• Melanie (8/5): Great house if your not using kitchen - The location was excellent only 5 min drive to donaghadee. In a nice quiet estate . Very clean. We loved the coal fire and the huge kitchen area. As it was Christmas and very vokd, we didn't manage to enjoy the lovely large garden. Good very comfortable beds in all rooms. Fantastic large bath , like a swimming pool. Very poor equipped kitchen . Very poor showers in all rooms , no pressure hand held electric shower heads. No serving dishes, sharp knives, grater, corkscrew etc etc. Certainly not a kitchen for cooking in or entertaining, we arrived christmas eve for a week and not 1 single decoration , never had that in Ireland before. A small welcome pack would have been advantageous after a long journey. Would gave been nice to have mirrors in at least 1 of the bedrooms.
• Hanchen (10/5): A Stunning Home for All Seasons - I call this property Home and not house because it felt like coming home without all the chores related with house. A week was far too short and we left reluctantly. Although it was only my son and I, this house is ideal for a family with children. Although winter, this is a house for all seasons: the huge, enclosed back yard, seating area and cooking on a fire. And for the cold evenings a lovely fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped. The separate laundry room, downstairs toilet and finer detail in planning of the house made it a pleasure to stay there. Quiet, friendly neighbourhood. We did not have our own transportation, but it was never a problem - good public transport, shops within easy walking distance and the sea and nice restaurants a 20 minute walk away [I am in my high 70's]. A great plus about the house not on the shore front is ...............much less wind! I can only say thanks for the owner/host that allowed us the privilege to stay in his house Nothing

• Iwona (10/5): Exceptional - The house is big, with a great garden, and located in a beautiful, peaceful area. It’s definitely worth staying in! It had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. Although we didn’t meet the owner in person, communication was excellent. We received thoughtful messages checking that we had everything we needed, which made us feel very well looked after. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway!
