• Telma (10/5): Foi cinco estrelas! - Alojamento bem localizado, com direito a uma piscina privada com vista para o monte Brasil. O facto de podermos fazer o nosso próprio pequeno almoço e com isto as vezes não precisávamos de comer ao meio dia, foi ótimo. A amabilidade e disponibilidade da Dona Fernanda (cinco estrelas). E o casal com quem partilhamos a casa (casal alemão) muitos simpáticos.

The house is a lovely combination of self-catering with a delicious and varied continental breakfast provided every morning. If possible book Room 1 with the best views and balcony of its own.

La zona non è proprio centrale, non distantissima dal centro ma è preferibile l’auto. La colazione non mi è piaciuta, poca scelta e soprattutto ti devi cucinare da solo le cose; fatta il primo poi giorno e poi ho preferito farla fuori. Attenzione poi alla manutenzione, la struttura è stupenda ma nella mia stanza ci sono le prime crepe e buchi nel muro e nel pavimento, curatela!

• Sara (8/5): Wonderful cozy hotel - Great little hotel-bnb, i would reccommend for short stays ! Comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. I loved the perfect balance between intimacy, autonomy, and mingling with other guests in the shared kitchen. It is located right where the waterfront walk starts, just outside the city center, which i loved since I enjoy tranquility and walking a lot. The pool is technically open year-round, but during winter the weather isn’t warm enough to enjoy it. I’m certain is it very enjoyable in the warmer months, but it is something to consider if you are travelling between November and March.

All the window panels opened up as if you were part of the outside. although conveniences in the house were ultra modern. We have no complaints about the property, but some instructions on how to use some of the new fancy dancing doors and windows would’ve been helpful. Apparently it’s been developed.

Tampoco sobre la existencia de wifi y su clave, ni sobre el funcionamiento de la cerradura exterior, ni cómo sintonizar la TV. Lo peor fue cuando desapareció la bolsa de quesos que habíamos guardado en la nevera de uso común. El dinero que nos reembolsaron no compensa el disgusto y la pérdida de tiempo que by nos supuso. Viajero, espero que esto te sea de ayuda. Búscate otro alojamiento.

• Susana (7/5): - The accommodation has four rooms: the Family Suite on the first floor and three rooms in the basement, whose windows overlook interior courtyards. The Deluxe Double Room faces the street and is a bit noisy. Of course, if I had known I had booked a room in the basement, I would have booked the family suite with a balcony . Shower and matress were good. The terrace has great views and everything is new. The design is so minimalist that there isn't a single hook on the walls of the room for hanging towels or jackets. It was annoying not to have Wi-Fi in the room (a minimum in a room for almost 100eur per night). The communication felt very awkward and impersonal, as the answers to my questions — and to all the reviews here, obviously — were generated by ChatGPT. Unfortunately, Silveira Lounge Retreat is not really my cup of tea.

Everything was top quality from bed mattresses, linens, appliances etc. close to boardwalk along the ocean and walk into old town, parking just around the corner, easy to get out of town to explore the island
