sympa et disponible. Merci à lui ! J’ai tout apprécié ! Je rajouterai simplement une moustiquaire au dessus du lit mais avec une prise anti moustique c’est très bien aussi (nous en avions une)
- Clement (10/5): Charmant et reposant - Le personnel et le propriétaire sont très agréables et de bon conseil pour visiter la région. Le cadre est charmant et paisible. Les petits déjeuners étaient excellents et copieux. Un restaurant a 5 mins à pied est excellent et pas trop cher. Pas mal de moustiques dans la zone, mais le propriétaire a proposé de nous donner du spray. Pas facile de visiter les alentours sans utiliser de scooter ou gojek scooter (mais ce qui est le cas de 90% de Bali).

- David (9/5): Great memories made in beautiful Villa Maja! - Villa Maja is a wonderful, small accomodation with only 4 villas around a sparkling pool. The villa was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean, it had been decorated to acknowledge our wedding anniversary, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. 😁 Breakfast, served by the pool was delicious ...fruit salad, fresh fruit juice and a choice of eggs or pancakes with tea or coffee. Romain, Rezna and Oktan are a great team and we enjoyed the company of the resident dachshund, little Ziggy! Thank you for a wonderful stay. There is a lot of construction happening in Uluwatu, so unfortunately there was constant noise from 8am till about 5pm, so difficult to avoid it during your stay, anywhere in Uluwatu. A fridge in the villa would have been useful.
- Jonas (10/5): Bästa stället att bo på i Uluwatu. - Fantastiskt boende med ett perfekt läge i Uluwatu. Det var nära till allting men ändå väldigt lugnt och mysigt. Ägaren Romain är en riktigt skön kille som kom med fantastiska tips och som fixade allt man önskade. Övriga i personalen var också otroligt trevliga. Sen måste man ju också nämna Ziggy den bedåranden taxen.

Ziggy the sausage dog was a very sweet host too ;) Like most places in Bingin, there was construction happening around it. Seems to be moving pretty quickly, so prob won’t be an issue for long. Was a little noisy for part of the day. Minor thing and outweighed by the beautiful villa.

It's also worth noting that the private villa's pool is not completely private, there is a small walkway through the plants where other guests can see in. It was still lovely though!
- Belén (10/5): Fantástica estancia - El lugar es encantador. Tanto las habitaciones como la pileta y el jardín están impecables. Fue una estancia encantadora. El servicio es excelente. Las chicas que trabajan allí son muy amables y Romain es un gran anfitrión. Nos brindaron buena atención, recomendaciones y un riquísimo desayuno. Muy recomendable. Además, la ubicación es muy conveniente ya que hay gimnasios y cafeterías cerca. Gracias por tan lindos días :) Desafortunadamente, hay muchas obras en construcción en la zona y el ruido se puede escuchar durante el día. Pero, a pesar de eso el lugar y el staff hace que puedas disfrutar mucho de tu estadía.

Rien. Un peu plus de rangement serait appréciable et un porte serviette de plus pour les maillots de bain et serviettes de plage ou de piscine.

- Linh (8/5): Gorgeous property with homey vibes! I wish I could comfortably use the beautiful outdoor shower more if it wasn’t becaus - Beautiful place with unique architecture! Close to Bingin beach and some nice restaurants. The staff were friendly especially the girl who served us their wonderful homemade breakfast. Also it’s right next to a very gorgeous reformer Pilates studio with great classes so it was very convenient for me to go get a little work out during my stay there. There was a construction going on right next to my room so it was noisy all day long. I could tolerate the noise, however, from the bathroom (outdoor/ open bathroom ) you can see the construction workers whenever they work, it made me quite uncomfortable when using bathroom/ shower thinking that I could be seen. This was not something the hotel could control and construction is everywhere now in Uluwatu, but if you’re seeking for some quietness away from the centre then I’d say don’t keep your hopes up 😅

- Surikova (10/5): It was a nice 3 days stay, the property area is beauitiful , particularly I liked antique window shutters on some villas - Quite street location, close to everything, antique furniture interior of common place, spacious room decorated with good smell flowers, comfortable bed, plenty of shelves, helpful staff, breakfast, swimming pool, nice garden. There is outdoor washroom, beautiful with plants along the wall, good size mirror, pretty. Though during heavy rain is harder to use, as it gets wet. With sunrise the room is very bright, top window had no curtains. For me it was not much the issue as I planned to wake up early anyways.
