• Selenay (7/5): Een prachtige, ruime suite, maar het hotel zelf viel tegen door geluidsoverlast, een niet super werkende airco en een ge - Wij hadden een Suite gereserveerd en waren heel erg tevreden over de kamer zelf. De kamer had een heel groot raam en was erg praktisch ingericht; we konden gemakkelijk overal bij en er was meer dan genoeg ruimte om onze bagage comfortabel te openen. Daarnaast was er één specifieke medewerker (die we zagen op zaterdagavond 22 mei) die echt top was! Wanneer we specifiek om extra zaken vroegen, werd dit met veel zorg en fijn werk voor ons geregeld. Het hotel was helaas een kleine teleurstelling door een aantal punten. Ten eerste was er veel geluidsoverlast door een verbouwing direct achter het hotel, waardoor we ook alleen uitzicht hadden op de werkzaamheden. Daarnaast werkte de airconditioning niet goed en hing deze op een onhandige plek. Zelfs als we hem continu op 18° en 'power cool' zetten, sprong hij na een tijdje vanzelf uit en bleef de kamer aanvoelen als 25°. In het begin hadden we hier erg veel moeite mee, al wende het na een tijdje wel iets. Verder heeft het hotel geen eigen restaurant of centrale plek om te eten; alles moet als roomservice naar de kamer worden besteld (soms een dag van tevoren). Ook was er geen zwembad bij onze suite. Hoewel we gratis ergens anders mochten zwemmen, was dit te voet niet haalbaar en moesten we steeds een taxi nemen. Tot slot vonden we de gastvrijheid bij de lobby matig. Bij aankomst kregen we een vrij vage verwelkoming. Het personeel was wel oké, maar in vergelijking met andere hotels voelde de vriendelijkheid helaas een beetje 'verplicht' aan.

• Artem (6/5): Not worth it tbh - Very new and spacious room. Nice interior and friendly staff. Very smartly designed shower. A few good places nearby - nice gym, coworking, Bagel It. There is no door at the bathroom. This means that all the sounds from there are very well heard all around the room. A questionable design decision. The hotel itself does not have a shared pool at the premise. They offer a free pass to a lounge at a sister-hotel, but we did not try it. It is 5 min drive away from this hotel. There is a lot of construction going on around. Literally all we were able to see from the balcony is a huge construction site.

• Jacinto (10/5): Exceptionnel ! - Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à The Arden Villa Uluwatu. La villa était magnifique, propre et très paisible. Le personnel a été extrêmement gentil et accueillant tout au long du séjour. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner, très bon et agréable chaque matin. L’endroit est idéal pour profiter d’Uluwatu dans une atmosphère relaxante. Merci pour ces deux belles nuits ! Malheureusement, il y avait quelques moustiques à cause de la piscine, mais le personnel a été très à l’écoute et a fait de son mieux pour assurer notre confort.

Der Zimmerservice hat extrem gut funktioniert. Sehr schöne Dusche. Abends war es laut. Die Liegefläche am Pool müsste anders sein, diese liegt direkt im Wasser und ist deshalb dauerhaft feucht.

• Vicki (2/5): NEVER AGAIN - Bed was comfortable Location- surrounded by noisy construction. People staying in villa next to us partied till midnight then woke us at 6am with loud music. When complained about it we got poor response. The bathroom had a smell of sewage about it and also when I told them they tried to blame us for it. Never again had paid for 3 asked for a refund refused. Offered me a massage for the inconvenience. Pathetic outcome.

Het ontbijt elke dag was ook heel lekker. Het dakraam in het plafond in de badkamer lekte als het veel regende, de wc zat half los en was niet goed vastgemaakt. De douche werd na 10 minuten al koud ookal zette je hem op het heetst. Er waren heel erg veel muggen die door vele kieren de kamer in konden komen. Het was heel erg gehorig, je kon andere mensen in de andere kamers goed horen. Er waren vele verbouwingen gaande tijdens mijn verblijf, aan de overkant van het hotel waar je op uit kijkt en in het hotel waren ze in bepaalde kamers ook regelmatig aan het verbouwen wat jammer en niet heel erg rustgevend was, dit stond ook nergens vermeld. Het bad in de kamer was mooi maar niet functioneel, na een tijd werd het water koud en was het niet fijn erin te gaan.

• Shreshtha (4/5): Not worth the money - The rooms and bathrooms are mostly clean. The staff hadn’t cleared out the leftover food from the previous guests when I arrived to the room. There’s construction right out front and the area is quite far away from the main road and is sometimes difficult for grab riders to find. The walls of the rooms are very thin and you can hear a whole conversation from the room next door. There were noisy guests so my sleep was interrupted.

The pool decorations shown in the photos were not included as implied — we were told they require 1-day advance notice and come at an additional cost of nearly 4 million IDR, which was never clearly disclosed. Another major issue was with the massages. When booking through Booking.com, the listing stated that 2 free massages were included, but when we tried to use them, the hotel did not honor this and instead charged us over 1.2 million IDR for two massages, which felt like false advertising. Additionally, the villa is located right next to a large construction site

• ADAM (8/5): Clean, modern and good breakfast. - The rooms were luxurious. The breakfast were super delicious with many options and big portions. The staff were nice. The construction is kinda annoying especially if they operating in front of the house with the drills. For that reason I think for this period of time they need to make a bigger discount in order to "compensate" the people that chooses to stay with them.

I reported it but never saw anyone come. Also the area is under construction lots of noise all day and night .you may even get monkeys running along the fence line . I will say that you are quite private and it’s very relaxing for a few days as a couples retreat. The bed and pillows are amazing super comfy.

• Natasa (1/5): I will never come back here again! - Very bed service, we payed extra for laundry. They dried our two towel and asked for charge of 10euros. They even didn’t notice us that we have to pay extra. If they said to me, that cost that much, I would then decide will I take it or leave it. I used to travel a lot, but never has to paid for drying two towels. We also used a laundry in Bali, and we paid for washing and drying, for 4-5kg, less than 5euros. Ridicilous. Its not about money, its about principle. Tourists are not stupid, even in America you wouldnt paid like this..

Very modern decor, staff are available 24/7 and go above and beyond to make sure stay as memorable as possible. Breakfast is fantastic lots of options to choose from and delivered every morning to your room. Lots of construction in the area, but staff were very apologetic about the noise and the view. Surrounding area is going to be gorgeous once finished.
