Ram was a brilliant host—welcoming, he - I loved the property’s close proximity to the beach, local amenities, and plenty of nearby places to explore. The location was perfect for seeing lots of things while still being comfortable and convenient. The room had everything you could need, and the lovely garden was a real highlight—especially great for dogs. Nothing!

• Elisa (10/5): We had a lovely walk on the beach and a great break from our busy lives. - Rum by the Beach is a lovely property near the beach and the host provided us with great ideas on places to eat and things to do in the area. We enjoyed a wonderful gastro-pub dinner just a few minutes away by foot.
• Penny (10/5): Cosy, clean and crazily comfy! - Off road parking, two minutes walk to Camber Sands car park. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and they were incredibly helpful, both in advance of my stay and throughout. The studio is tastefully furnished, exceptionally clean and the decor kept up to scratch. The bed & bedding are incredibly comfy and the bed doesn't squeak! The shower is excellent, both in water force & temperature, just give the water ten seconds to warm up, it does. The garden has a variety of different chairs so you can enjoy the sun or shelter from the wind. The Studio kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and provisions. Dogs are made very welcome and the owners have gone to a lot of trouble to look after your hound, even supplying treats! Noise - if you want to relax, feel safe and enjoy peace and quiet, this is a perfect spot. A great stay! I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you x Having to go home!

• Lorraine (10/5): Birthday weekend away - Good location. Lovely accomodation, clean and well maintained. Great breakfast selection and enjoyed the little Easter egg hunt. Good to have a decent garden area especially when you have a dog. Host was fantastic, loads of useful info and recommendations, many of which we followed.

• Steve (10/5): Rūm is an excellent host and the facilities were super. - Exceptional personalised experience (Easter Egg mini hunt, welcome note!). Excellent large TV and full range of channels (Netflix, Amazon Prime etc). Very close to beach, excellent hot and powerful shower.

Help with arrival, the welcoming greet and quick explanation of what to find where was really appreciated after a long day (as I hadn't had a chance to read instructions sent). I was travelling with my dog, so it was great to have use of the secure garden and the location made for it easy access for a lovely beach walk as well as use of eating facilities close by. The property was cleverly designed with space saving ideas and had everything needed plus thoughtful extras. The garden gate was heavy enough to hold itself pushed too but, when travelling with pets, we would normally prefer to be able to secure the garden.

• Wraight (10/5): Warm, cosy and comfortable with the sound of the sea. - The location was very good with the dunes and beach beyond just at the end of the road. There was a lovely little pub a couple of minutes walk away and other amenities close by, including the bus stop for Rye and New Romney. The property itself was very cosy, warm and comfortable with all the equipment you could need. The shower was also very good- large walk in with plenty of hot water. ?The bed was particularly comfortable. I loved that I could hear the sea with the french doors open and this would be even better in the warmer months when one could also sit outside in the garden area. Best of all was the host who couldn't do enough for us. She texted precise directions and followed up with suggestions for places to go and things to do. She was very welcoming and helpful. Nothing
• Sharon (10/5): Fantastic cosy place closed to beach - Everything! Beautiful cosy space with a nice little garden perfect for the dog and for nights outside when weather is warmer.. Amazing how comfortable and well equipped you can make a small space. The bed was super comfy and we were so cosy we didn't even bother going out at night. Really close to the magnificent beach that goes on forever, great at any time of year. The host has taken every possible care to make the place lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Thoroughly recommend. Nothing.

• Paul (9/5): Book in and see for yourself - Great location, walked to the beach this morning bare foot and straight into the sea (instantly regretted this 😂) - it’s that close, and in the winter dog friendly. Comfortable bed and host communicated well prior to arrival. Wouldn’t normally care about a tv - but having Netflix meant I could wake the Jake Paul V Anthony Joshua fight.

• James (10/5): A great location and everything you could need - Our stay was a delight from start to finish, the facilities provided were exceptional. The communication from the start went above and beyond to provide information about the local area, restaurants and things going on before we'd even arrived. There was even provided a large book of local maps, take away menus and brochures for local attractions in the room. The room was very well equipped with everything we needed for our visit and more, a good variety of breakfast items, teas and coffees, even a bag of ice in the freezer. The bed was incredibly comfortable and warm and the tv had Netflix available. We really enjoyed our stay and found everything to be fantastic and all eventualities had been considered and provided for.

• Elizabeth (8/5): A tiny palace. - Very clean and modern and we loved the personal touches... as it was Halloween the owners added a little spooky feel which was lovely. The breakfast basket was a nice bonus too. Even though it was nice, it was a tad small for me as I'm a larger person with a few issues but this is just a personal thing...
