• Philippa (6/5): Pleasant. - A nice welcome. Very pleasant area. Very comfortable bed. Large bedroom with pleasant bathroom. We stayed 2 nights. We had a nice bedroom with a terrace but it suffered from traffic noise. Not the management’s fault of course. But some small things were disappointing. The aircon didn’t work. No coffee machine in the room. After the initial welcome, there was no one on the front desk. No other staff spoke English and we didn’t speak Arabic. And 1/3 of a toilet roll in the bathroom seems a bit mean!

• Ariana (10/5): A palace stay, right in the heart of Zamalek! - The service here was exceptional, the friendly receptionist (so sorry we didn’t catch your name!) gave us a tour when we arrived and explained the history of the apartments which we really appreciated. The interior was beautiful and you really felt like you were staying in a palace. We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone. Five stars doesn’t seem enough! N/A

• Federico (10/5): Hotel nuovo e fantastico - La posizione è nella via delle ambasciate, in una zona sicura e tranquilla, vicino al Nilo. L’hotel è nuovo, le camere e il bagno sono veramente bellissimi e spaziosi, con tutti i comfort (frigo, phon, tante prese elettriche, ampia doccia, letto comodissimo, tv…). Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile, in particolare Hager si è sempre mostrata estremamente attenta ai nostri bisogni. Assolutamente consigliato per un soggiorno a Zamalek. Niente.

El lugar es muy bonito, y nuestra habitación tenía un balcón con vistas al Nilo muy bonito. El equipo es muy simpático y amable. La recepcionista es especialmente amable. Se pueden dejar las maletas después del check out. La cama es muy cómoda y la habitación es amplia y luminosa. La verdad es que todo estuvo bien

• xinyue (10/5): 好 - 地理位置好，周围不远就有很多餐厅，大部分地方可以走路去，打车也很好打。从门口就有小哥帮忙拿行李，院子也非常好看，很悠闲。房间很大，东西也比较齐全，早上也不会很吵可以睡个好觉。到的时候给了小饮料，应该是苹果醋，好喝。退房之后还帮我们寄存行李，我们去取行李的时候还借大厅的卫生间换了衣服，老板和员工都很友好的帮助我们，走的时候还帮我们把行李提到出租车上，非常好！ 阳台门好像有一点坏掉了，阳台门锁有一点点不紧，影响不大，有一个灯泡有一点闪，可以换一个新的。不过都无伤大雅。

• David (10/5): - Die Unterkunft ist in jeglicher Hinsicht perfekt. Zunächst ist die Lage hervorragend: Zamalek ist das Viertel wo sich zahlreiche Botschaften befinden. Daher ist es ziemlich sicher, was man auch an dem Verhalten der Leute erkennen kann. Es ist deutlich ruhiger, als in Kairo Downtown. Durch die Lage ist man so ziemlich in der Mitte von den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist makellos sauber und absolut ruhig. Der Charme des alten Gebäudes ist in der Tat einmalig und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Gleichzeitig gibt es eine hervorragende Klimaanlage und ein top Badezimmer. Im Außenbereich gibt es wunderschöne Sitzgelegenheiten, die wir aber kaum genutzt haben, da wir soviel unterwegs waren. In 3 Minuten Entfernung kann man super frühstücken. Ich kann diese Unterkunft somit uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Auch das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Hager hatte extrem gute Tipps wo man essen gehen kann. Die Orte die sie empfohlen hatte, haben uns sehr überzeugt. 10/10.

In the morning it is a bit noisy because there is a school just behing the building. Nothing extremely unpleasant but not great if you want to sleep in!

• Piotr (10/5): A comfortable, safe stay in Cairo - Before our trip to Cairo, we spent a lot of time considering where to stay. We chose this small hotel located on Zamalek Island. The main attraction was the view from the window onto the Nile, the architecture of the building, the location in a safe area and the proximity of the metro station. We were sure of our intention after exchanging correspondence with the very nice and helpful hotel manager. The reality exceeded our expectations, despite a minor mix-up regarding an extra bed for our daughter. The building is a historic building, and the staircase is decorated with Art Nouveau stained glass windows. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was modern and clean. A balcony overlooking the river was an added bonus. The hotel staff were very polite and always greeted us with a smile. We only missed breakfast, which the hotel doesn't offer, but the nearby bars made up for it. I highly recommend staying at The H Zamalek Suites

This is probably one of the prettiest hotel rooms I have ever stayed. The staff were so kind and the location was perfect. I stayed here in the beginning and end of my Egypt holiday. I will stay here when I return to Cairo.

• Hang (10/5): Great - The hotel is located on Zamalek Island in Cairo, within the embassy district, which makes the area feel very safe and secure. There are plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute walk, and it is very convenient to reach major attractions in the city center, such as Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. The hotel itself is a beautifully renovated former royal villa. While the interiors are modern and well-maintained, they have carefully preserved the original handcrafted decorations and traditional style, giving the place a unique charm. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. We truly appreciated their warm hospitality and excellent service.

Le lieux est aussi ravissant, et le sera d'autant plus en été, quand la piscine sera suffisamment chaude pour être utilisée. Rien. Je n'ai aucun reproche ou aucune critique à faire.
• Karla (7/5): Tolle Lage, tolle Gastgeber - Ausstattung könnte besser sein - Die Lage ist überragend und die Gastgeberin Hager ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt haben wir uns dort wohlgefühlt. In Kairo war es zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuchs kalt, das Zimmer hatte keinerlei Heizung. Der Heizlüfter war von anderen Gästen in Benutzung, weshalb wir ihn erst nach zwei Tagen bekommen haben und leider hat er auch nicht wirklich geholfen. Dazu war das warme Wasser begrenzt (duschen, Hände waschen). Uns wurde aber mitteilt, dass die Zimmer jetzt mit neuen Boilern ausgestattet werden, sodass es konstant warmes Wasser gibt.

The bed was the best, the location is fantastic, and everything felt easy and relaxed. What we appreciated most was the flexibility and the warm atmosphere — it truly felt like staying in a family home. We would happily come back!

• Donaji (10/5): - Absolutely recommend!! ! We had an excellent stay at H Zamalek. We were so positively surprised by this beautiful boutique hotel! Rooms are very spacious, perfectly clean, and decorated in a classic style with a lot of taste. Each room is unique (we booked 3 rooms), and everything looks new and good quality - the matresses specially were very comfortable . It is a beautiful old building, and the rooms feel truly special because of the architecture of the building, with "royal-like" details on ceilings and walls. Service is super friendly. The neighborhood is great for evening strolls and with many options of coffees and restaurants. So, in a nutshell, it was a perfect place to stay and great value for money! It was a little bit cold at night in the room, but I think we visited in the coldest week of the year.

• Avner (10/5): - I have traveled to more than 40 countries and lived in over 14 across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. This palace is by far one of the best places I have ever stayed in. First of all, you’re basically staying in a palace in one of the safest (next to embassies) trendiest, and nicest neighborhoods in Cairo Zamalek. The neighborhood is also home to several major Egyptian artists, including Oum Kalthoum. You’ll find trendy cafés, art galleries, and amazing restaurants with views of the Nile. It actually reminded me a bit of "Île Saint-Louis" in Paris or La "Condesa" in Mexico. The building has a rich history it was once home to famous Egyptian singer Mohamed Abdel Wahab (the Egyptian Aznavour). The staff were am-a-zing and extremely helpful with booking places and giving directions. A special thank to Hajar who was really patient with us and accommodated all of our needs. The whole palace is beautifully decorated with amazing taste and full of charm. We will definitely go back and stay even longer. Not to stay longer 😂

The staff is actually the best part of this hotel along with the beautiful classic decoration. The room was comfortable and spacious, it had everything we needed and a wonderful balcony as well. Another brilliant point about the room is the effective soundproofing which blocked all traffic noises from outside. Some things for the hotel to consider would be adding breakfast options. I can't think of anything

• George (10/5): Great hotel in a fantastic area. - This is a fairly new hotel and I had the honor of being the first booking (not guest). For this they gave me a chocolate cake, which was not only a lovely surprise it tasted delicious. The room and bathroom was very big, plenty of storage and space. Lovely balcony I enjoyed breakfast on every morning. The area around the hotel was beyond expectations. If you like coffee and sweet treats this is the area for you. A lot better then the chaos of downtown and the over price of being river side. The receptionist was very helpful, excellent English, even helping with tips for where to buy things. Room service on demand worked perfectly for me as someone who likes privacy. Overall was a lovely experience and I would happy stay here again. I was a tad loud, but it is as per all of Cairo. I think this would be the same everywhere .

• Christine (10/5): Best stay in Zamalek! Can’t get any better - I have nothing but great things to stay about our stay. In over 13 years of visiting Cairo and Zamalek yearly, this was by far our best stay. The house speaks of fine taste and unique history, renovated to ensure comfort. The staff is the most helpful one can ever meet, always available, showing care and respect without being too pushy (special shoutout to Hagar!) Looking to our next stay already! We already miss our room and the lovely Nile view from the balcony. I would just point out the occasional low pressure of the shower water. We pointed out the issue to the staff and they tried to help.

• Prateek (9/5): Great place at convenient location. - The property is new and well maintained, very well location with all the embassies around it, making it one of the safest places to stay in Cairo. There are good food options as well around the property and it’s a short ride to Downtown Cairo. Mostly everything was good . The washroom could be better in terms of fittings and amenities but it’s nothing to be concerning.
